Earth
The old security guard sat alone in his office,he remembered the strange story about a disabled boy with a weight problem and now that the paperwork was done he supposed he should look into it.The first step in any such investigation was to check the student database,he nonchalantly typed in the name David Ross. The computer hummed then seconds later so did the guard.
"So this mysterious stalker is a student"he said to himself. So that was that, perhaps he should just find the student and explain to him the girl found his behaviour uncomfortable.Come to think of it he didn't know what the behaviour was,the idea came into his head to run over the CCTV tapes for any sign of this boy.He downed his coffee, stood up and made for a locked room at the end of a corridor...

The gardens - Citadel - Gallifrey
The Librarian followed him to the concert room. "I tell them that how I conduct my life is none of their concern."

Lani nodded. "Sounds good. Lead the way. As you say, Allon-sy!" She grinned.

The Bringer decided it was about time to tell the Council that the TAQDIS was finished. Smirking, he used the aforementioned device to send himself into the concert hall, "Hello sirs and madam-...oh." he said, his announcer-type voice fading as he saw Aragorn and the Librarian walk in. Plainly, he was interupting something.

The Librarian looked over to the Bringer, surprised to see him here. Did he want to be part of the mission too? Or was he working to get his invention approval? He certainly had a theatrical way of showing up, whatever the reason.

The Bringer gave an uneasy wave to the Librarian, "Am I interrupting something?"

The Librarian looked around at the slowly gathering people. "Yeah, I'd think so..." She bit nervously at the inside of her lip.

The Bringer considered leaving but the Council had seen him now. They knew the TAQDIS was done. If he left he'd be punished for not immediately telling them.

Meeting Room ~ Citadel ~ Gallifrey
"Hello again. Surprised to see me?" the Reaper said.
Aragorn arrived and sat down. He smiled at the Librarian's comment, "That's what I try to tell people as well."
At the Bringer's entrance, Aragorn rolled his eyes.
____
Correon also came in and sat down next to Aragorn.
"Ah, my two favorite students," he said.
_____
Jed came into the room as well, sitting down next to Correon.
_____
Emmehujidat looked to the Reaper and nodded. He didn't wish to actually look like he knew her. She was, after all, not from a very high family. He couldn't risk ruining his reputation.
Emmehujiadat and the rest of the Council members ignored the Bringer.

(I guess I can.) Concert room ~ Citadel ~ Gallifrey
Gejasuged and Igoefryde also joined those in the room and sat at the long table.
***
The Librarian sat on the other side of Aragorn. She smiled when she heard Correon and leaned forward to see him. "Didn't I say we'd see each other again?" she joked.
She glanced over at where the Bringer was, wondering if he was just going to watch.

Citadel on Gallifrey
The Reaper let a smug smile cross her face for a second, then was all business.
Emmehujidal smiled as he saw everyone come in. It wasn't long before the whole place was filled.
He gave a wink to Gejasuged and Igoefryde.
"When are you two going to start having children?" Emmehujidal asked.
Emmehujidal began the meeting, "Okay, you all know why we are here. Since we do not currently have a Lord President, I will be leading this meeting of the High Council and guests. Other High Council members may ask any of the volunteers questions."
"You all know why we are here...we are trying to gather a team of Time Lords to go undercover to the planet known as Earth. So would any of you like to volunteer?"
____
Aragorn spoke up, "I would like to go on this mission."
_____
Correon looked proud of Aragorn. __ Emmehujiat finally made a comment to the Bringer, "Get out of here -- you don't belong at this meeting."
Although the Bringer was not Correon's favorite person, he spoke up for him. "No, any Time Lord who wants to see the proceedings of the Council may observe."
Emmehujiat frowned, but didn't object.

Concert room ~ Citadel ~ Gallifrey
"I would, as well," the Librarian said as she stood up next to him. She was afraid to scan the rest of the room for fear that she would lose her nerve.
Igoefryde exchanged looks with her husband. They both looked to the Reaper, and thought the same thing.
"We'll go." Gejasuged said.

Concert room ~ Citadel ~ Gallifrey
Jed spoke up as well, "Me too."
Emmehujidal smiled, "As has already been approved by the Council, I'm already on the list. In fact, I'll be the leader. Anyone else want to come?"
Several other Time Lords spoke up.
"And what of you, Reaper?" asked Emmehujidal. "You look interested."
"I'm going." The Reaper said said firmly.
Emmehujidal nodded. "All right then....would the candidates who wish to go remain standing. The questioning will begin now. Anyone on the Council may ask them questions.
(you guys can just make up temp. characters for this. No need to create a profile for them unless you intend on using them other times in the roleplay).
Emmehujidal nodded at Aragorn, "We will begin with you first."
Another Council member spoke up, "I must object to allowing him to go. He's the king....and think what would happen if something were to happen to him."
Emmehujidal grinned. "Any other objections or questions before I allow him to defend himself."

Concert room - Citadel - Gallifrey
The Librarian looked around to the people volunteering. She noticed the Reaper. She, being the head librarian, had heard plenty about her. She had some real competition if she was considered for the team. Jed was just a trainee, but he would probably get in. Emmehujidat was definitely going, so she didn't feel as bad if she didn't get to go, it would be one less stuffy member of the High Council for her to deal with.

Concert room - Citadel - Gallifrey The Reaper spoke up. "I wouldn't be concerned about safety, since I'm going."
Another Council member looked at Aragorn and then over at the Reaper.
"He still has a duty to Gallifrey -- he is unmarried...."
_____________
Correon decided to speak up now, since questions were allowed, "I think he should be allowed to defend himself now. He's already had two accusations made against him...and I have a question for him as well." He then turned to Aragorn.
"Now, why do you feel, out of everyone here, that you would like to go?"
The Reaper just watched the rest of the scene unfold.
Aragorn replied, "Because this mission requires people of high intelligence -- and I received the highest scores when I graduated from the Academy of anyone in my class -- in fact, of anyone ever. I have also sworn my loyalty to Gallifrey, and I am determined not to let any threat stand up against it. Please consider me.....as to the other two objections brought up, I have gone on missions before, and I am well trained in defense. The fact that I am unmarried is of little importance to the mission itself. There will be plenty of time to look for a wife once I have returned."
______ Earth Kari started walking in the direction of one of the cute little shops that she liked to go to .

The Bringer thought to himself for a moment, this mission did seem interesting, and it would be an excellent test run for the TAQDIS. Besides, he was looking a little deeper now and he was fairly sure that the Librarian and Aragorn were just friends, and she was fairly cute...eh why not? "I would like to request I join this mission to test the TAQDIS as well as have its capabilities to assist the others." he said. Report to Mod - Link to Post - Back to Top Logged
