She finished her tirade, the Alien looming over her quite menacingly, and herself poised to dodge any swipe made at her. Sarah's heart was pounding. That phantom icepick tapped at the sore spot on her head in time with it.
The Torchwood man was suddenly between her and the alarming Bug. “Come on, red mistress!” he said, voice rough with the moment, or with being dead, she did not know. He reached for her on his way past, and she let go of the stability of the cell bars in an instant to rely instead on the stability of his arm which she clung with both of hers. His arm felt strong and cool through his jacket. She let herself be swept along with him, trusting him without a second thought.

There was nothing she could do now but to fight. She was not about to let them take her, and she was not about to let them take her ship. She saw something coming to the side of her, and she moved a blade to thrust it towards Jack, stepping forward and aiming the blade towards his gut. Her other blade withdrew back into her wrist as her clawed hand grabbed a gun. She was prepared to fight, prepared to do everything she could to try to keep one of them, but knew that if all else failed, she would have to drive them out to protect herself and her ship. Her gun was ready, and she brought it over and opened fire at the same time as she stabbed at Jack. Her eyes spotted a table she could use to try to cover herself if need be.
Planet: Earth Form: Valia Music: N/A Notes: You guys can hurt her, but all I ask is you do not kill her. Let the fight begin! Also, sorry my posts sucks, I didn't want to do too much without giving you guys a chance to respond and sorry it took so long, some things happened beyond my control where I had to take a quick leave, but I'm back now!

K-9 did what K-9 was programmed to do; he took aim and fired a burst of brilliant red laser fire at the attacking alien. He went for her blade, hoping that he would damage it enough to make it useless as a weapon. Though he had no problems with completely destroying the alien threat he knew the Sarah Jane and The Doctor both would feel differently about the situation. However if it became necessary he would destroy her.

Owen would had let Sarah behind and be alien meat. But it was good she did not resist. Owen hated woman who gave a fight. As he was pulling he saw the alien shoot Jack. That was bloody normal for Jack. He quickly pulled Sarah out. She was in bad shape. The light from the moon and the stars had allowed Owen see how bad she was.
The woman was older looking too. God she was old enough to be his own mother. By the way, Sarah would make a great mother because she was protective. He paused, “Hold on,” he said, looking at her. He saw she was in worse shape. There was all lot of blood from her head. That hit against the wall. How was she staying on her feet?
“****!” he said, under his breath, if he had one. “Come on,” he said, moving to her side. He was being stupid because he knew she took a good beating. “You should have run when I told you!” he had pulled her up on his body, taking her weight on to him. “Use my body for support. Pray we hear no snap.” He meant it.
“We need to get you in the clear,” he told her. “I am surprise I had not lost you.” He looked around for the Torchwood truck. He could not see it. They might have to move through the area they came through.
"And where did you get robo-dog from?" he asked.

