Sarah walked around the house as she couldn't wait for her son to come back. She got his call and that really confused her which was why she waited for her. Sarah wanted to talk to him more about what he told her earlier. It all really confused her and she wanted to get to the bottom of it. Sarah wasn't in the room where Mr Smith was at because she wanted to wait for her son close to the entrance. Here and there she checked her watch as she waited for her son.

Luke was in the car his mum and given him that day he had set off to go to uni, it still looked as good as new when he was given it and it looked the same way now. His coming back though was much different than his leaving instead of just him and K9 he had someone new in the car a sort of sister The archetype mark 2, he had decided the best thing to do was go see his mum about this. "Don't worry mum is really friendly and everything, she wont harm you at all, she saves the world a lot." he grinned at her somewhat excited but still confused about the whole thing, why the bane needed a new archetype who knows.
They pulled up outside the house and got he looked back at the girl and gave her another smile. "You ready," he asked her, he gave her is hand trying to help her out of the car, at the same time he looked back at the house he well lived in before he went to oxford.

(just a hint but try using ? when asking a question. it works best cause half the time I can't tell whats in question form and what isn't.)
The sun beat down on the car as it headed to their destination and soon enough, reached it. She had been watching the scenery as they drove, the strange girl without a name. She looked over at Luke as the car stopped and he got out. Luke extended his hand to help the girl out of the car and she took it greatfully.
She was nervous as she was meeting the mother of Luke Smith, the boy who was technically her brother. Still dressed in the long white T-shirt dress thing with its short sleeves and the white shorts and white trainers she had been born in, the girl looked around for a bit. She didn't know what she was supposed to do, you'd think after being alive for even a short a time as she had that she'd know SOMETHING, but no she had no clue whatsoever.
The reason for her attire was simple, the clothes she had been wearing during her original stalking of Luke as well as the contense of hte bag she had and the bag its self were not hers, she had found them while wondering around the school grounds at night, someone had left their stuff by a tree and it was to be assumed she could just kind of have it. She hadn't bothered to bring it with her though as she no longer needed it, she had been found out and that was that. Now it was time to meet Sarah Jane Smith.

13th Bannerman Road. A fine house, really. Room for kids and a dog. Now there was just Sarah Jane Smith and Mr.Smith. Perhaps too much space. She hadn't been spending much time there, awake, anyway. Since she'd let Luke go to Oxford, she had been throwing herself into her work. She continued to tell herself that fighting for less toxic building materials in schools was just as important as saving entire civilizations. After all, in the end, it always came down to a few key players. Investigate, reveal, negotiate. Oh, yes, the Doctor had taught her just about everyone preferred conversation to annihilation. What did she accomplish with this? Healthy places for children to learn. Not exactly earth shattering changes. Sure, there had been many an adventure since the Doctor had left her, but almost as if Mr.Smith missed Luke as much as she did, the computer had little to say since the young man left. Today was different though. Luke's call had almost been a relief. Almost. Certainly, he'd found trouble again, but like a young boy would bring home a robin's egg shell for his mother to wonder at, Sarah Jane delighted in the conundrums and mysteries Luke brought to her doorstep.
Today, apparently, he was bringing her a Thyrolian. Or a confused girl, depending on how one looked at it. She couldn't help the quirk of a smile that came to her. He was bringing home an alien of sorts, but it was also an advanced, human, female alien. Bringing women home to her already, was he? She thought with amusement. He really was nearly a man. Smarter than most men, oh, much, but without the years to back it up. It made him vulnerable, and an her worried.
Mr.Smith's voice came to her. "Alien presence detected." He said. "Thank you Mr.Smith." She replied, both because it was part of the programing, and because she often was so grateful to have Mr.Smith's invaluable help.
Luke. Home. Her heart fluttered in her chest. Oh, yes, she had missed him dreadfully. When Luke had called, Sarah Jane had changed out of her chore clothing and put on a slim, gray plaid skirt and her soft burgundy sweater. The one he'd given her last mother's day. Now that he had arrived With one last look in the mirror and a quick fluff of her dark hair, she went out the door to see him pull up. To see him and the slip of a girl riding in the car with him. She could just see the girl through the reflection of the house lights on the windshield. Such a small thing the Thyrolian was, her face half obscured by the fall of her hair.
Sarah Jane wanted to run to the car, but wasn't about to embarrass Luke by treating him like a little boy in front of the young woman. Young alien, she corrected herself. The situation at hand could not overshadow her joy at seeing Luke. She stood there in the open doorway smiling hugely, waiting for him to come to her.
Still, there was business at hand. When Luke first emerged from the car, the young man was even taller than she remembered. Luke handed the girl out of the car, and she called over him, still smiling, but voice firm.. "Luke, unload K-9, please. Now.". She watched him, pride brimming, keeping one eye on their young guest. She gave Luke a fierce teasing smile, a bit of a viola laugh in her voice.
"You look about ready to outgrow your trainers again."
She did not know the Thyrolian's name, but she did her best to catch the one eye of hers she could see. "Thank you for coming, you've saved me the trip."

