The Doctor remained where he was, hands still on the TARDIS controls. "No," he said slowly. "I don't think I will. This whole setup seems to be herding us along, from one place to another. I've had experiences of being a sheep before and I didn't like it. Not at all." His face darkened with the memories. "I am not a pawn, for anyone or anything. I refuse to be used again!" There was no reply from outside so he raised his voice. "Do you hear me? If you wish to speak to me, to ask me for help then you're going to have to come to me! On my terms! Otherwise I refuse to co-operate!" (Quiet ship? We can't have that!  ) "Well well well, another little playmate has come to visit me!" a low rumble of a voice seemed to emanate from all corners of the dim ship. A moment later the celestrial Toyman appeared, sitting on his vast ornate throne above Tylerhathan. "And what games shall we play now?" |

"Now I think it's time to control your companion just once more.",said the Toymaker and looked in James' eyes.Then he said: "Now,attack the Doctor." James stared at the Toymaker with an amused look. "That's nice.I'm so sorry Toymaker,but I think I can protect my mind from outer influences now.",said James. "Then,I'll have this Time Lord,Tylerhathan,kill him.Destroy him now!" "Wait,wait Toymaker,why destroy the Doctor if you want him to locate the Key to Time and defeat the Daleks?You shouldn't have any reason to do that.You know why,Doctor?When Zara contacted you,our minds connected,and I had the opportunity to snatch some information out of hers.The Celestial Toymaker is in fact a Guardian of Time,namely the Crystal Guardian of Dreams,Games and Illusions. (Well,I was thinking we could have some past companions of the Doctor abducted by the Daleks in order to blackmail the Doctor.What do you think?It would certainly make it a bit more interesting.Also,I was thinking about having a cameo of some other known hostile race(Cybermen,Sontarans etc.).What do you think about that?)

Tylerhathan looked up and frowned at this Celestrial Toymaker. "Look, I'm not interested in playing any games of yours.
Tylerhathan's face turned to anger as the Celestrial Toymaker had ordered him to kill the Doctor. Not only did this creature dare to try to order a Time Lord around, but he actually thought that he could get him to destroy his own son?
Now, it was quite possible that the Toymaker had no idea that he was the Doctor's father. But somehow, he had known that he was a Time Lord. How, Tylerhathan had no idea.
"Dalek Empire? What in Gallifrey is going on?" Tylerhathan thought to himself. There was no way that he would let anyone touch his son.

(Well, the last time Eight had faced the ToyMaker (End Game, comic series) the Toymaker had enclosed the entire village he had landed in in a snowglobe. Perhaps this could be just another version? Heh we too are confused by the Toymaker! Good, isn't he? ) "Hmmm," the Doctor exited the TARDIS which seemed to have returned in the same place as before, on the silent ship. "He's up to his old tricks again, I see. Never trust the Toyman, he changes the rules of play as he sees fit. The only way to escape him is to beat him at his own game. But first," he paused and straightened out his velveteen jacket, "We have to see just what that game is! Are you sure you're all right, James?" |

(I've got a bit confused too.Well,personally,I thought that first,Tylerhathan landed on the ship where the Doctor and James met the Toymaker and the Guardians.He landed there with his TARDIS,just a bit after James and the Doctor had gone in search of Zara and Amy on the planet Norma something.On the way there the Celestial Toymaker materialises aboard the TARDIS holding Tylerhathan captive.I'm really sorry if I unintetionally manipulated your character by the way,Tenth Doctor.So,James questions the Toymaker's true motives and uncovers his true identity,which happens to be a Dalek agent.I have made you confused,haven't I?I'm so sorry!)

(Wait, the Toymaker is a Dalek agent? I guess if he thought it would be a good game he would. But then the Dalek who spoke would just be wearing a disguise of the Toymaker and not the Toymaker himself since he has a habit of destroying what he considers pawns when they fail him.)

Tylerhathan continued to wonder what was taking place. Where was he? He'd been on the ship, having arrived just after the Doctor had left. Now there were Daleks involved and someone wanting to him to kill the Doctor. He wasn't entirely certain of his current circumstances.

(No,no the Toymaker that came aboard the TARDIS was not the original one,but a fascimile!A fascimile created by the Daleks to deceive the Doctor.Got it now?Sorry for the confusion!I hope you're not at your wit's end!)
"Exterminate the Doctor!",said the Toymaker fascimile and raised its hand.It sort of opened to reveal what looked suspiciously a lot like an energy blaster.
"Oh,no,you don't!",muttered James and,aiming to bump into this fascimile and thrust it back,ran towards it.He jumped on it and made it fall down,and then he felt a cold metal hand gripping his neck.He started to fight against the fascimile strangling him,and just on the edge of losing consciousness,he managed to mouth one word...
"Help!"

"NO!" the Doctor shouted as he leapt forward. He grabbed the metal hand and tried to force it apart. "I see...you lot have...added something new..." he gasped with his efforts. "Nver thought...you'd ever need.....anything like hands! Aren't....they rather beneath you....admitting you require......something a basic body....needs?"

(is Tylerhathan free to move....you said that he's captive, James, but I need to know what you mean by that. A little more explanation or description in your posts would help everyone involved. We can't know what you're thinking unless you explain it in your posts. That will also help you not rush ahead so much)
Tylerhathan watched what was going on and asked, "You know....what is it with your killing people and things? I've never met a Dalek personally, until now, but I have heard stories. What is your goal in all of this, and what do you want any of the three of us for?"
He nodded towards the Doctor and James.

"Bloody hell,thank you Doctor!",James said gasping for air.
"The Doctor must be destroyed!The Doctor must be exterminated!",said the Dalek,aiming its blaster-hand at the Doctor.
"Not again!",shouted James.But the blaster didn't act.Its blaster-hand remained at the same position,so did the rest of it.It didn't speak,it didn't move,it just stood there motionless and silent.It was almost like it was frozen in time!
"What did you do Doctor?What did it just stop?Is this a Dalek?And,anyway,who is this one there?",he said pointing at Tylerhathan.
"Though,you better explain after we land.We still have an appointment with Amy and Zara on this Norma planet,remember?"
