The Doctor looked out to see that the monster was getting dangerously close to the boys from earlier.
"Ok, when I say 'now' disconnect the yellow and blue wires." He told her.
Unfortunately, The Doctor didn't realise that there were 2 yellow wires connecting to the core. Before Melissa could say anything The Doctor shouted, "NOW!"

Melissa, not knowing exactly which yellow wires he was talking about, decided that she had better disconnect both of them.
So she disconnected the blue, and the two yellow wires.
She looked to the Doctor, hopeful that it had worked.

The Doctor felt the monster give a sudden jolt and stop altogether. He looked down to see the boys were literally a centimetre away from the monster.
He then saw Melissa climb her way back up. He gave her big hug.
"Haha! You did it...well done." He told her still holding her.
They made their way down to see the two yellow wires and the blue wire disconnected. He paused for a moment, shrugged and continued down.

Melissa looked back at him and smiled, "WE did it together. Without your instructions, I wouldn't have known what to do."
It felt wonderful to her to be held by him.
She then commented on the yellow wires, "There were two yellow wires...I disconnected both of them."

"Don't worry about it, I forgot to tell you which one to cut but cutting both doesn't harm us." He told her smiling.
Getting off they went over to the very astounded boys who stood there in awe. The Doctor smiled and they all cheered.
Hanso ran over to them and hugged all the boys. He shook both The Doctor's and Melissa's hand.
"Thank you so so much. If there is anything we can do to repay you." He offered.
"You're welcome and we don't need anything." The Doctor said "But to be on the safe side you better check whether that is fully down. You never know." He whispered. Hanso nodded and made sure of it.
"Well, it's time for us to go." He said facing Melissa.

"All right...so where off to next?" she asked.

"Hmmm." He thought for a moment opening the doors and bounding around.
"Well, I thought we could go to the future. See what's going on there." He grinned. Then he spotted her jacket and there was something shiny in one of the pockets. He walked over.
"Nice jacket." He admired holding it up to look at it properly. Then he saw what the shiny thing was, he took it out and stared at it. For a moment Melissa thought he'd gone a bit mad just staring at it. The object itself was a fob watch, and the front had lots of swirly patterns on it.
"W-who's is this? A-and who gave it to you?" The Doctor asked with an alarmed look on his face.

"That," Melissa said, while glancing at the watch, "is the graduation present that my sister mentioned. My parents gave it to me when I graduated from high school. I think they found it in an antique store somewhere....anyway, it looks old."
She was amused that he found it so fascinating, but confused by his reaction to it. "Really, it's just a decoration because it doesn't really work. It's stuck...."
"Anyway, I think it would be fun to go into the future.....and I'm glad you like my jacket."
She smiled at him, moving closer. He really was unique.

Melissa shook her head at the Doctor, "It won't open...I already know it won't. It's stuck. Like I said, it's more of a decoration than anything else. It looks really cool, though."
However, she did take it from the Doctor.

He looked in deep thought for a few seconds. "Do you want me to tell you what it really is? What I believe it is, it would have been given to you on purpose." He asked looking straight at her, he looked quite serious.

Melissa continued to be surprised by his obsession with the watch.
"So you've seen other watches like this before? Sure...you can tell me. It sounds like this type of watch has a history."
She noticed how serious he was. "But why so much interest in it....do you know the jeweler or the person who made this watch? It looks like it's an antique, which means you went back in time and met the person who made it...right?" Melissa looked at him, trying to figure this out.
