Sarah Jane chewed a little at her bottom lip as she saw the Archetype 2 struggling within herself. Answers, Sarah Jane wanted immediately, but she needed to draw them forth with care not to compromise the vessel of those answer.. She kept her gaze riveted on the girl, not wanting to miss a single clue of who she was and why she was here. "Archetype 2," Her voice was slow and warm, not wanting to make her flinch. "Why don't you tell me how it makes you feel when you think about your mission?"
She reached out and took that finely sculpted chin gently in her finger tips, giving a nudge up, wanting to the girl's eyes when she spoke. To read the truth there if nothing else. "You're doing fine. Tell me how you feel inside when you think about your mission."

"Mrs. Wormwood said, the mission will being once I've sacured Luke Smith." she explained, rather calm now, she could talk about the mission quite easily, she'd thought about it allot. As much as she had tried not to do so.
She looked at Sarah Jane as she considered the question and felt the older women gentile touch and her eyes watching her. "I don't like her." she repeated vary calmly. "I don't like the mission it wasn't nice." she explained, only being able to think of the word Nice to describe what it wasn't. "It was a mission I didn't want to do, I had no choice." she said still as calm as she could keep herself, her eyes deceiving her mask of calm quite early in what she considered a speech in her own terms
It was possible that she'd be asked to explain what the mission was, this thought frightened the girl a little, it was after all, a mission related to Sarah Jane and Luke.
OOC: I so have a post to explain what the mission was. Its full of video footage, not like, a link but holographic stuff for your imagening.

She dared to assume that this girl hadn't had time to learn how to lie well. Not well enough to fool her. The distaste that crossed that face was clear. No, Archetype 2 had not enjoyed her mission. She stared at her a moment longer, feeling Luke's safety weigh heavily within her. Letting go of that chin, she hooked that curtain of penny dark copper hair back over the girl's ear. The right eye was as reluctant as the left in regards Archetype 2's feelings.
To her surprise, she felt a smile growing slowing on her face. Her eyes flickered back to her son, now. Standing there unharmed and near.
"Apparently you had a choice didn't you? Luke isn't 'secured'. You didn't do it, You don't owe her anything," She was at her most compelling, seeing the possibility this girl could be an Allie against the Bane. It was one little avenue in to this girl, and she intended to exploit it. Her face was open with hope. "You don't have to do it alone anymore K9, Luke, and I are going to help. "
"It's time to tell me what your mission was, Archetype 2. Tell me and I'll help put a stop to it." She could feel her molars grinding in the back a bit as her anxiety rose, not wanting to have to compel the girl further, but unable to stand Luke being in danger. Whatever Ms.Woormwood's plans were, no good would come of it.

Clearing her throat, the mark two frowned and responded. "Can I show you?" she asked as she pulled something out of a hidden pocket in her shirt, it was a little disk with instructions, she'd kept it, had no idea why but she hadn't thrown it away. She knew nothing of disposing of objects after all and thought it would be a waist to do so.
The disk began to play, a hologram of Mrs. Wormwood and the Mark 2 appearing. Mrs. Wormwood looking the same as she had upon the return of the Bane, the Mark Two sitting on the floor, soaked in the same liquid shown splattered around the basement of the destroyed factory, surrounded by the broken glass that had housed her for so many years. The Wormwood hologram stared incredulously at the Mark two, full of authority and a look someone who hated animals would give a much disliked pet or one that someone ordering something it didn't consider to be worth anything or even worth life.
"I...I am called Mrs. Wormwood, I am the creator." she'd said, avoiding the word You as, in her mind it would give the new creature she'd kept dormant for so long an identity.
"I will always be obeyed. that must be understood.." she scolded, as if speaking to an idiototic child. who'd disobeyed an obvious order or would do so. "You will obey me....I am the reason you exist and I can easily extinguish your existence." the Bane women had said, using the word You this time for lack of a better thought up term. Bending down to the Mark Two's level, the former Bane leader took the girl's face in her hand, in a somewhat harsh manner "I won't get rid of you, provided you obey me." she explained careful in what she said. "You see....you exist to serve me, that is your purpose, to be my little atomiton, a thing for my use, to do my dirty work." she explained.
Standing back up, she spoke in her bossy authoritative way "We're going on a little mission Mark 2, and this is it. Once I have retrieved the Archetype Mark 1 or as he is now known Luke Smith, you will destroy Sarah Jane Smith and her companions. You'll know how to stop her, you should know, it's your purpose." she explained, becoming frustrated with the possibility of another failure. She sighed and spoke quietly, almost too quietly but still loud enough for Sarah Jane to be able to make out. "We don't need you getting an identity now do we!?!" even with this said Wormwood knew the Mark two would not at that time know what that had meant and perhaps wouldn't consider the words or care for them "Ugh Humans, disgusting little creatures."
"What if you fail?" the Mark two had asked. This caused Wormwood to whirl around, anger clear in her voice at being challenged by something she didn't even consider worthy of keeping around. "We will not fail!" she had half yelled, startling the girl. The hologram ended. The time stamp had the date of the last time the bane women had been there, before she'd been sucked into the vortex.
Putting the Holo-disk on the table, she shook her head lightly and her face went a creepy sort of emotionless in look, no smile, no frown....just a straight face. "Why did you say it was my life, but she said existence, what's the difference?" she asked, unsure of why there would be two words for something she thought meant the same thing. She expected at least someone to know, if they didn't fair enough at least that would mean she wasn't the only one who was unable to understand.
OOC: I'm curious to see how Sarah Jane handles this question, answer or not doesn't matter to me.

