"I'm sorry to say I haven't seen you before. I've been on leave for a couple hundred years." the Bringer explained as they arrived at the TARDIS. "Hm, nasty crash. Molecular structure's been ruptured, link to the Eye of Harmony has been weakened, several controls have been disconnected, really rough." he muttered as he placed his TAQDIS on the console, restoring it's connection to the Eye of Harmony. He then took out his Sonic Pen, carefully hovering it over all the surfaces in the TARDIS to heal the molecular structure as well as fix the controls. "Well that should do it." the Bringer said.

"Might be a good idea," Lani said.

"Oh, you'll be able to do it. I know you will. If this has near the long odds as that debating competition in the Academy, you'll win just like you'll won there," The Librarian said, fairly confident.

Aragorn studied her carefully. That's what he liked about her -- she was a real friend. She wasn't someone that was trying to just be nice to him because of who he was -- but because she actually was his friend.
"Thank you," he replied.
Then he decided to ask her what was on her mind. "You look like something is troubling you.....care to tell me what that is?" _______ Earth
Kari nodded, "Yeah...but what do we tell them? That some guy is....I don't know....asking about me? I wouldn't know what to tell them.....you know....we'd have to report something."

Lani thought about it. "Yeah, I think the best we could do is tell them that this guy looks suspicious, but other than that..."

The Librarian had almost forgotten about what had happened earlier. She frowned a bit. "It was just Emmehujidat. Just the normal day-to-day thing when the jerks decide to they need something right now."

Aragorn rolled his eyes at the mention of Emmehujidat's name.
"I know what you mean...I've had my own problems with him. I hope he doesn't get the Lord President position that he has been heavily campaigning for."
It was well known to just about everyone that Emmehujiat was running for the presidency. He had been campaigning for it for quite a while.

Emmehujidat drummed his fingers impatiently on the table. He was waiting for the other members of his little group to arrive before the big upcoming meeting.
Earth Kari nodded at Lani, "I suppose we should be paying the security office a visit then....but I'm going to feel REALLY stupid if we're making a big deal out of nothing." She looked at her friend as though she wanted her to confirm for sure whether or not she wanted to go through with reporting the strange man.

Lani nodded. "Better safe then sorry. If he's a creeper, he should be reported. If not, then he should know that he's scaring a few people."
*** The gardens - Citadel - Gallifrey
"He's not exactly a people-person, I doubt he'll get it. At least I hope he doesn't, I don't know how well I could take him coming around the library then. Honestly, if his ego grows any bigger, his brain won't have enough oxygen from having to share the same head," the Librarian said. She had some penned up resentment toward the man that was starting to bubble toward the surface.

Aragorn burst out laughing when he heard the Librarian's comments.
"Now that was pretty good," he said, still laughing, trying to recover from laughing so hard.
Then he forced himself to get serious again. "No, he really isn't a people person. And he does have a big ego, but so do the majority of Time Lords in general." He paused. "I don't think it's really professional of either of us to gossip about anyone in particular, especially not someone on the High Council."
_______ Earth Kari looked to Lani, "All right, I'm walking to the security office now, coming?"
Kari began to walk in the direction of the security office.

Earth.
Lani nodded and followed her. "Yeah, can't let Heavy-Wheels come after you."
*** The gardens - Citadel - Gallifrey
She smiled a bit when he laughed at her comment, but was still able to be serious. "No, no it's not very professional at all, I'm sorry." She loved that they agreed on many things, and loved ragging Emmehujidat, but knew that it wasn't a very good thing to stoop down to his level.

Aragorn looked at her and smiled, "It's okay....I might be eating my words sometimes. He hasn't been overly pleasant around me either...." _________ Earth
Kari glanced back at Lani and was relieved to see that Lani was actually following here.
Once they reached the security office, she processed what Lani had said. "I don't really know that he would come after me. I don't have any reason to think that he would...it's just that he was acting a little strange. He might be one of those people who has a mental health problem, being deluded into thinking that someone has a relationship with them when they don't....or he could just be a stalker. Not necessarily a dangerous stalker...just a bit of a bother. Still, it would be better to be safe..."

Gallifrey-The Library "Thank you very much for your help,"Said a very grateful Beta,"With your consent I'll include some of the footage I have of you in my documentary".He hurriedly handed the bringer a rolled up piece of paper from a wallet in his pocket,"Its psychic,"he explained,"Just check the box on it if you consent or tear the paper up if you don't.It will go on network records immediately."
Without a further word he stepped inside his TARDIS,slid the door shut and sat down in his chair. He quickly punched in some coordinates and began to fade away with a much smoother whoosh than he had landed with.Within ten minutes of travel he would reach his first stop off point, the ice cities of mars. ********** Dalek ship-Earth Davros awoke and saw a satellite image of the two girls making for security,"hmm it seems i have frightened them."He turned to his attendant Dalek and asked,"Is that connection to the institution's student records still open?access it and make an entry under the name Dave Ross,if you give the time corridor a slight warp factor the entry could be made a few months ago."
"I o-bey"the Dalek muttered turning to the nearest computer console. The ship began to pull upwards at a significant velocity as it beamed out a signal to the nearest satellite... **** Earth-London-2009
In an unassuming server room in a college store cupboard a board of tiny lights began to blink randomly,it meant nothing to most people but to those in the know it was obvious something was being uploaded to the network from a foreign source. On a long digital list displayed on a screen no one was watching an entry reading:ROSS,DAVID appeared, unnoticed by anyone.

"I'm sorry to hear that," the Librarian said.
"So, where is this big mission meeting, then?" she asked, not wanting to talk about the annoying man anymore.

Aragorn brushed the topic aside saying, "Oh...that's just politics on Gallifrey for you. No one is liked by everyone."
He took a deep breath before saying, "The meeting is in the big concert hall in the Citadel, in the main building. A lot of Time Lords are expected to be in attendance....so....it was really the only place big enough."
(Since lilaclila isn't on this board, I guess I'll just post her character's parts....)
Earth Kari pulled the doors to the security office open, walking inside. "I really don't think it's that big of a safety thing...this is just to let them know what we saw."
Indeed, no one knew that there was something being uploaded to the campus computer network.

Gallifrey
The Reaper took out a peace of paper out of her notebook. There was writing on it. Important mission. Planet Earth, you're needed.
The Timelord Council.
At the bottom, they stated their time. Reaper walked into her TARDIS and set the location. After arriving, she locked her TARDIS and walked in the Council building.

Aragorn looked at the Librarian, "No, I want you there....it'll be okay. You'll be with me...and I could use all the support that I can get. You're my best friend...."
He was starting to get very nervous about the upcoming meeting.

The Librarian smiled and nodded. "Alright, I'll go... for you, my friend, I'll go... perhaps we could do some preparations before the meeting starts, just so we feel a bit more prepared?"
Preparations were always good. It gave her a sense of security.
