"What Bryan said, think of it as an ultimate swiss army knife." He said to the puzzled Jenny. "Me? It's a long story, but long story short, I followed someone here with a Vortex Manipulator, person breaks it, here I am, stuck with no TARDIS, and a now working sonic screwdriver... so, we were going to Torchwood? Come along Jenny" He said, realizing that he had read his mind.

Two things flashed through Jenny’s mind. One, what was a SWISS army knife and two… I thought my dad said that it wasn’t a weapon? Her father’s old friend was making her exceedingly nervous and she didn’t like all the information he was giving her that was conflicting with what The Doctor had told her. She decided that she didn’t like the idea that her father could be wrong about anything. She frowned, “come where? We aren’t carrying it across the city are we?” She grinned at Bryan. “Might be a good idea to use your communications device to get us and it out of here… ” she said and then suddenly added as an almost forgotten after thought, “… and my ship! Someone is bound to notice that mess sooner or later.” She glanced back at the way they had come.

"Yeah, Torchwood," Bryan said, knowing that he mentioned it earlier. "I can call a cab and see if they'll allow us to transport it that way." He got out his phone and dialed a number. While it was ringing, he said to Jenny, "Torchwood should have it handled by now. They'll be bringing it in, most likely. I'll inform them that you're just passing through." He looked at the General. "You ought to see about disappearing. If they find out you're alien, they're bound to try to bring you in for questioning." Being half-alien himself, he was a little sympathetic to other non-humans, that is until they tried to kill him or his team, then it was personal.

"Ship? Now, that, I have to see." He said to Jenny, "I might be able to fix it, now my sonic screwdriver works, or we could at least salvage somethng from it that works, it might make it much easier to carry this thing."

Jenny smiled, “that’s fantastic,” she said, hoping that they found whatever had broken apart from the ship as well… if it was important. She watched with curiously at the small device within his hand and then glanced at the General as he mentioned her ship. “there really isn’t much to see anymore… except the destruction it brought when it made impact with half of the trees in that place back there, and if Bryan is right, it isn’t there anymore. I’m sure it could be fixed given some time and parts. It isn’t the first rough landing I have put her through.”

Bryan frowned, not liking this. He might get in some deep trouble if they started anything. If they went free-lance, they might get into trouble. And if they got in trouble... He didn't want to think it. "It might be better if you didn't."

"Bryan, you don't have to come, neither do you Jenny, with this working," He said, holding up his sonc screwdriver, "I should be able to fix it easy, I'm sure I'll find my own way in."

Jenny sighed deeply, “Unless that thing has a blowtorch function and a titanium replacement function I don’t think it is going to work very well.” She remembered what her father had done with his sonic screwdriver and it looked to be better at opening things and fixing computer and mechanical systems as oppose to rebuilding the outer shell of a space shuttle. She also didn’t like the emotional output that Bryan was giving off and she thought it better if she tried to talk some sense in the General. Getting caught trying to fix something she may not even need would be a senseless waste of time, energy, and resources. Not to mention ticking off what was starting to sound like a potentially dangerous and volatile organization. She had a feeling that no matter what she said the General would still try and seek out her ship and tinker with it. She hoped he wouldn’t, but she hoped as well that if he did that he wouldn’t get caught.

"I'm sure I'll be able to salvage something from it," He said to the obviously worried looking Jenny, "Bryan, can you give me some sort of, visitor's pass to get me in? I'll probably be there for a while, ya know, I don't want you and Jenny standing around, while I ramble to myself about something or other."

Bryn made a face, turning the idea around in his head. "They usually don't let in visitors, at least not without giving them Retcon right after they leave. Can't have people blabbing, after all. They aren't exactly going to be very happy about bringing visitors. I thought that maybe if I brought Jenny, since her ship is crashed over that way that maybe I could justify it. I don't know how well they will take me bringing you along as well."

"Well...i'll carry the creature, it's fairly heavy, especially over how ever many miles it is to T Wood, I don't think people will take to kindly to a giant, reptilian monster on the subway gives me a reason, hopefully the space ship will still be there when I cone back," He said to Bryan, "Oh, Jenny, the subway is an underground transport system, it uses rails."

Jenny frowned slightly, feeling impatience and a certain amount of restlessness building within her. She wanted to get her ship fixed and continue on her way to finding her father. “Whatever we are doing, we need to do it before someone noticed the body here.” She was fairly certain that a body laying on the ground surrounded by people was something that would get noticed eventually.

Bryan sighed. "I could still cal that cab and see if they can strap it to the top. You'd be surprised what you can convince people. I once told a guy that this Weevil I caught was a drunk guy in a mask." He laughed a bit at teh memory.

"Huh, humans, gotta love 'em." The General said, "well, hold on." He pressed a button on the sphere on the monsters head, and it went floppy, "This will make it a bit easier, you better call this cab, this guy's heavy." He said to Bryan.

Bryan nodded and dialed for a cab. "Hello, I need a cab... Three people, but I need to ask you a question... Will you allow us to take a rather large item with us?" He looked at the creature, making a strange face, then answered, "A stuffed prop for an independent sci-fi film... Yeah..." Bryan sighed and held the phone away from his ear, the woman's laughter clear on the other end of the call.
