The robe was from Beijing. She was quite smitten with its deep rose silk, finely accented with chartreuse. Richly made, stiff with it's quilted layer. One of her little indulgences. She was undone for the day, her face washed, and wearing her matching silk mules. She was standing in the kitchen eating a cookie over the counter when the phone rang. Sarah Jane startled as though being caught with her hand in the cookie jar, for just an instant, before grinning at her self and relaxed. She licked some wayward chocolate off the side of her hand, before scooping up her phone, glancing at the display and answering. "Rani? Hello?" Dark eyes flickered to the display clock on the refrigerator, and she hoped everything was all right with the girl.

Owen was over UK doing some personal business and Torchwood was informed he out that area. While he was in that direction he was informed to check out a strange alien activity in that area.
So, there he was walking down a side walk, knowing he was near Jack's friend Sarah Jane's home. He wasn't sure exactly but Jack had hinted to look around that area. So he did.

Sarah paced her kitchen a bit as she spoke with the girl, her own voice the only other sound in the room besides the cycling of the cool box. "Are you sure it wasn't just branches in the wind, Rani? It's dark out there." She said, then listened, letting out a little sigh, realizing she was going to have to get dressed again, and she could kiss the last few chapters of "The bridges of Madison County" goodbye. Still, as she spoke, her face slowly lit up. She loved not knowing what was going to happen next. "Well then, stay inside and don't go peeking out any windows for a bit. Keep your phone close and call me if anything happens. Do you here me? If there is something out there, and if it's not dangerous, I'll call you. In the morning." She said in her firmest voice. At 16, Rani was both vulnerable and rebellious. And brilliant.
Sarah changed into her leathers, both for protection against the brambles, and for their perfectly black sneaky factor. She'd rather not have to explain to the Chandras why she was spooking about in the wood behind their home.
Calling on Mr.Smith seemed unnecessary. Something she had learned was that most of the aliens visiting Earth did not come to cause trouble. Just last week she'd spent days investigating a new alien only to find he was simply studying the Bug Hotel designed by ARUP. He was just otherworldly architect looking for new ideas. Over these last months, she and Mr.Smith had been working out new guidelines for what constituted a yellow alert or a red alert, or what was so innocuous that it could wait for a weekly report. Otherwise, she'd never get any sleep.
Before she'd settled down for the night, Mr.Smith had reported two yellow alerts for tonight locally, and 14 within its sensor capabilities. If there was a red alert, Mr.Smith would have said something. For a moment, she missed K9, but she had needed him to go with Luke. In addition, K9 was terrible at sneaking around in the woods.
Sonic Lipstick fully charged in one pocket, a bag of M&M's and her cell phone in the other, Sarah Jane Smith picked up her favorite flashlight and slipped out her side door of her house and into the twilight..

Standing on the corner of the street, Owen saw something dark ran into the woods. The dark alien form did not look like any animal he knew of. That could be the thing Jack had sent Owen to investigate. “Why it has to be woods?” he whined to the open air. He hated nature, he hated woods because the adventure with flesh eating crazy people; they met in that town.
He quickly, ran that direction; thinking he had to be insane to go in dark woods with a friggin flash light.
(Occ I am keeping them short to try aim for good quality okay)

Caution paid off beautifully as it sometimes did. As she came along the side of her house to the front, torch off, she saw the shape of a man out in the street, off to the edge of the Chandra's property.
Silently, she tucked in against the wall, melting into shadows. He was perhaps 5' 11', maybe 25. He moved like a soldier. He was built like one as well, the lean sort. Human or alien, he was that. Silky. Alert.
Something caught his attention that she could not see. He said something she could not hear, but he sounded agitated.
There was not going to be a second peek through a teenage girl's window, for whatever purpose. Sarah would make certain of that. She watched and waited, planning her approach by shadow-cast path. Just in case.
((OOC- Suit yourself on length, Owen. I've never seen poor quality in your posts. Thanks for RPing with me.))

