"It's a drug Torchwood uses, makes you forget," Bryan said. "But I can try to replace it with a sugar pill or something." She noticed how she brightened up at the mention of the Doctor. "You know him? The Doctor?" He looked over at the road nearby. "I should get Torchwood out here to secure the area, make it so that you can get your ship fixed. They'll probably want to move it and replace it with a meteorite or something."

“Yes… I know The Doctor,” She said, not sure just how much to divulge to this person. But for now, the knowledge that she did indeed know him would suffice. “Well then, Torchwood it is. Led the way,” She said grateful that she may be able to get some answers concerning, what happened, how it happened, where she was, and where her dad, Donna, and Martha could be.

Bryan smiled and nodded. "Alright. I'll see if I can get the team keep the ship away from further harm." He started leading her down the road, toward Cardiff Bay, toward Millennium Centre, the waterfall in the plaza. "Who knows, maybe the team will be too busy with the site to question what we're doing in Torchwood."

He walked and she followed, looking with a certain amount of curiosity the entire way. It was so different then the underground complex of which she had been born. And even though she had spent nearly a year in space, and that was mostly what it consisted of. Her, cruising around space in a borrowed ship and landing on space stations and the occasional planet. But never, anywhere with this much open space, this much green.
The feeling was intoxicating and she couldn’t help but to smile. She thought about the rift. And couldn’t help but to wonder - If my dad travel’s through time and space and the rift is part of that, could I have brought myself here through it? Is it possible to manipulate it and bring things through on purpose? It was something that began to bother her and it was just one more question about herself that she didn’t know.
“Can this Rift be use to bring something through on purpose?” She asked. After all she had been looking for her father and this Rift seemed to have been the one to bring her a tantalizing step closer to finding him.

He looked her and considered her question. "I don't know, I don't think we've tried. I suppose it's possible, but it has to be a bit risky. I mean, imagine that the Rift is like two peaces of fabric sewed together loosely. No, all the things in Time and Space goes on top of that in the form of sand, over the seam, and a few things fall through. Now, if you tried to reach in and bring out a single grain, one of the threads might snap and everything would come through at once." He then shrugged. "But that's just a theory."

She tried not to panic, what if I brought something else through, what if something came through the other way and it is trapped in the vacuum of space, what if my dad finds out and he gets angry with me? She could almost hear his voice now … and Jenny, don’t rip anything or anyone through time and space and leave it to die in the vacuum of deep space. She grimaced at the thought.
So many unanswered questions… However the way he spoke it was as if he was referring to taking something from the Rift as oppose to bringing one’s self through it. She wasn’t sure she wanted to think on the subject anymore. It brought with it more questions than answers. But one thing was for certain, until she knew for sure, until she found her father, the Rift was one anomaly she felt she should stay clear of.
“So it may not be impossible, just a bit unlikely,” she muttered, not liking where her thoughts had lead her.

Bryan nodded, noting how in-her-own-head she was. "So, you didn't come here on purpose. I don't know whether to consider it a relief or a blessing." He looked at her with a smirk. "Like I said before, usually it isn't the pretty ones that slip through."

The sound of his voice brought her back out of her impending dark thoughts. “I thought you said they weren’t human looking, not that they weren’t pretty?” She said with a smile and a small laugh. She had never thought much on her appearance but then now that she thought about it, the way Cline had acted on occasion… “So, how far is this Torchwood Bryan?” She asked continuing her following of this strange being on this strange new world.

"Maybe I didn't, but I've said it now." Bryan looked ahead. "It's closer to the other side of the city, but I could see about us getting a ride. Shouldn't be too hard to phone for a taxi this late. That is, unless you want to walk the whole way with that abrasion."

Jenny had no idea what he meant by a phone or a taxi, but she assumed that it had something to do with ground transport. She was also finding herself becoming impatient with finding out the answer to questions that Torchwood may have answers for. “I am assuming that a taxi is some sort of ground transport?” She asked with a smile. Deciding that if a taxi was ground transport ,then a phone must be some sort of communications device.

Bryan looked at Jenny, first a bit confused. "What? Oh, that's right, not from Earth. Yeah, a taxi, also called a cab or taxicab, is a vehicle which you pay to be transported by. And a phone, a telephone, is a communication device. In this case, I would be using my mobile telephone to contact a taxi company so that they can sent a taxi to us and take us where we want to go." He smiled at her. "When we get there of course, I will have to pay a fee according to how far the taxi had to take us."

Everything was so strange. There had never been anything in her short life to compare it to. “Such a brilliant and yet odd world you live in Bryan, “she said. Then she glanced up to look at the night sky and the strange vaporous anomalies that seemed to float across the sky.

Bryan smiled. "Yeah, it really is a bit odd." He couldn't help a small chuckle at that. It always seems to take someone else's point of view to show you things about your own world, but it really wasn't his world. He didn't consider it that. He followed her gaze up at the clouds. "Those are clouds. They're uh, if I remember the water cycle correctly, they're collections of water vapor and very small traces of other elements and molecules."

“Brilliant,” she said brightly. “I’ve never seen anything like them.” But then everything was new. One of the vaporous clouds passed over what appeared to be the planets singular moon and she turned away to watch in interest where she was being led.
(Have you reached that decision yet? lol)

((Yeah sure, why not?)) The General looked out of a window of the bus, watching the city pass by him, he had been here, on Earth, for a while now, 2 years if he remembered rightly, he looked at his ring, glowing a dull green, it wasn't a ring really, it was an inversion coil, filled with the energy of his previous regeneration. The last time he used it, time was breaking, but everything was fine, for now at least. The bus stopped to pick some people up, they looked drunk.
He had been learning about Earth ever since his Vortex Manipulator broke, and he waited for the Doctor, but, strangely enough, he hadn't picked up his signal, he said he visited here often....
He got up at the next stop, and started to walk to his apartment, he walked up the stairs, and unlocked his door, throwing his coat on the floor, he sat on the lounge, turning on the television, and started surfing through the channels, as he was about to go to sleep, he thought he saw something outside, almost like a dinosaur, he went out to investigate, better to be safe than sorry.
