Alec Harrison parked his Tardis in the street after spotting a blue box. He jumped out to find it was a beat-up trailer wagon painted black. "Oh, come on, you've done better than this!" he said to his Tardis. He might've seemed like a lunatic to anyone watching, but he didn't care. "Doctor!" he said, upon spotting him.
He ran to his side, putting a hand over his hat to keep it from flying off. He glanced at Jenny. "Well of course he is. Who are you?"

'The Doctor', as he now exclaimed himself to be, was whirling around and speaking so fast that Adagio could not help but to reach out, grab him, and try to get him to stay still for a moment.
"Slow down a second cowboy. I wasn't born in 1984, I'm only twenty-five."
Letting The Doctor go, Adagio turned to look at the newest person in their group and simply went silent again when she said that this man was not who he said to be. Everyone except Adagio seemed to know who everyone else was. It was getting a bit weird really.
"Okay okay, lets start all this over. My names Adagio, you're name's The Doctor. I thought his name was Robin, it could be anything for all I know, and who are you?"
Pointing at each person in turn, Adagio stepped away from the group slightly. Now she really wished John was here. Then at least she would know one person who was actually who they introduced themselves as.
Them, another man came in and Adagio rolled her eyes. Who the hell were these people and where the hell were they coming from.
"Woah, where did you come from? Do you have a Tardis too or do you just lay in wait for social gatherings?"
She was being sarcastic, her typical protection mechanism.

Alec grinned. "Of course I have a Tardis, what do you take me for, the Doctor's friend? I'm a Timelord." he said. He elbowed the Doctor a bit harder than he intended. "I guess you could say I don't hate him on his good days."

Jenny turned and looked him in the eyes. “Your eleventh what? A fez what?” she said questioningly. She had always thought that her dad talked weird and said things that she didn’t always understand, but this person, he couldn’t be her dad. He didn’t look like him or sound like him. But it bothered her that he knew her name. Not for the first time she decided that there were a lot of telepathic people on this planet and he was just reading her thoughts. Another man came running up and started getting overly excited. Jenny decided that this man might just be a doctor and not The Doctor and that the people of this world didn’t know the difference. Jenny looked at the woman in sympathy and shifted herself closer to her then the others. “I don’t know any of these guys either. Must be another doctor,” she said.
"and the Time Lords are all dead."

Alec rolled his eyes. "Than how could I have this?" he asked. He pulled out his sonic screwdriver and fired it off to show it worked. "I survived. Drifted through a crack in time back when the Doctor restarted the universe, by the way, never do that again, Doctor." he said quickly.
He pointed his sonic at Jenny and waved it in a scanning motion. "Interesting. The Doctor must have had his DNA extradite and used to create you. Two hearts alright. Timelords can regenerate, or change anatomically completely when they're dying, as a way of cheating death. Doc here's done it ten times, bless his heart. You probably can't though, because of your...half breed...ness."

"I am the Doctor. I am a Time Lord. When we die, we reincarnate. Change our faces, personalities. But we retain our old memories. For instance, I know you were created from my DNA. You were born on the planet Messaline, created by a cloning machine.I am The Doctor, last of the Time Lords. And if you don't believe me, look. There's my TARDIS. And I wear a Bow-tie now. Bow-ties are cool."
The Doctor indicated towards his TARDIS.

Still looking around rather confused, Adagio stepped further away from Jenny and simply put her hands up in defeat.
"Maybe I should just go on my way. The only things I know about time and space travel I learned from Captain John Hart. Do any of you now him by chance?"
It was a very hopeful question, but at this point Adagio could not be surprised if at least one of these people knew him. After all, she seemed to be in the middle of a time and relative dimensions in space convention.
As Adagio backed up she ended up hitting against the Doctor's Tardis and was surprised to feel that the side of it was rather warm. Not hot warm like something overheating, but more like body temperature warm. Intriguing...

Jenny felt a wave of anger; she was not a half anything. She was her father’s daughter in more ways than one. Just because she was created on a planet of humans and hath didn’t mean she was a part of them. “I died once,” she said sternly,” but I never changed my appearance.” The sonic screwdriver meant little to her and it really didn’t prove anything to her. It was just another piece of alien tech.
Jenny felt confused and angry and off balance with everything she knew or didn’t know. If her dad knew that she would come back to life, then why did he abandon her on that planet? She thought as her face became stony and unreadable. “What is a TARDIS?” She asked, having never heard her father mentioned it or any of this before.

Alec nodded. "Ah, yes, John. I went to a bar with him once, only time I ever got so drunk in all my lives." he laughed.

"Agh..no easy way to do this..."
The Doctor grabbed Jenny's head, and promptly whacked it against his own, transferring his memories into her. He reeled back, half-stunned from the force of impact. "OK. Never, NEVER doing that again."