Producing a compact little audio/video player, she wordlessly permitted the Archetype 2 to play her media. Sarah found herself leaning down low on the table, hand braced on it as she watched, moving over just enough to let Luke see also. She took the opportunity to clasp his young-man's hand and give it a comforting squeeze before returning to bracing herself on the table.
It was an ugly little video, and Sarah Jane felt her face go hot with anger. Tears filled her eyes, but they did not fall. She blinked them away and watched the rest of the damning video.
She chewed on the Archetype 2's question for a few breaths before shutting the little viewer and turning to the red-headed girl.
"Dreams. Not just sleeping dreams, but waking dreams. Dreams are of the future, and part of having a life is knowing that you'll have enough control over your life to follow your dreams. It's a sense of identity. Your identity is knowing who you wish to be, and being that.. Existing. . . . . that is simply staying alive. It's a good thing to be alive, Archetype 2, you keep doing it . .okay? But I want you to know from here on out, that as a child of humanity, you are born with the right to dream. To know who you are and who you wish to be. That right can be stolen from you, but all you have to do to take it back is to be your own person and make your own choices.
"So. Tell me. Are you going to do what Ms.Wormwood has told you do? Are you still going to try to take my son?" She had to take a deep breath and reach for Luke's hand again, thinking of what might have happened to him.. "To try to harm me?" There was a certain hardness in her eyes and a tilt to her proud chin that conveyed that the Archetype 2 might have trouble enacting her mission, should she choose to try to do so.

Hearing what Sarah Jane's explanation for what a life was and approving of it, the Archetype 2 stood up and smiled. She liked this explanation, find a dream, something you want to do and work towards it, thats what a life had in it that an existence did not.
She watch Sarah Jane as the older women watched the video and watched her hand go for Luke's. The next question hit her by surprise a little and she turned around, unsure of how to answer it, face looking out of the window at the scenery near her. "No, I don't want to....didn't like her, didn't like the mission." she explained. "It made me feel....wrong to have to do it, when she failed and I didn't have to do it, I felt right again.....or normal I guess, I don't know what the feeling was." she replied turning back around and sitting down on the stool again.
"I watched Luke for a while, he interested me....not his friends though, they were scared of me a little." she said, a mischievous little smile playing on her lips, she'd kind of enjoyed scaring them, though at that time she hadn't expected that big of a reaction now that she thought of it, it was really funny.

It was that last thing the Archetype 2 said that finally convinced her the girl was telling the truth. Sarah Jane hand been wondering if someone of her brief existence had enough sophistication to lie. She could see the slightly wicked joy in the girl creature's eyes and it was clear she'd enjoyed scaring Luke's friends. Someone more sophisticated would have known to hide this unattractive moment.
However, where Luke was involved, Sarah Jane tended toward measure twice, cut once.
"One last thing, Archetype 2." She said when the girl hopped back up onto the kitchen stool. "How were you supposed to overcome both of us? Even I'm bigger than you. And Luke discovered you because he is so clever. So. What advantage did Ms.Woormwood give you? Are you stronger than you look? Or have some other special weapon?"
She was obviously drawing a final line, trying to deduce the danger of the girl who sat across from her, beyond her past or her future. In part because she was about to let her go through her wardrobe and pick something out. If she got an answer now, she'd even let her into the old wardrobe from her traveling days.