Owen stopped, he heard something, he quickly stepped behind a tree. He had felt the fear in him because this had made him think of the time he was in the woods with Gwen. Knowing the alien was ahead of him, but something was following him.
Quickly hiding behind a tree, he was planning to freak out his follow away.
He had waited for the follower get closer. He was quiet, he had allowed the person to slowly sneak up by him. It was a female. Pulling his gun out, he stuck at the woman. "I think you you should leave," he said to the female. He wasn't sure who she was but he was hoping she would run away.

She spun away and back at the touch of the barrel and the sound of a man's voice, shocked to find a gun pointed at herself. He was simply sketched in moonlight, but she could see the eye of the weapon clear as day. Sarah Jane's voice came out a shout that was somehow contained to the volume of a harsh whisper without loosing any of it's intensity. Her dark eyes moved from the unblinking eye of the weapon to the shadow hidden eyes of the man and back again, flabbergasted.
"I don't know who you think you are, Mister, flashing a gun about, but this is a neighborhood. Families live here. Families. Sleeping. Now PUT that THING away." Her finger emphatically pointing right back down the barrel of that gun for a moment in unconscious 'tit for tat'.
A cloud shifted, moonlight flowed across the man, and she knew for certain then that it was the soldier from the road. Her mouth made a small, tense twitch of annoyance when she realized she'd let the man flank her. He also appeared to be shaking a little.

“Look missy,” he said. “I don’t need your lecture. I am the ‘new’ night watch neighbor for this neighborhood,” he said. It was the first thing came to his mind. He was the worst liar in the world. He had to learn to remember what he said to keep his facts straight.
“Be a nice wife, go back home and I will handle this,” he hissed at her.
There was movement ahead he hoped that lady took his advice as he ran toward the noise. This was going to be an interesting night. It might be weevil. He could tempt to scare it and capture it. He knew how to make a sneer and make a weevil back away. He could attempt to do that.

Sarah Jane was rarely left speechless, but there she was, mouth open, and nothing coming out.
She was unused to such casual reception of her demands. Quite cheeky indeed, though she was impressed by his metal in that.
There was a sound, and suddenly she was watching the man run toward it. Sarah Jane ran after, hoping to keep the man from killing it.
He seemed the type.

Night had fallen, and she found herself getting cold. There was no denying it, someone had to have caught on to her by now. She cursed inwardly in her native language for not having grabbed a ship with camouflage settings on it. Perhaps there was a perception filter somewhere? She would have to figure that out if she ever returned to it. For now, she was trying to avoid being seen, or at least caught out. Luckily not many had approached her, at least not yet. She passed among the shadows, fearing that she had been caught. Since it was night, she had since turned off her device to get rid of that strange body she was in. It was then she observed a creature running in a certain direction but she stuck to the shadows, another creature, closer to her, came into the shadows.
Without thinking further on it, Sundosia saw this as her chance and shot her claws out, trying to wrap them around Sarah Jane, one hand attempting to go around her mouth so she could not make any noises that came from these creature's mouth, and the other wrapping around her stomach but standing to the side of her, since those legs looked like they could easily kick and knock her off balance. It was then Sundosia shifted her weight as she tried to take off with the creature back towards her ship. She was going to analyze this creature and see who they were, and maybe try to break the language barrier and find out what they are called.

She dropped her unlit torch on impact.
For a fraction of an instant, she thought somehow she'd run into a tree. It was dark after all. It seemed as though she'd taken a branch right to her mouth and her middle. It took her a full second to realize that the forest had not come alive and drawn her up onto a bear hug, but that some sort of creature had her and was dragging her along sideways.
Pressed hard against it, there was the sweet smell of grasshoppers in the sun. It felt like iron strong, thick bamboo in her mouth. Her hands reached up and caught that hard limb on either side of her mouth, doing her best to hold it off and succeeding not at all. There was not even enough slack to get her jaw to bite down with any force. If she could have brought herself to do so. She did not wish to succeed in biting into it. Her feet flailed to reach it, but side slung as she was held it was hard to make any contact at all.
She'd had her wind knocked out just a bit, half by surprise, half by force as the thing had grabbed her, and it took this long to draw enough air to scream, which she intended to do, muffled or not. For one instant then, lungs full, she stopped fighting, brains kicking in long enough to stop her.
It occurred to her that if she screamed it would bring soldier boy with his gun, and who was right next to the target? Sarah Jane did not scream, but small noises escaped her involuntarily as she resumed her struggle against this unexpectedly chaperoned drag through the woods, and fought against the panic that threatened to claim her.
Left wordless, she thought to her self with only a muffled moan escaping. "Oh, its one of the buggy ones."