Luke smiled at Archetype mark 2 trying to reassure her, he was not sure if she was nervous or not but he would be if he was in that situation, once he was out of the car he went to the boot to get K9 out, he knew that k9 missed Mr smith and he also knew that though he would never admit to it Mr Smith missed K9. He was already opening the boot when Sarah came out to tell him to get K9 out which by the end of her saying that he had already done. (Btw someone actually plays K9 here but don't know what's going on with that)
Looking up from the the car he looked at his mum who now looked more lively than she did the last time he came back with that Alien that had tried draining her essence, he had not been happy when he had got that phone call from Clyde but least he was here for things not invasion or end of the world wise. He noticed from her facial expression that maybe he should of said more on the phone. "Mum this is well er she does not really have a name she was just named Archetype mark 2, by the Bane," he waited to see what she would say and made sure the mark 2 was ok.

Such a little thing. Not a young woman, just a girl, Sarah Jane though, fixing her gaze on the The Archetype 2 as she stood there dressed all in gray on the carport. A few steps took her stand in front of the girl, just out of her reach. There is a minutia of struggle on Sarah Jane's face as her thoughts warred with each other:
The Bane: The most terrible danger to her son. If they were here, even if Luke did not factor into their plans, it still bode no well for Earth.
The Archetype Mark 2: Innocent of her own creation as were we all. Sarah had not yet divined if this worn down little tweener was a danger in of herself, as of yet.
As these two points wrestled in her mind, she had to try not to glare at the girl while looking her over. The Archetype 2 appeared to be just about the least dangerous conundrum she'd ever met. For a moment, it looked like Sarah Jane was about to offer a handshake to the girl, but instead, she was bringing up her wrist to use her analyzer. She held it high, flipping up the clear face of the tiny dish, and did a reading on the Archetype 2. Flipping it back shut, she looked into the girl's eyes, wondering who she was in there.
"Hello, Archetype Two." Smile warming a little even as she said it. There was something about the girl's expression that reminded her of Luke when she first met him. Including the pain. "I'm Sarah Jane. Are you hungry? Let's move this inside, shall we?" She'd left the front door open. She took a moment to look at Luke and let him know with a subtle nod and a warm smile that he'd done the right thing to bring the girl here, even if he'd done it on his own.
She wasn't going to bother to tell him she'd wanted to strip his hide when she realized he was not only not avoiding trouble, he'd possibly might have just driven a long trip with trouble riding in his passenger seat. He must have just misunderstood that she had said on the phone that she was driving out to meet him, and that he was supposed to stay far away from the Archetype 2 until she got there. Ahh, Teenagers. Well, no matter, Luke's instincts had been right. Here he was, safe for the moment. And by the looks of things, they had the upper hand on the waif.

