It is odd to wake from a nap to realize one is mostly sitting up. Her eye popped open to see a gray sky. She realized that she was in the passenger seat of her own car.
She and the Doctor had found the slow gas leak that had knocked those poor school children out. Unfortunately she had succumb herself apparently as well. She rubbed her eyes, rubbed at her temples, gave her head a little shake, and then felt fine.
"Doctor is everything alright?" She asked blearily, not quite looking at him yet as she tried to straighten out her tangled memories, but everything was a little fuzzy after he'd handed her the flashlight. The last thing she remembered was him looking at her from six centimeters away, his lovely hound dog eyes so sad. "Are you alright?"

"Oh, Good you're awake I was starting to get worried." He says smiling "Oh, don't worry about me, how are you feeling you were muttering something about blobs the size of volleyballs" he says he carefully pulls into the parking lot of her office.
"So how are you feeling? I was quite worried about you."

"Hmm." She said quizzically, rubbing at her temples and sitting up more properly. For half an instant, she is annoyed that he is driving her car, but it only takes one parking job to show that he is an excellent driver and respectful of the sweet machine she'd borrowed from the paper. She ba-blinked at him as her eyes adjusted to the early evening light. She flashed a little sheepish smile as she caught a little drool off her cheek with the back of her hand.
"Beach balls? Really? I don't remember anything after you handed me that flashlight." She looked at the office of the newspaper publisher she now worked for and sighed. I've had quite a day." She let loose a small laugh. She liked a little excitement, but she also liked to remember it. "Doctor, would you drive me home please?"

"Doctor, would you drive me home please?"
"Of course Sarah-Jane, it would be my honor" The Seventh Doctor pulls out of the parking lot, and onto the quiet road and begins to drives at a nice pace towards Sarah-Jane's house.
A Few minutes pass.
"So have you enjoyed our little adventure? I have." a smile on his face.
"Would you mind if, once I've driven you home I drive back to the paper? I'm meeting some people whom I've hired to move my Police Box there soon" "Are we getting close?" He asks looking around.

The clouds have broken up, and some late day sunshine makes the newly washed leaves an extraordinary sixteen colors of green. She watches it scroll by, certain now that her cousin is an excellent driver. She laughs a little.
"You know, I really did enjoy that. I really did, Doctor. I'd break in to a sewer with you anytime. There is my place there." She pointed. "It would be a help to me if you would take the car back and get that silly police call box out of my office. You can just leave the keys on the desk." She looked to him and smiled. "I'm glad you came to find me, Doctor, will you come and visit me again sometime?"

The Seventh Doctor pulls into her houses' driveway parks the car, exits it, walks over to her side opens her door and extends a hand to help her out of the car.
"I'm glad you had a good time Sarah-Jane, I'm afraid I'll be unable to visit you for some time, you see I've been booked in Asia then North American, so I'm not sure when I'll get back."
He embraces her in a hug, then returns to the car
"Oh, Sarah-Jane, that reminds me I heard that scientists are going missing at that U.N.I.T Base outside town, I thought you might to know that."
With that he pulls out of her driveway and waves good-bye.

She held on to him, suddenly wishing he was not leaving.
"I'll miss you. Be careful out there, cousin, it's a big world."
She felt sort of perfectly content and sleepy as he drove away. And oddly, not worried at all about whether or not the car would be returned. Of course he would, and he would leave the keys as well. He would probably turn of the light in her office as he left.
"Good bye, Doctor!" She called, waving to him as he drove away.
What in the heck was 'Unit', she wondered.

Meanwhile, back at Sarah-Jane's office at the paper, The Doctor places the keys on her desk then, sticks his hands into his jacket pockets leisurely, and feels something that he had forgotten about, due to events involving a Time-Lord known as Alec, His Grandaughter Susan, Ace and one of his future selves. He removes the object; A Holo-Cube? Correction, A Holo-Cube bearing the mark of his old flame. The Archivist. Carefully he activates the message, and listens.
"Doctor, this is Archivist. I'm alive, I ran. I ran so far away. But I'm alive, I want you to find me. I meant my words, that I whispered to you that day in the Square. I will trust you, care for you, no matter what time or place i am. No matter if I have to do something I'll regret, which I do. I have to hide, I can't really explain why, but I have to hide.
Doctor, I want you to find me. I'm going to lock away my Time Lord self, and I need you to look for me. I'll be a human, but you'll know me. You'll know me. My name will be Seren Ash. Look for me Doctor, I'll be searching for you in my heart."
Without hesitation he races to his console, intent on discovering what happened to The Archivivst.
The Familar groan of the TARDIS fills The Now Quiet office of Sarah-Jane Smith...
