The Librarian opened her eyes a moment after a short nap, feeling slightly better. She looked around and found that she was completely alone in her TARDIS. Her thoughts went to the Bringer, and how Emmehujidat had thought that they were together. She had to admit that a part of her liked the idea. He was an intellectual, an inventor, and was certainly not one to follow the crowd. She enjoyed their mutual dislike for Emmehujidat, their team leader.

(Kari called Lani on the phone)
As Kari waited for her best friend to answer her phone, she let out a sigh. How was she ever going to explain any of this to anyone.
Aragorn, now at her door, cleared his throat, not exactly sure what to say. Fully expecting it to be Davros again, Kari turned around, surprised to see the handsome man who had offered to help her out before.
Aragorn asked Kari, "Are you all right?"
She nodded, "Yes...but....there was this guy....." How was she going to tell the handsome man that she had seen an alien? He'd never believe her.
Aragorn looked at her with concern. "All right...and?"
Kari decided that she needed to tell someone. Her best friend hadn't answered her phone. "Well...the guy that I was talking about before....he....he's claims to be an...alien from another planet...his whole appearance changed. He doesn't look human at all...he had some kind of device."
Aragorn looked thoughtful for a moment, being fairly certain that she was was talking about a perception filter. He nodded, "All right..."
Internally, his mind raced. Could this be the alien or one of the aliens that he had been sent to find?
"What did he look like?" Aragorn asked.
"He...he's ugly...I don't know if I can describe him....but he put something under my bed...he said it could take me to his ship...."
Aragorn bent down to look under the bed, "A transmat...."
Kari looked at him in complete surprise. "You know what he's talking about?"
Aragorn nodded, "There's no time to explain now....let's see what this alien is and where he comes from."
Although he wasn't sure he wanted to bring the pretty human into this, the alien had confided in the female, and it might be useful to have her with him when he talked to the aliens - if they were hostile or if they were the ones that he was looking for.
"Come on then....help me with this," Aragorn told her.
"How?" Kari asked.
"Well....touch one of the buttons over there," Aragorn pointed to the end of the transmat. He hadn't exactly seen this type of tranmat before, but he knew how they generally worked. Kari did as instructed. Moments later they were both whisked away and found themselves on a spaceship...