Her eyes moved over toward Luke as he removed the metal dog from the trunk of the car, such an oddly comfy car it had been. She had been nervous, of course she had it was understandable..most likely. She looked over at Sarah Jane as she walked over toward her and Luke. The older women looked at the sma/ll girl and, tried to stop a glare, not that the brief few seconds it had been there had gone unnoticed by the Archetype, she was her, it had been her job for the past few months to notice subtle things and try to make sense of them. That didn't exactly work in her favor all the time though as she had no idea what most of the subtleties she noticed meant.
The women lifted her arm up, making the Archetypes eyes fixate on her to see what she would do. Much to her curiosity Sarah Jane looked at a watch...odd why was she looking at that? Why was she holding it up toward her?? The younger girl was somewhat tall, about Five feet 3 inches or so. she was somewhat pale, just enough to indicate she didn't go out much...well she didn't! Her hair, red and somewhat long, extending past her shoulders to somewhere around mid back, falling into her face at this time, covering the left one of her emerald eyes.
Sarah Jane then proceeded to greet the younger girl and state that they should go inside. Looking over several times to where Luke was for conformation, the Mark 2 moved with Sarah Jane inside her house and waited to be told what to do. Her red hair falling in over one of her eyes, she should probably do something about it, but not yet. She moved her hand slowly over her hair and moved it out of her face, it would most likely fall back at some point but till then it was fine.
Looking at Sarah Jane carefully as she could from the place she stood, The Mark 2 noticed the differences between their clothes. Sarah Jane was wearing some color, as was Luke but she was not. She was still in the same clothes she had been *born* in.

"Take yourselves to the stools at the kitchen bar. I never met someone growing like teenager who wasn't hungry." Sarah Jane followed up behind keeping a close eye on the girl even as she exchanged predictable greetings with K9. He was fully operational. She reported the same to him as return she stepped into her kitchen.

The Archetype Mark 2 walked along, following Sarah Jane's instructions to go to the kitchen. She watched Sarah Jane and the metal dog, who was called K-9 exchange words with each other...a conversation if she remembered correctly. It was amazing how lame her memory could be, even though she had an awesome one all things considered.
As seh reached the Kitchen, the Mark 2 watched Sarah Jane as the older women seamed to keep a rather close eye on her. She moved over toward one of the stools and lifted herself on it, having to half jump to just get on the thing, her feet dangling above the floor. She stared at the older women and then the metal dog, then Luke and back at Sarah Jane. Her red hair falling once more into her eyes as she watched them.
Thinking for a moment she decided to ask a question, it may have seemed like a stupid question, in fact it was one but she truly didn't know the answer. "What's a teenager?" she asked, feeling really stupid for having to ask that, but honestly she didn't know. She'd thought almost all people were named Sanjay up till the previous night after all.
Her eyes trailed over Sarah Jane as she finished the question and realized something, she was shorter then both other humans in the room...was this going to be permanent? She had no idea. Thinking of this, she smiled slightly in amusement, which could have been misread as, as far as the other two would know there was really nothing to be smiling like that about.

Somewhat still on guard with the business at hand, her greeting to Luke was warm, if silent. She would greet him properly as soon as the time was right.
Taking this and that down from the cupboards, she almost absently started constructing sandwiches. Most of her attention was on the Archetype 2. There was something different about her than Luke had been. A hesitancy. A shame perhaps. She remembered how very, very absorbent, innocent, he had been those first months. It made her grit her teeth to realize that wherever this girl creature had been, it hadn't been with someone who was kind. Leaving what she was doing, she took a stool on her side of the counter and sat across from the Archetype 2. The girl's hair was a shiny and soft as an infant's. Her eyes were blazing bright and clear as a babe's as well. A lovely green.
"Humans grow in stages. The biggest change they make is from childhood to adulthood. They grow fast and it makes them hungry. Humans make this change in their second decade of life. Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen and on. So we call them teenagers." She reached out, impulsively, gently, and caught the girl's chin in her hand wanting to be sure to hold her gaze. "You look like a teenager. But you're not. You're not much more than a year old. That isn't very fair." Unabashed concern was clear in Sarah Jane's dark eyes. It was sad, really. She watched that young face, closely, wondering if it was time to push her for more answers yet. She brushed the tip of her thumb on the girl's chin as her hand fell away, in a small sign of welcome.

Eyes fixated on Sarah Jane as the women moved closer to her, touched her face tenderly. It was odd, she felt warm, somewhat happy, if that was the right term. So humans grew in stages, ok that made sense, what about the metal dog though? Did it change like humans did? Did it upgrade or something?
Sarah Jane dropped her hand from the young girls face, her eyes following Sarah's hand all the while, keeping watch over it to see what she did next. Her focus switched to the metal dog for a moment and seh stood up, having to hop off the stool to reach the ground. She walked over to the strange machine that looked like a canine(there's a joke for us) and knelt down in front of it and stared for several seconds. Waiting for it to blink. After a few more seconds of watching it, she leant back on her feet and blinked a few times before standing up and speaking to know one in particular "how doesn't it blink?" she asked anyone who could answer before taking her seat once more. She had said very little in the time she'd been in or near Sarah Jane's house and that wasn't going to change much.
Thinking for a second as she hopped up on the stool again, the Mark Two laied her head on the table, attempting to figure out if this new position would assist in her thought process....maybe?

