"Thanks." He smiled.
It was a bumpy ride back to her parents house, but they eventually got there. Stepping out of the Tardis, they were greeted almost immediately my Josh who came out. The Doctor joyfully shook Josh's hand. Then they went inside.
"So..." The Doctor began, sitting down on a chair in the living room. "I know about the watch and what it does. What I don't understand is why Melissa has it and who it originally belongs to. I'm guessing you know." He said seriously.
"Oh and it's nice to see you again." He added grinning.

Melissa came in, sitting next to the Doctor. She was completely confused by the question and the situation.
"What do you mean...what the watch is and what it does?" she asked. It just looked like a normal pocket watch to her.
Josh ignored Melissa's comments and focused on the Doctor.
He nodded. "Yes, I do know the answers...Jed gave it to me to keep safe for awhile." He smiled at the Doctor. "It's nice to see you again as well."

"Right, so do you know who the identity is inside this?" He asked and pointed at the watch.
"This watch holds the real identity of a Timelord who has turned themselves human." He told Melissa.

Melissa looked at the Doctor and whispered, "So my dad's friend Jed was a Time Lord?"

Josh didn't really want to tell him with Melissa in the room. This isn't really how he wanted her to find out about it...
"This is something that maybe we should talk about privately," Josh said. "Will you come to my office again?"

Josh responded, "Possibly...although I really couldn't say...Jed said that when a Time Lord is a human, that Time Lord cannot remember anything about their life as a Time Lord -- that they're just a story. I really don't know too much about how that would work. You would probably know better."
