(thanks  ) Grateful for his friend's thoughtfulness, Tyler allowed himself to be led away from the others to a corner so that his best friend could take a look at his arm. As the Guitarist had asked to see his arm, he had nodded, not resisting at all when the Guitarist had taken a hold of his arm. He had cried out in pain when the Guitarist had found the break. Although Tyler had expected the Guitarist to possibly find a break, he hadn't been expecting the degree to which it would hurt. As soon as he realized he was screaming, he shut his mouth. He didn't want to draw attention to himself, nor did he want anyone making him go to the Gallifreyan hospital before third period. If Tyler didn't show for the confrontation with the Mentalist, the Mentalist would probably take it out on his brother or his friends. He didn't want that...he couldn't let anything happen to them. He began to sob -- the pain being intense. He really hoped that his brother was too engaged with his own fight to have paid Tyler any notice. Trying to hold in the pain, Tyler forced himself to stop crying. He bit his lip, and whimpered a bit before finally going silent. |

Thete grinned, showing a lot of teeth. "Of course you have a mum," he drawled. "Your dad rents her. Hourly. That's the only way anyone would put up with him. Or with you, for that matter."

He looks surprised, Koschei thought. That makes sense, given the way most people seem to react to him.
"Don't feel you have to accept, if it would embarrass you," Koschei continued. "But, since I knocked your last cigarette out of your hand, it seems like replacing it would be the decent thing to do."
He considered the matter for a moment. "I've got classes right now, so I can't do it right away..." His eyes lit up. "I know! I've got a study hall during third period. We could meet right after Applied Chronodynamics, and pick them up then. What do you say?"

Eiougougol's face grew red, a wave of anger passing across his features. "How dare you insult my parents like that....you....you.....you...." he paused as he searched for the most insulting word that he could come up with. "You human!"
Eiougougol had recently learned about several other planets in one of his classes. He didn't normally pay much attention, but that class had proven to be useful in learning insults. Gallifreyans thought themselves to be superior to every other species. Humans, he had learned, were inferior and stupid. His ears had perked up at this particular species because his father had informed him that Theta's mother had been one. Eiougougol had been told by his father that he didn't think that Theta or Tyler knew this, and he wasn't supposed to tell them.

"Maybe I am," Thete said, the humorless grin still on his face, "but at least I'm not asking my father about group rates."

Eiougougol narrowed his eyes, smirking at Theta. "Well, at least you admit that you're human....you shouldn't even be here, you know. It should be illegal for your kind to be on Gallifrey. I'm surprised that no one has killed you yet."

Flynn Delta walked down the hall reading book one of the "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" series, he was so wrapped up in his book that he failed to notice he was about to walk straight into Eiougougol... Thud!
He hit the floor with a loud thud, "Ow, what hit me?" He asked as sat up. He looked around and tried to gather his bearings and figure out what he had just walked into.

A sudden force knocked Eiougougol to the floor. As he looked up to see what had run into him, he saw another student, Flynn lying on the floor as well. Embarrassed, he quickly picked himself off the floor, his attention momentarily diverted from Theta.
Eiougougol glared at Flynn, "Watch where you're going, idiot."
Had it been anyone else, Eiougougol would have taken off his sweater to pretend to dust off the "filth" of someone from another class. However, Flynn was in the same social class as Eiougougol, both of their fathers being important members of the High Council.

Flynn got up, then glared at Eiougougol refusing to be intimidated.
"Maybe, if you didn't stand in the middle of the hallway, people wouldn't walk into you, you moronic oaf."
Flynn would normally be more polite, he had heard Eiougougol often insulted the human race, one of Flynn's favorite species, for their literary works, he also knew that Eiougougol considered him self better than his peers just because his father, not unlike Flynn's father had a seat on the high council.

Eiougougol's face turned red. "What do you expect me to do? Climb the wall so that I can have a conversation with someone? No, you need to watch where you're going. People talk in the hallway all the time. I was talking to Theta...oh...and Tyler was just here. You should have seen his arm."
Eiougougol wanted to be on Flynn's good side. Perhaps he could "convert" him into his own group of friends. The rich and powerful should stick together, after all. Koschei had had embarrassed himself by choosing Theta as a best friend. But then Koschei's father wasn't on the High Council. He would have to talk to Flynn in private sometime -- make sure they were on the same page.

Flynn smirked "why don't you? that probably be a better use of everyone's time, don't you agree Theta?"
Flynn had heard about Theta from his father, he knew that theta was half human, but he didn't care its not like being part human made him diseased or something, to Flynn i meant that he wasn't pure timelord, he was mixture of 2 great races.

Eiougougol glared at Flynn once more. "You know, Flynn, that climbing a wall isn't possible. I heard that Theta was just barely passing....no wonder, his father is an idiot and so is he....his dad's just a simple landscaper, and nobody of any importance. I don't even know how he made it into the Academy. Theta's opinion can't be trusted."
Eiougougol noted the way that Flynn seemed to be looking at Theta in fascination. He needed to break that right now. Perhaps Flynn didn't know that Theta's blood was tainted, or that his father was low class...and that Theta, by association, was low class. Could he know that Theta's mother was a human? If he did, why didn't Flynn look at him with disgust? All the Gallifreyans that he knew thought other species, especially something as primitive as a human, was far beneath a Time Lord.

Eiougougol sent Flynn a nasty look. "I'm still trying to talk to Theta. Why don't you go to class yourself? My class isn't far away at all. I heard Theta's dirty mouth all the way from my classroom. You and I should talk later, Flynn...."
He tried to give Flynn a winning smile. "We have much to talk about."

flynn picked up his books before heading to his class, it was a 2 minute walk and he didn't want to be late on his first day
"what an arrogant jerk" flynn thought to himself "hopefully i'll get to talk to theta later"