She watched the girl move, quick and light, curious. Sarah Jane contained a quirk of a smile. This would be easier than she thought, having seen such hesitancy in the girl's eyes as she met her in the car port. When the girl was seated again, she explained.
"Most animals have fragile wet eyes because they are grown, not manufactured. They need to be wet so they can slide around in your head and not get hurt or stuck. Eyelids protect them and with tears, help keep them clean. K9's photo receptor, eyes, are machines like busses or telephones. His eyes are hard and dry and strong." She shrugs, " he has no need to blink. Archetype 2, I will answer all of your questions, but you must answer mine in return. I want you to please tell me how you found Luke."
She gave a single, subtle, low wave of her hand to Luke, who was obviously concerned for the Archetype 2. He never really could understand the depth of her commitment to keep him whole and free. She focused in on the Archetype 2, dark eyes imploring to make this simple.

She listened, as Sarah Jane explained about the difference between human eyes and normal dog eyes in reference to K-9's, keeping her head down on the table as the explanation explanation was given.
"Archetype 2,"[/i]
Keeping her head down, the Archetype began to think, thoughts she didn't like thinking. Mrs. Wormwood had called her that...while thinking about this, she listened to the rest of Sarah Jane's compromise.
I will answer all of your questions, but you must answer mine in return. I want you to please tell me how you found Luke.
The girl's head flew up at this request, red hair flying back a bit as seh looked at Sarah Jane and looked down, eyes more focused on her hands then anywhere else. "Mrs. Wormwood showed me...." she said, rather quietly still staring at her hands, a frown clear on her face. "Don't like 'er, was abandoned." the Archetype 2 said, a mixture of sadness and confusion as to why she'd been left alone by the person who'd creatured her. For some reason, at that point she had stopped using actual sentences, or maybe she just spoke in and out of hearable range?
"Next question?" she asked, looking at Sarah Jane, expecting another question. After all she had asked a few already so she owed the women a few catch-up answers.

"You're a good girl then, Archetype 2. Luke, will you make the sandwiches, please? And put on some tea? It tugged at her heartstrings when the Archetype 2 put her head on the table, so she tugged back, not ready to give an inch to this girl creation yet. Just hearing Ms.Woormwood's name had got her heart to banging in her chest. She wanted to look over at Luke to see how he was taking this, but didn't want to let on how significant it was that the Bane were near.
"Ms.Wormwood can be . . .not very nice. " She took some time, studying the girl's eyes, able to extrapolate some of what sort of unhappiness the Archetype 2 had been subjected to. Newborn. "You know what, Archetype, the rest of your life is going to belong to you, and I don't think you'll have to worry much about Ms.Wormwood." She reached out and touched the girl lightly on the wrist with her fingertips, wanting to be sure to capture her gaze as well. So open. So fresh. So lost.
"Now I want you to tell me why Ms.Woormwood showed you where Luke was."

She heard Sarah Jane ask for Luke to make sandwiches and tea, heard her say Mrs. Wormwood wasn't a nice person but that wasn't what caught her attention most...she'd been called good, it felt nice, first time for everything right? "Thank you." she said in regards to the being called a good girl thing.
"Now I want you to tell me why Ms.Woormwood showed you where Luke was."
She moved in her seat a little, not wanting to talk about the subject anymore. She frowned and thought for a moment mumbling to herself "Why did she...why did she....why??" Then she remembered. "For the mission" she finally said, being as vague as seh could, not fully knowing what to say.
With her free hand, she began to fiddle with her shirt, saverely hating the Mrs. Wormwood topic.
OOC: We should do a think where Mr. Smith like, scanned the Mark Two for any differences between herself and Luke. then he can notice the higher concentration of Sarah Jane's DNA then any others.