He stopped in his tracks because he trying to figure where the alien was ahead. The air was different, it was quieter. The woman who was chasing him was not following him. He turned his body to see if he could see her. He did not see her but he saw the torch on the ground.
“Great, she fell,” he said to the cold air. He had a choice. Go after the alien or help a fallen lady. Stupid broad should have listened to him. He found himself walking back, picking up her torch. “I told…” he heard a soft muffled woman noise.
It was not a muffled noise, there was something else. Pointing the torch the direction he saw something. It could have been the alien that seemed to back track and grabbed the stubborn woman who was like a mule.
Moving through, he was holding the gun and torch very close. So he could see the alien with his gun. Yes, he needed the gun to feel he has confidence. Idiots go chasing alien unarmed. He saw her fighting a bug. Owen said a few bad words.
Aiming his weapon at the alien, he slowly tried to move after them. He had hoped there was one not more than one. God, if there was he would be a goner. He could shoot near the alien but that would make it do something that Owen would regret. It might kill the bold woman. He could shoot through her, and patch her up. So, he was attempted to do that many times and he would never dream doing it. It worked in the movies why not in real life. So he was following the creature and he was sure not hiding himself.
“You, ugly,” he yelled at tha alien. “You understand?” he asked waving his hand. “Do you understand this?” he pointed the gun and shot a tree. Okay, Owen had nothing against tree and he is not being green and saving Earth by recycle. He does throw trash away in public. He had wondered did this alien have brain cells to know that Owen has the power to kill it.
ooc Grammar might not be perfect but I had to equal my writing to yours. I do try to give respect. *snaps fingers* I got have respect. LOL

Grunts escaped Sundosia as she struggled to control the struggling creature. Obviously they were going to struggle, if only she had a way to subdue them, but everything was back at the ship. Her mandibles clacked together as she finally uttered a word, "Be still!" Though, to the human tongue, it would be foreign words. Great, just great, she heard the other creature approach and she gave a hiss to him in warning. While she was not sure what that was, it looked like a gun of sorts, and this was confirmed when he shot a nearby tree and spoke to her. Though his tongue was confusing, his message was still all too clear. A growl escaped her as she tried to shift her prisoner, and hold Sarah Jane more in front of her to serve as a shield. This was an advantage, surely this creature would not want to shoot the prisoner, would it?
The alien continued to try to drag Sarah Jane back to the ship, but she was going to have to lose the human somehow. Otherwise, she may have to just capture him too. That sounded like a good idea, two creatures for the price of one! Maybe one of them would be able to help her figure things out. She was not out to intentionally hurt anyone, but she would if she had to. Looking to the human, she tried to show that she did have a brain or two and understood what he was saying. This was shown when she simply tried to move Sarah Jane further up in front of her as a shield of sorts. While the alien did not see any use in trying to reason with the human, since, chances were, he would not understand her, she still tried to speak to him, "Stay back!" She barked as she headed back to where she left her ship.

Hostages, Owen did not like this situation. The fish head they met had done the hostage move in a family house. The stupid kid shot the family and was holding the woman for hostage. But, he was alone, or as he? He slowly looked around hoping that Jack Harkness will leap out of the dark and save the day. But he did not to be around. This was not good.
The bug was huge. It made him think of the parasite that was in Martha Jones. The alien seemed to unable to communicate.
He looked at the creature as it ordered him to stop. “Oh. You a defender of trees?” he said sarcastically. It was a dry joke. It was actually a stupid one.
“NO!” Owen yelled at the creature. The problem was this Owen was in a bad disadvantage; the bug had the upper hand. No, it had no hand. The man thought for a moment. It was capable to understand. It was not sure how quick this bug thinks. “What do you require?” he asked very slowly and he continued. “Don’t you say dinner because if you do, I will shoot YOU!” He moved closer aiming his gun at the head or near the head. “Do I make myself clear?”