She watched Sarah Jane relax a bit, relaxing a bit herself, it was odd the way that worked, one person does something then another and so on, like if someone smiles, people just kind of have to smile themselves.
She was asked if she had powers that would have helped her defeat Sarah Jane and Luke any faster then normal...she'd have to think on that one. "Mrs. Wormwood said there's more of your DNA in me then there is in Luke, she said it was intended to make me be able to think more like you do then like anyone else, predict your possible moves." she explained, as best she could. She didn't know what else to say.
Pausing for about two minutes, the interval seaming to last years to her, she finally found the words "I like computers, I'm good with them...I don't know what else to say, aside from I am really good at not being noticed." She told Sarah Jane, Luke could testify to that one if he felt like it later, he'd found her of course but she'd lasted almost a year without being noticed in a big enogh way to get the police involved or anything.

So divided was she in that moment, it was almost like being two people. Part of her felt horribly violated by Ms.Woormwood and the sycophantic ways of the Bane. It only helped a little that Ms.Woormwood was undeniably dead. That her DNA had been stolen again almost made her sick for a moment.
She turned to look out the window, to compose herself, though her breath came ragged out her open mouth a moment. Then she calmed.
The other part of her knew that what had been done was no fault of this girl's at all. Sarah Jane knew that whatever she did next would be important in the long run.
"Well said, and good for you. Beings as Ms.Woormwood is dead and her plan gone awry, lets go back to basics, shall we? Luke, we'll have sandwiches on the third floor after the Archetype Mark 2 has had time to clean up. Alright?" It was almost a silly thing to say. It was nonsense really, and bossy besides but she just needed to look at him a moment to give herself strength. Her face is a little strained as she looks to him, but she is back under control as she looks back to the Archetype 2 with a bit of a grin, and crooked a finger at her.
"You follow me, Miss." She said with a smile, enjoying having something good to give her after her hard time. Along the way, she stopped to pull out two big, fluffy white towels, and a washrag. Without a word, she put this bundle in the girl's hand and led her down the right hallway. Really, she'd left the TARDIS with very little in hand, but one day, not long after she'd been reunited with the Doctor at the school, most of her old things had simply arrived in the free space of this spare room. Her old clothing. Wee Nick knack mementos from here and there that meant nothing to anyone but her and the Doctor. She opened the door and flipped on the lights to show a warm little room ringed by racks of her old clothes and some oddly keepsakes.
"Pick out some clothing, then go take a long hot shower. I'm only an inch or two taller, these things should fit. I've some fresh underthings and socks in the trunk. Help yourself." She said, smiling at her. It was an easy way to help.
Still, part of her could not wait to get back down stairs and go talk to Luke. She had been so unsettled by what the Archetype 2 had said.

She saw Sarah Jane's reaction and frowned, she wasn't too happy with the last tid-bit of information now was she?
"You follow me, Miss." Was that a command? It seamed like one, it was that was a good thing right? It meant Sarah Jane had a plan and that for once in her life, The Archetype 2 could be involved in something that wasn't a bad thing and wasn't over her own creation. So she followed.
As the two walked, Sarah Jane had pulled out some towels and put them into the young girl's arms. They were just as soft and nice feeling as they looked. A smile lit up on the girl's face as she followed. Sarah Jane lead her into a room, it was a good size and it made the Mark 2 curious as to what it was for.
Much to her delight, she'd then been told to rummage through and pick some clothes she liked, have a nice long shower and then, once she was done that she would go back to find Luke and Sarah Jane.
Once she'd been left alone, the Mark two smiled and spun around about three times, her red hair flying everywhere as she did. A large grin plastered itself on her face as she stopped, having to move some hair out of her eyes. She was like a kid in a candy store, an expression she'd heard someone use when she'd been spying on Luke, though she felt it fit her mood, she hadn't known really what it meant so it might not have.
Getting her mind set into the right mode as she mentally called the correct mindset for different things. The Archetype Mark 2 began to look at the racks of hung up clothing, over and over again she'd search them, till she found just the right outfit. Upon her search, the young girl found a particular sweater and removed it for a closer look. It was a very stripy one, the stripes going in all different directions, which the girl quickly put back after attempting to think of practical uses for it.
She began to search more, finally coming to something she liked, a pair of pink overalls, with three stars on the pocket. She liked this allot, though began to consider weather a red headed girl would go well with an all pink outfit. Taking the overalls (I read somewhere they are Andy Pandy ones, not sure if thats the official name.) she stood up and took a red long sleeved shirt and took it, it matched. She then began to go sift through the trunk that had underwear and such. Finding some of course she continued for everything else she'd need, shoes could come when she'd need them. Seeing something very striped, the young girl stopped to consider them, were they like that sweater? no they were pink. She picked them up and put them with the rest of the item's she'd chosen.