Letting her grip on the Torchwood man slip down until she had put her hand into his, she looked back over her shoulder and saw the Mad Scientist Alien stab right through Jack with the blade K-9 had not blasted off. It was clear the Captain was wanting to draw the beast into his own direction, instead of shooting it and sending it toward the retreating pair. It was horrible to see, but she knew that K-9 and Jack could get each other through this, she would only slow them down right now.
The Torchwood man lead them hastily out into the welcome cool moonlight, then stopped, frowning back at her. "Hold on." he said, and frowned at her more.
Well, she knew she didn't look her best right now. Part of her agelessness was her youthful, fluid posture. Right now she couldn't stand up quite straight, slumping a little against the hitch in her side. Usually Sarah could run a very long while without getting a hitch in her side, but she'd had a rough night. No doubt she was most likely half green with the vertigo that still rocked the world around her as well.
"I look better than you." She said in response to his close examination. She gave a little wink and a hint of a smile to show him she is terribly teasing him.
"Come on." He said, tucking in close to her. She hooked an arm around his neck and leaned heavily against him. "You should have run when I told you!” He accused as they began making their way into the wood at a pretty good clip.
"I should have fetched Jack . . .or K-9. . . I'm sorry. I thought I could just . . . . " she was taking deep, deliberate breaths to ease that ache in her side.
Behind them, she heard something terrible and found her feet wanting to go back to Captain Jack and K-9, wanting to go help them. Or even the Bug if they were just slaughtering it. The Torchwood man took a steady line and a firm stride.
“We need to get you in the clear-” He explained as he tugged her back on course. She knew he was right and made herself wrench her focus ahead instead of behind and whatever was happening in the spaceship. She concentrated on keeping her feet and moving them forward with haste, leaning heavily on the man. "The Doctor gave K-9 to me - -****!" she said then cursed, using the exact same swearword the Torchwood Man had. That hitch in her side suddenly became a stitch. She let go of Owen, and tried to breath through it. When she did, it suddenly felt like someone was trying to crank her ribs all the way down to her hip bone.
No air, that moment, but she refused to panic. She also refused to fall. Instead of dive bombing, she sank in a controlled fashion to crouch almost like a sprinter getting ready to run, though she had her hips tucked under her. She balanced on one knee and the balls of her feet, one hand pressed to the ground. Curled there, she could take a breath, however inadequate and painful.
From her pocket she took out the man's gun that she'd picked up in the woods. It felt like it had left a dent in her when she hit the wall, but at least it had not gone off. Now she removed it as though it were the cause of her pain, and held it out to the man with all the distaste of someone with a dead rat by the tail. One slow breath at a time, hiding the pain on her face in the fall of her dark hair, she waited for this spasm or whatever it is to pass. In the midst of this struggle, her Detector Watch beeped a little. Something was coming. Sarah Jane forced herself to stand. Something in her chest made an unfortunate cracking sound.
A bubbly painful cough came from her, and when she looked up at the Torchwood agent, her face was terribly pale and there was blood on her lips.
"Something's coming." She whispered raggedly.

Rani was shut inside getting ready for bed. Since Sarah Jane had not called back yet, Rani assumed she was busy. So Rani was watching cartoons, oblivious to what was happening outside. When the cartoon finished, Rani switched off the TV. Since her parents had gone to bed now, Rani thought it was best that she went to bed to. So she said goodnight to Sam Lloyd on her phone (they had been texting, since he was Earth right now) and she walked upstairs to sleep. She was slightly tired, and so she just brushed her hair and got into bed, settling down and closing her eyes, still unable to see or hear the commotion that was going on outside her room. After a while, she fell asleep. ((Just thought I'd make sure Rani was out for the count, so that they had no worry of her coming out and seeing what was going on))

