Nathan nodded at Koschei, always worried about this conversation he would have to have with whomever he befriended until his legs were right. He could still see the slight hesitation in his friend's expression. Would Koschei continue to accept him?
He watched as Koschei touched one of the braces that he'd taken off.
"Yeah....Nothing I can do about it," Nathan replied. "Unless I wear them, my legs won't get better....so.....I have to."
__________ Emmehudjidat smirked at Drasha, "Well, I will need proof that you are doing what you're supposed to be doing. First, I would like information about our ex-King....and then I'll need proof that you are spying on the children -- yes....that other one insulted my son...so I want him watched carefully as well."
_______ Tylerhathan took the fastest route that he knew to the Librarian's house, knocking first on her door. Receiving no answer, he decided to check her garden.
It didn't take him long to get there, arriving on the scene. The first thing that he noticed when he entered the garden was his son Tyler and another boy -- one that he had recognized from the registration. Somewhat confused as to why Tyler was in the garden in the first place, and how he had gotten to know this other boy, he looked to the Librarian.
However, another glance at Tyler told him that his son was having an asthma attack. Confused as to why his son wasn't doing anything with his inhaler, he then remembered that it was he who had it. He had taken the boys swimming the evening before, and Tyler had asked him to hold onto his inhaler for him. Tylerhathan had simply forgotten to give it back to him afterward.
Seeing Tyler, he got out the boy's inhaler and gave it to him. Tyler took it from him and used it.
He looked at the Librarian.

The Librarian smiled softly at him and nodded. She knew then what he looked like. It was good to see her old friend again. Even if it was under these circumstances.

(Internet will be shut off, so I won't be able to reply - thunderstorm)
Tylerhathan, while holding Tyler, nodded to the Librarian.
Tyler was clinging to his father, which he often did whenever his allergies or asthma were bothering him. He didn't cling quite as much as he did when he was younger. The boy had bad allergies, and used to cry into his father's shoulder, whenever his eyes burned or whenever his nose was running.
"We really shouldn't be there," he said to everyone present, including Tyler. He couldn't tell his son why, but he didn't want any of them to get into trouble. No one was supposed to know who Tylerhathan was, and he knew that the Librarian knew. Tyler wasn't allowed to find out.

Rodaj frowned in concern for his friend, but nodded to Tylerhathan and got to his feet.
If an adult didn't want him somewhere where he apparently wasn't supposed to go, then he'd obey him. It had to be getting close to meeting time anyway..
"Will...will he be okay?" He asked quietly, looking up at Tylerhathan somewhat nervously. He recognized him as the man who had helped him register earlier, and gave a shy smile to show it.
_______ Koschei tilted his head and sat back onto his heels, staring at Nathan's legs as they were out of their braces. They really didn't look all that bad...not perfect by any means, but certainly not horrible.
He made no move to get up or leave....he'd seen this secret that Nathan had done a somewhat good job of keeping, and the more he looked at them, the more he found that they didn't matter. He still made no move to get up and leave.
"Do they hurt?"

Tyler didn't want to move from his father. He still clung to him, tightly.
Tylerhathan picked up Tyler and said, "Come on...I have some more things to do in the capital."
He sent to the Librarian, "I'm so sorry about everything."
Tyler pointed to Rodaj and announced, "That's Rodaj....he's my new friend....can he come with us wherever we're going?"
Tylerhathan nodded at his son. "Sure...I don't see why not."
To Rodaj, Tylerhathan nodded. "Yes, he'll be all right. He just needs to take it easy for the next few hours, but he will be all right." Tylerhathan smiled back at the boy. "Trust me. If he needs to use the inhaler again, he can."
__________ Nathan noticed Koschei's reaction, seeing how he remained where he was, looking at Nathan's legs and still staying.
Nathan nodded at Koschei, "Sometimes....not all the time...but sometimes, yes....when I walk a lot."

The Librarian sighed and nodded. It was nice to see him and his sons again.
*** Kyra sighed and held her knees to her chest. She wished she knew telepathy like some of the kids, though they weren't allowed to know.

As the father left carrying his son, a new little kid approached the Librarian. (Rodaj is welcome to go with them, if you want, Metacrisis.)
Eiougougol, having gotten bored from walking around in the woods, went over to the Librarian and started throwing rocks at her. He'd heard about the Librarian, as had many of the other children. His father had told him about her, and so he decided to take his father up on a suggestion that he'd made earlier -- to harass her.
(We're almost to where Tyler will go to the library and meet Kyra)

(Okay)
Rodaj smiled, relieved, and walked alongside Tylerhathan, glad that his friend was going to be alright.
_____
Koschei blinked.
"Oh..." He looked around, wondering where exactly Nathan's house was, and if he felt well enough to walk. "Um...can you walk?" He asked. "I could help you..how far is it to your house?"