Jenny threw up her hands in agitation and backed away from the strange group. Nothing about them made sense. This couldn’t be the same man that held her in his arms as she lay dying from the gunshot wound that should have ended her.
Questions came to her mind and she wasn’t so sure she wanted to know all the answers, especially from this group, and were was Donna? The human that was more a mother to her then anyone. If this was truly The Doctor then wouldn’t either Donna or Martha be with him?
Just as she was ready to leave the group… getting as far away as possible in fact. Leaving the planet even, the man claiming to be her father grabbed a hold of her head and smacked them together.
Normally Jenny would have probably clobbered him on the spot… and hurt him. But the transfer of memories stopped her. She saw what happened to Donna and it was a fate worse than death. “You left me there when you knew there was a possibility I could come back to life?” She looked at him in disbelief.
It was really too much information for a being that was little more than a year old to really handle properly. It made her head almost spin with chaotic information and she grew silent and still as she let her mind make sense of it all.

Smiling slightly, Adagio made herself a little more comfortable against the Tardis.
"Sounds like John."
Adagio's smile quickly faded when she suddenly saw the Doctor bash his head against the girl she had heard was called Jenny. Looking at the Doctor strangely, Adagio closed her eyes before opening them again.
"That seriously just happened? Yeah, I think I need to leave this space fest. Wouldn't want to get my head crushed."
Adagio was about to push off of the Tardis when she felt it move slightly. It was weird really, but also quite interesting. So, instead of paying attention to the space convention that was going on in front of her, she turned her back on the group and inspected the Tardis. When she had traveled with John they went because of his Vortex Manipulator, the idea of traveling in something more concrete sounded quite nice.

Throughout all of this, Robin had been standing silently, a look of mingled shock and confusion on his face. "How? Why?"
The door to the hall opened. "What is all of this? Who are you people?" a strident voice - the voice of the mother of the bride - demanded.
Robin spun on his heel. "It is none of your concern," he snarled, "you shrieking, leather-faced harpy!"
She looked shocked and offended. "Well, I never! I shall summon the police!"
"Do so, then!" he snapped. "But do it away from us!"
She started to speak, mouthing words, then slammed the door.
Robin spun around again. "Now, first things first. Doctor: I was trying to have a pleasant evening of music and conversation. And possibly setting in motion a chain of events that would lead to Earth's first manned voyage to Mars taking place some thirty years early. I hadn't decided that, yet."
He looked at the two newcomers. "Second: you two. I have no idea who you are - Time Lords, apparently." He grimaced. "The Moment must have been far more flawed than I thought. But I do have to ask - and this may be entirely rhetorical - why are you wandering the streets of Cardiff at eleven at night?"
He took a deep breath, computed a few sixteenth roots to calm himself, then walked past the three Time Lords to stand close to Adagio. He started to speak, looked a little sheepish, and tried again. "Where do I start?" he wondered.
A deep breath. "I know 'Sir Space Doctor', because we've met a few times over the years. 'Friends' might be stretching the term, but we've gotten along better over the years."
He glanced back at the unexpected group. "I have no idea who these others are, although I think - if I heard him right - that the blonde is the Doctor's daughter."
He looked back at Adagio. "I also know a time traveler named John Hart - roguish fellow, wears a lobsterback's coat and carries a sword? Yeah, I thought so. I had a bit of a rebound fling with him, a few years back. Now, if you're still interested, I'm thinking A Shot In The Dark is still open."

Alec decided to answer all of Robins quetions at once. "It's his fault." he said, finger outstretched at the Doctor.
He just stood there for a second, then realized he wasn't making any progress. "Ok, I got through the Moment because I was busy at the time when the War came about. If you want to know why I wander around so aimlessly at night, it's because my Tardis doesn't have any sense of human time, so every other year I'm more or less nocturnal."
He backed up and leaned against a wall, a spoke up again before anyone could answer. "The Doctor leaves everyone, kid. I forgot what happened to dear Martha, but if I'm correct about Rose..."

Still inspecting the Tardis Adagio heard Robin take hold of the situation but did not bother to look back at him. It felt nice to know that she was not the only one who did not know everyone else.
When Robin told off the mother of the bride Adagio turned around quickly to watch before bursting out laughing. The pure look of horror on the woman's face made up for all the crap she had put Adagio through over the whole night.
However, when Robin came over to her Adagio put her back against the Tardis again and waited. She was glad he had the sense to look sheepish, but she still was not sure if she should really believe all he said.
However, when he mentioned how he knew John, or more specifically, how he had had a fling with John, Adagio simply smiled and rolled her eyes.
"Yep, that's my John."
Biting her lip for a moment she looked at Robin again before speaking.
"So, is your name even Robin? I mean, at this point a drink sounds pretty nice to clear my head either way, but I'd prefer to know the name of the person I'll be going with."
Everyone around Adagio was pretty strange, but she really did not mind too much. This weird conglomeration of space travelers beat the horrible wedding party that she might have to return to. Well, she kind of doubted she would be going back inside anyways.