Gwen had been in her apartment, curled up with Rhys on their sofa. A light smile had crept upon her lips as she smiled up at Rhys, resting her chin on his shoulder.
"Isn't this nice? No Torchwood... no aliens... just you, me, and the tele."
"I wish it was like this more often, you know. Doing normal couple stuff like normal couples."
She laughed a bit and lightly held his chin, pulling his face towards hers. "Yes, but it only makes the small moment sweeter, doesn't it?" Their lips locked in a short, but sweet kiss. It was quickly interrupted however, by a buzzing in Gwen's pocket. She flicked it open, only to see the Caller ID; Torchwood. Rhys noticed it too and groaned.
"Oh, god Rhys I'm sorry! But I have to go to work!" She quickly got up from the couch, sliding her shoes on in an almost simultaneous motion. Then she remembered something.
"Also, uhm, Owen actually took the car today so I'll need to borrow yours!" Rhys groaned again, letting his head fall back on the couch cushion behind him. Gwen was pulling her right arm through her jacket and grabbing Rhys's keys from the table. "I know, I know! You can yell at me when I get back I promise!" She rushed back over to him, and bent down to give him another kiss. "I really do love you, you know." In a flash, she had left the apartment and was dashing to the parking garage.
Once in Rhys's car, she flicked open her phone again. It showed a map of Britain with a bleeping red dot on it. She was glad now that she had gotten the Torchwood software update on her phone, because with everyone out of the hub she'd never have gotten this alert. According to Jack's wrist strap thing -- Gwen didn't have a proper name for it -- his heart rate was elevated, and not only that, there was an alien life-form in its vicinity.
"Okay, phone. Let's go. Directions?"
A cool, automated female voice talked from her phone. "Leave parking garage."
"I bloody well know that, don't I?" She peeled out of the driveway, and sped down the street.
After a considerable amount of time driving, she reached a suburban neighborhood. She followed the phone's directions until she reached a dead end. It told her to exit the car. "Well, I guess it's time for a search, isn't it? She left the car, placing the phone in her pocket and her gun in her waistband. The phone began beeping like a sonar to indicate how close she was to her target. She set off into the woods.
As she walked through the thickets, she heard a beeping different from the one emanating from her phone. She thought she heard a voice in the distance. "Something's coming." She began to go in the direction of the voice, and came upon a welcome sight. "Well, there you are then, Owen. Always tearing off without an explanation, aren't we?"
Gwen then noticed the woman standing next to Owen. Sarah Jane, alien investigator and, as far as Gwen was concerned, just as good if not better than any Torchwood operative. She seemed badly hurt, and was holding a gun in her hand as if it was disgusting on the same level as a severed human hand. "Easy Sarah," Gwen said, crouching next to her and helping her down to the ground to rest. "We'll need to get you back to the hub so Owen can take a look at you. And we should do that fast..." That's when Gwen noticed the mechanism on Sarah Jane's wrist, similar to a watch. It was beeping. "What exactly is that supposed to tell us?" she said, gesturing to the watch like device. Gwen looked around the wooded area a bit more.
"And where's Jack?"

Down she went, expecting to go hard with Owen busy looking up for their intruders no doubt. To bad the sensor wasn't set to detect humans, or she would have know Gwen was coming. She recognized the woman's voice as soon as she heard it, she could see their faces looming unfocused over her. Her labored shallow breath makes a terrible sucking sound. Her fast pulse roared in her ears.
"Owen." she said. "Can't-" another bubble of blood appeared dark in the night at the corner of her mouth. Her lips said 'breath', but there was no sound.
Except perhaps the approaching Weevils.

Sarah Jane was going down for the count. Gwen was not going to let that happen. "C'mon Sarah Jane. You've fought Slitheen and Werewolves and who knows what else?! You are not dying here!"
Suddenly, Gwen heard snarls and growls around them. The unmistakable sounds of weevils.
"Owen, help her! Let me take care of this." Taking the gun she had just pulled from Sarah Jane's hand, and the one that had been in her own waistband, she held them out in either direction, ready for the weevils.
The first one appeared out of the dark of the wood. Gwen winced, knowing what she'd have to do. With so many weevils around them, no weevil spray with her, and a dying woman on the ground beside her, Gwen had only one choice.
There was a bang, and the soft clinking of a bullet casing falling on the ground. Shortly after, the louder thumping of a body hitting the ground. The weevil was dead. Two more appeared, accompanied by two more of the same progression of sounds.
Then four appeared, all running towards them. Gwen dispatched the first two, shot the third one, but by that time the fourth had reached her. It was able to scratch her face, but that's as far as it got before she smacked the weevil with the butt of one of her guns, and shot it with the other.
She was confident in her abilities, but more were coming.

Right, he had placed Sarah’s head down. He was looking at her
"Owen, help her! Let me take care of this.
Owen watched Gwen run after the Weevils. “Gwen, don’t!” he saw the blasting light of her guns. “Weevil King here,” he sighed, looking down at Sarah. He unbuttoned her top. Owen could see her broken rib.
“GWEN!”
Another shot was heard. “They are least worries,” he yelled at her.
“We need to get her back to Torchwood,” he said, bending down dragging Sarah by the back her collar. “Sarah, stay with us, luv,” he said. “Sorry, we need to move you.” He pulled her toward Ryhs car. “

"Sarah, stay with us luv. Sorry, we need to move you." Owen was pulling Sarah towards Rhys's car. Gwen continued to fire at the Weevils, now hoping to scare them off. Owen may have been the Weevil King, but she didn't like them being around a dying woman at all.
Gwen tossed a gun to Owen, hoping his reflexes were fast enough to catch it. Her phone was still beeping, now alerting her proximity to Jack's wristband. "Oi! Owen! Take care of her! I need to go get Jack!"
Gwen tore off into the woods, following her phone's beeping, and shooting at the Weevils that now, seeing that she was not with Owen, were chasing after her.