Tylerhathan, while they were heading off, asked Tyler, "Where's your brother."
Tyler shrugged, "I don't know. He said he was going in this direction." Tyler pointed towards the main buildings in the Citadel. He was afraid to tell him that he and Nathan had figured out how to use telepathy. They weren't supposed to use it yet....not to mention that they weren't supposed to even know how to use it.
Tylerhathan sighed. It was hard to be a single parent to two young boys.
"We'll have to look for him...I don't want him getting into any trouble," his father replied.
Tylerhathan decided to check the library. His son seemed to be drawn to books. Both of his boys liked to read, but especially Nathan.
As Tyler was still being carried along, he glanced down at a girl sitting on the steps. He smiled at her and waved, never having seen her before. He hoped that she would be nice.
Tylerhathan walked into the library, still carrying Tyler.
Tyler was glad that Rodaj had stayed with him, glancing at his new friend every once in a while. Tylerhathan, too was glad that this friend had elected to come along with them. He would eventually have to put Tyler down, and if he had a friend to be with him, he would feel better about letting Tyler down. __________ Nathan glanced at his legs and then back at Koschei. "Well, not very well without the braces on. But I should be okay if I put them back on. Thanks, though. Um....did you want to see me try to walk without them on? Just so that you see?"
Nathan figured that if Koschei hadn't rejected him yet, he might as well show him everything regarding his problem.
"Oh, and my house isn't very far away, really....."

The Librarian frowned at the boy throwing rocks, standing up, going toward the boy with an exasperated expression. She was sick of these children throwing rocks at her.
*** Kyra looked up at the boy and his father and friend. She smiled softly and waved back, though she really didn't feel too happy.

Eiougougol smirked when he remembered the name that the Librarian often called his father. "You always call my father Blueblood. That's not my father's name, you stupid idiot!"
He stuck his tongue out at her, not at all afraid of her when he saw that she had gotten up and was approaching him..
"I'm going to camp soon..and then I'm going to the Academy..." he bragged. __________________ Tylerhathan searched around the library for a librarian that he was familiar with -- Dahlia. Not seeing her, he went over to the reception desk and rang the bell.
Tyler watched his father nervously, and then glanced down at his new friend. "So what do you think of the library?" he whispered to him.

As the Librarian walked, she picked up a sharp rock. She stared murderously at the child. She didn't care about what happened to her anymore, execution would be a release.
*** Dahlia looked around the end of a book shelf as she replaced some of the books. "Just a moment," she told him.

Eiougougol snorted when he saw the Librarian approach him.
"Daddy says that you're a traitor to the Time Lords."
He could see that he was making her upset, which pleased him all the more. "What are you going to do with that rock?" he asked, for the first time slightly afraid, but he tried not to show it.
"I bet you can't even throw that thing at me -- your aim is probably as bad as your speech, since you're stupid and everything...."
However, the boy was eying a path nearby, trying to estimate the amount of time it would take him to reach it.
"I'll tell my daddy on you if you hurt me...." ____________ Tylerhathan nodded, "All right," he said, waiting where he stood, at the front desk of the library. As he ha looked around earlier, he'd noticed that the place seemed to be somewhat in a mess. There were books thrown here and there, some having landed open, pages bent and some even torn.
Silently, he wondered to himself what had happened.
Tyler clung to his father, feeling somewhat better, but he knew that his father would probably be putting him down soon.

The Librarian continued over to the boy, rock in hand, keeping it so that at any moment she could slash it at him. Perhaps then he could learn to leave her alone and not mess with her. Or perhaps her suffering could end with a confrontation with his insufferable father. She wanted Emmehujidat to come, she was done with it all. Maybe she could kill the child permanently and keep him from harming others. She could die content with that thought.
*** Dahlia soon returned, picking up some of the books off the floor. "I do apologize. This time of year is always so insane. It's as if the children that come in here have no sense of propriety and common sense. Of course, your sons are always a delightful exception." She smiled at him.

Tylerhathan, "Yeah...I'm looking for my son. He has light brown hair, brown eyes....he's small for his age....and he's eight. His name is Nathan...well, it's actually longer. Sometimes he goes by Theta. I thought he might be in here."
Tyler looked at Dahlia and smiled at her. "He's my brother..."
Tylerhathan looked back at Dahlia, "Wait...you know him -- you know both of my boys?"
He smiled back at the compliment she was given him.
"No need to apologize," Tylerathan finished. "I'm just looking for Nathan." _________ Eiougougol picked up a few rocks of his own, preparing to defend himself if need be.
He backed up a bit, trying to decide when he should make a run for it.
