In a Secret Meeting Place ~ Citadel ~ Gallifrey
Reaper walked into the meeting room. She saw Emmehujidat in one of the chairs. the rest were empty. She had never seen this member before, but then again, sh rarely met the same person twice.
"You called?"
The gardens - Citadel - Gallifrey
Aragorn smiled, "Thank you. I'm sorry -- I didn't mean to push this on you....How is a person supposed to prepare for such a meeting?"

Emmehujidat looked at the Reaper and smiled.
"I want you to put a bid in for going on the mission to Earth," he said.
He paused for a moment.
"Do you have any ideas of how we could get rid of Aragorn?"
(Anyone else who wants to play a bad guy may...)

Kari approached the main desk of the security office. "Excuse me..." She looked around to see if someone would respond.

An elderly security guard emerged from a side room and saw two rather worried looking girls at the desk " 'ello there,what can I do for you,do you need 'elp?"he said in a voice tinged with a welsh accent.

Kari replied, "Yes, there's a person in a heavy wheelchair who claimed he was looking for me. I don't know if it means anything -- he said his name was Dave Ross -- he was just acting a bit weird...thought you should know about him."

"An 'eavy wheelchair is it? ,"said the bemused guard,"Right that should make 'im easy to spot,Dave Ross you say? and he said he was lookin' for you? well thats 'ardly illegal is it? what do you expect me to do?"he looked perplexed and sighed,"I'll check up on 'im if it'll give you peace of mind but I don't think this'll go anywhere.Come back tomorrow I'll tell you what I've found if anythin'."
With that remark he vanished into a side room and buried himself in some paperwork,he wrote a reminder on a sticky note to check up on this Dave Ross person once everything important was taken care of.

Beta's TARDIS was parked respectfully on a street corner in a vast city of ice,he sat outside a picturesque bar filled with dozens of ice warriors sipping drinks.Not far from where he sat clear blue water gushed down a canal.He pointed enthusiastically at the earth floating silently in the sky above as he smiled down the lens of his camera droid that sat on a table,"That is where I am headed," he beamed,"one of the most amazing planets in the sol system.Planet Earth,home of the Homo Reptilia and later the Tellurians,a species remarkably similar to ourselves.At the moment I am standing on this equally fascinating planet,sol four,at a very early point in its history.I wanted to visit here once before but I was ordered away because of some virus or other in the water which devastated this beautiful planet and its people."He sighed and ordered the droid to cut,he was tired and locked himself in his TARDIS away from the noise and ancient Martian chatter in the bar...

Kari nodded at the security guard, not really knowing what more to say. Before she could respond, he had gone off into the side room. "Well, that went well," she whispered to Lani.
"I guess we better head back out...still want to do the girl's night out? Or are you getting tired?"

"It's alright, what are friends for, if not to pull along for the ride?" the Librarian said with a grin. "Well, I guess we could try to think of some questions that they might ask, then think up what our answer would be, like we would do for a normal debate."

"I'll go on the mission." she said first, then replied to his question.
"You'll have to forgive me but I am new to this time. I do not know of who else has been invited on this mission, and sir getting rid of people used to be my job. Which I used to do well, and still can." she added the last bit sinisterly.
Emmehujidat stared at her. "Several qualified Time Lords have been invited to go on the mission."
He looked at the Reaper for a minute.
"How much do you know about Aragorn?" he asked.

"Ummm... let's see," the Librarian said as she tried to think of a question that one on the committee would ask. "Of all these candidates, what makes you more qualified for this mission?"

Reaper stared back.
" Should I?"
Emmehujidat rolled his eyes. "Aragorn is the king of Gallifrey -- and that is our problem. We can't just kill him.....even I would be punished if it were discovered that I arranged for his death. No, we need something else.....we need to manipulate him and his family. He still hasn't found a wife yet, which I would like you to find someone suitable for him...someone who would do what we wished. We could hide him away...we could overpower him, but we shouldn't try to kill him...at least not yet. He has too many supporters."
Reaper nodded. Of course she knew who Aragorn was, she just wanted to see his reaction, and she what kind of person he was. She got her answer.
"Well sir, before we plan to manipulate kings, I might want to know I am planning with."
Emmehujidat looked at her, completely annoyed. "Well, you should know who I am...after all, my family has always been among the most important on Gallifrey. I am running for Lord President. The others working with us are highly respected. You will find out soon enough who they are. The meeting is to start in ten minutes. Shall we go over to the main building?"
Reaper shrugged and made her way out of the room.
"I guess I will see you at the meeting then." after she walked out of the room, she practically disappeared. She was a 'ghost' after all. She had to admit to herself though, she was skilled.
Emmehujidat called out to her, "Wait, I want to hear more of your ideas. There is time..."

Aragorn replied, "Because this mission requires people of high intelligence -- and I received the highest scores when I graduated from the Academy of anyone in my class -- in fact, of anyone ever. I have also sworn my loyalty to Gallifrey, and I am determined not to let any threat stand up against it."

"Because, since I am a 'common person', I have had to work harder to gain the honorable position of head librarian of the Library of the High Council. I earned some of the highest marks in my class, second only to Aragorn here. But also because including someone like myself in the team would give even greater public favor to the Council," the Librarian replied.
"How was that?" she asked afterwards.

Aragorn smiled, "That sounded pretty good to me...hey...it's almost time for the meeting to start. I'm feeling better about this...."
He paused and then said, "I'm concerned they might bring up the fact that I'm not married again. Ever get anyone drilling you about that? Telling you that we should get married??"

The Reaper was the first to arrive in the meeting room. She knew where it was, she had been here before, just not in this time. Now all she had to do was wait for Emmehujidal and the others.

He made his way the the concert room. Seeing the Reaper, he sat next to her.

He began making his way to the concert room, assuming that others would follow.

Kari looked at Lani, "Well, I'm not really sure I actually want to buy anything, so we could really look anywhere. Why don't we try to look at the cute little shops on that street over there," she said, pointing.
It wasn't a far walk. Not only that, but it would give her a chance to think about something besides the possibility of being stalked by a creepy acting guy.