Gwen was running through the woods, when she saw a sight for sore eyes. The S.U.V was all bright and shiny and black, right in the middle of a forest clearing.
"Well, that's a freebie." Gwen rushed over to the S.U.V, and pressed her back against it, shooting a few more of the persistent Weevils that decided to chase her. She hopped into the driver's seat, not bothering to buckle up, and pulled her phone out of her pocket. Slamming her hand into the shift, Gwen took off in the direction that she knew, according to the beeping, Jack was.
She suddenly came upon a large ship. She didn't slow down though.
With one hand, she cocked her pistol. "I really don't have time to find that ship's entrance." Gwen put the gun next to her, buckled her seat belt, and floored it. The S.U.V plowed into the ship's side, and she was greeted to quite a sight.

The short blood-bath that was about to ensue happened quickly and with little warning. One moment Captain Jack Harkness was taking aim upon the Mantissian alien and the next moment crimson and greenish-blue droplets rained down upon everything that the eye could see. This included K-9 who suddenly looked as if he cans of paint had been dumped over his canine-like tin form. The alien had moved so fast and with such precision that it was almost too hard to believe.
She had reached for Jack, her mandibles clacking together in agitation and anger. She then had grabbed a hold of him, and took his head clean-off of his body. But not before Jack’s gun went off and bullets sang through the air, breaking through her outer shell and embedding themselves into her softer tissue. The effect might have been revolting if witnessed by someone with the proper body functions to be revolted. But luckily K-9 was not.
Both beings went down in a tangle of body parts, and various colors of bodily fluids; mostly red. Blood, Jacks blood; It was everywhere and both the alien and he lay motionless. Bloody pools of red and a greenish-blue seeped onto the spacecraft’s floor from the injured and dead. K-9 could tell almost instantly that Jack was dead, there was no beat of life hammering within his chest. But the alien lived on and K-9 made a split second decision.
Using the technology that his Master had given him. K-9 started to reprogram the ships computers to fly from the planet Earth and to keep going until it arrived at the largest library in all of time and space. It seemed a fitting end to the alien’s mischief.
But Jack, K-9 decided that Jack would be a problem. Searching the area, K-9 found Jacks head and tracked through what seemed like endless pools of blood and Mantis fluids. Streaks of crimson mixed with the blood of the mantis to make a bloody canvas of purple hued track marks upon the floor. But K-9 paid this little mind. His job now was to find Jacks head and remove his body before the ships systems were completely reprogrammed to leave and not come back.
A human head was not something that K-9 normally had to find and carry so he found it somewhat difficult to collect Jacks head and to start the process of rolling it back across the floor. In the end K-9 gave up and dropped it to the floor and spiked it carefully with one of his sensors. He was positive that someone would want to give the dead human a proper Earth burial.
K-9 was just relieved that Sarah Jane had made an escape before all of this broke loose. K-9 had a good idea of what would have happened had she seen such savage brutality and death. Suddenly K-9 could hear a rumbling and then there was the sounds of metal twisting and grinding. K-9 immediately stopped trying to reprogram the ships computers. The ship was going nowhere.

Gwen jumped out of the S.U.V, only to be greeted by a tin dog, a dead alien, and a decapitated Jack.
"Jack! Oh my god!" Gwen ran over to the head, and gently closed it's eyes. "Okay, Gwen, calm down. He's going to be okay. He survived being destroyed by Abbadon, he's survived a bullet in the head. He's going to be okay."
Gwen looked over at the robotic dog. "And you are? Never mind that right now; help me find his body. He'll need all his parts together to regenerate I think."
Gwen set off looking through the shrapnel, bloody mess, and ship's various parts to find Jack's body.