Sarah was pleased to see the girl light up when she saw all the clothing offered her to choose from. It was a simple goodness. They always seemed to come even when everything else was going wrong. Before she left, she made well sure the Archetype 2 felt welcome. Her smile of welcome faded as soon as she turned away from the girl creature, too much still on her mind.
Right now, she decided to focus on Luke, greeting Luke properly, and seeing what he thought of all of this. She wanted to be sure he was alright. She knew it was not so, but she needed to know, again, this moment, that Ms.Woormwood had not done to Luke what she had done to her second experiment.
Sarah Jane went nimbly down the stairs to find her son and her daft metal dog.

(( In short, Sarah is taking on Archetype 2 as he next project. Luke she is pleased with, though she's been ignoring him terribly, focused on seeing if Luke is in any danger. Archetype 2 is getting some clothes and getting cleaned up. Luke made sandwiches and is waiting downstairs for SJ to come back down from showing A2 around. She is not entirely sure of her yet, but doesn't think she's a clear nor present danger. Luke could be eating his sandwich, just standing around, or gone to sleep on the couch. If you want to minimize your involvement, you could go back to Oxford in the morning and role play Skype with us at your own pace. Or if you're only going to write here, I hope you'll do what suits your fancy. I will soon delete this post, or copy out to OOC. I think it would be lovely to see us try to keep the OOC off these boards. It clutters them up. Lets have an OOC line. Or send PM's. Luke, if you don't intend to post, let me know. or make a short post about sleeping on the couch.))

K-9 whirled and spun around almost cheerfully at being home. He was looking forward to re-instating his rivalry with Mr. Smith, the know it all computer that he had silent communications with that consisted of thinly veiled insults and ones that were pretty blunt. If Master Luke or Mistress Sarah Jane had every figured out the animosity between the two, K-9 had never deduced. K-9 had one big thing on his side and that was mobility. There was also his connection to The Doctor and experiences of life beyond planet Earth. His antennas flickered back and forth and they seemed to focus themselves on the individual coming down the stairs. K-9 could tell instantly that Mistress Sarah Jane has a slightly elevated blood pressure and if he could have frowned he would have. Something bothered his mistress and when his mistress was bother, so was he.

It was good to find K-9 waiting at the bottom of the stairs for her. He would as faithfully waited a decade as a hour. Luke, however could not wait so long. To her disappointment she saw he had stretched out and fallen asleep on the couch. She put her finger to her lips and shushed K-9 before he could greet her and wake up the boy. Young man. Child.
There he was, sacked out after his adventure and his long drive in from Oxford. It hurt her a little that he was asleep. Now that she was fairly certain that Luke was out of danger from the Archetype 2, she was sorry she hadn't had time to really talk to him. Not just to find out what he knew about this girl creature who was settling herself upstairs, but to here how Oxford was treating him and what he thought of the world now that he was truly becoming a part of it.
She brushed his sweep of hair off his face and covered him with a blanket. With a soft snap of her fingers and a gesture, she shooed K-9 into the kitchen. When she spoke to the dear tin dog, she whispered, expecting him to pick up the cue and answer quietly.
"Hello K-9. I see it's as difficult to keep Luke out of trouble as it ever was to keep me out of trouble. Though I was hoping he could get through at least his first quarter without Alien interference. I'm glad you were there, though. How are you, K-9? How do you find Oxford?" She was bending down to get a good look at him. Of course Luke had kept him shining bright and in tip top form.
For the moment, she pushed her anxiety aside. In the back of her mind though, she was mulling over hard the idea that the girl upstairs had enough of her DNA as to be able to think like her. To be a weapon against her own son.
