Dahlia smiled. "I see him practically every day. With or without his brother. Unfortunately, I really haven't seen him in here recently. And by recently, I mean within the last hour." She chuckled at her little joke.
*** The Librarian soon came to the boy, bringing up the sharp stone. She muttered angry curses under her breath.

"Thanks," Tylerhathan responded as he turned to go. He offered Dahlia a smile, "Well, I'm trying to find him, so if you see him, please let me know."
Tylerhathan found Dahlia to be pleasant, and he much preferred her to some of the other librarians that worked in that particular library. It really wasn't too much of a surprise to learn that she hadn't seen him. He thought he would check the library, though, just in case.
Tyler was getting heavy.
"I'm going to have to put you down soon..." he said to Tyler, as he walked out of the library. _______ Eiougougol's eyes grew large as he saw her come up to him. He would have laughed at her speech, but he was far too scared to make fun of her at the moment -- seeing the sharp rock in her hand.
Making up his mind in seconds, he bolted for the path that he had eyed earlier. He attempted to reach it, but didn't know if the Librarian would pursue him, or worse, do something with that rock that she had in her hands.

The Librarian did pursue, ready to strike him as soon as he was close enough. But as he ran, in sheer terror, far away from her garden, she stopped, smirked, and walked calmly back to to where she had been weeding, gently putting the sharp rock down. It was about time someone put that child in his place and she felt accomplished for it.
*** Kyra sat at the steps of the library as Tylerhathan and Tyler started to make their way out.

Rodaj frowned slightly and followed after Tylerhathan. He didn't really want to leave yet....but he also didn't want to leave his friend.
"Where are you going?" He asked quietly, knowing it was out of place to question an adult, but curious none the less. _______
The librarian who had spoken to Elougougol earlier sat at his desk near the entrance and frowned as he caught sight of the two boys that matched the description he had been given.
He frowned and cleared his throat as Tylerhathan passed, hoping to stop them before they left the library completely. The floor was still littered with abused books, and he intended to see that things were set right.
________
Koschei bit his lip lightly and arched an eyebrow. He couldn't deny that he would've liked to see just how well his friend could walk without the support of his braces, but he was also interested in seeing his house before they had to return to the Citadel.
"No, that's alright..you can show me another time.." He smiled at him. "So, your house is near here, then?" He asked, looking around where they sat.

Eiougougol ran all the way back to where his father was still talking with Drasha. Interrupting once more, he started crying loudly. Emmehudijdat looked from Drasha to his son, running over to where his son was crying.
"What is it, child?" he asked Eiougougol.
Eiougougol replied, "That mean Librarian woman was going to throw a sharp rock at me. I think she wanted to either hurt me or kill me. She was really mean looking. She needs to be put in a mental institution." He started crying more.
"It's all right, son. Daddy is here. I'll take care of it -- don't worry. As much as I would like to put her in a mental institution, I have a better plan." He smirked.
He hoped that the Librarian felt guilty about what had happened to her best friend, Tylerhathan. To make her feel more guilty would bring him more pleasure. Knowing that Tylerhathan's children liked to hang around the library, and as a way of payback for the humiliation that they had already caused for his son earlier that day, he had no doubts that he would be able to find at least one of them. He knew what the children looked like. A particularly nasty look on his face revealed what he was thinking. If he hurt or killed one of the children, that would cause the Librarian to suffer.
Having made up his decision, he nodded, "Daddy will take care of it all -- don't worry."
A look of glee crossed Eiougougol's face. Everyone who hurt him would pay for it.
To Drasha he announced, "Do excuse me...I have some things to deal with at the moment. We will talk again later." ___________ Nathan nodded, "All right.....I just need to get these back on and we'll be off to my house."
He reached for one of the braces and began putting it back on. He looked up and nodded, "Yeah, it's near here -- not too far away."

Just as they were about to go outside, Tyler looked for the little girl that he had seen before. His eyes locked onto her. He was about to say hello to her when the sound of someone clearing his voice made both his father and Tyler look at the person who had spoken the words.
Tylerhathan would have to answer the other child later -- this new friend of Tyler's. It was clear that someone wanted his attention, and it was an adult -- one of the other librarians who worked there.
Tylerhathan Tyler down. He looked at him seriously, "Now, I have important things to do. Stay here while I finish what I need to do. It seems that someone wants my attention right now."
Then he asked him, "Do you have your inhaler now?"
Tyler nodded.
"Good...put it in your pocket, and don't lose it."
Tyler nodded, putting it in his pocket. "I'll be back for you in a bit."
Tylerhathan then turned around and walked back into the library. Once inside, he asked the librarian, "Hello....is there something that you wanted from me?" He was polite about how he asked his question.
Tyler, meanwhile, went over to Kyra and then said. "Hey," he said.
"Do you think we'll ever get to be Time Lords?" Tyler directed this question to both the new girl and the little boy that had been hanging around him. ______________ Correon, the library with a smile on his face.
Correon, a member of the High Council and as well as being a professor at the Academy, his meeting over, headed over to the library. He passed the children as he went by, a smile on his face.

Kyra smiled at him. "Hi..." She still looked very lost. Then came the question. She frowned and looked at her feet. If she didn't find her mother she knew that she wouldn't become a Time Lord.

Tyler grinned at Kyra, "Well, people call me Tyler, although my real name is longer."
As he studied her longer, he began to frown. "Hey....are you all right?"
To him, it looked like this girl was scared or lost or something else. He wasn't sure what. Maybe the girl was just a sister of someone else. Maybe she wouldn't even be going to the Academy.
Tyler then added, "I...I'm sorry....I thought you might be eight or here for registration or something. I didn't know..."
________
Correon entered the library, looking for one of the librarians...a specific one.
He looked to see if he could spot Dahlia anywhere, preferring her to any of the other librarians.

"I am eight..." Kyra said, holding her knees to her chest. "But I don't know that I'll be able to go to the camp... Let alone become a Time Lord..."
*** Dahlia was repairing and replacing some of the books in that moment.

Tyler said to Kyra, "It's nice to meet you...what's your name? I'm kind of nervous about the camp....I've never been around other kids before...not really, at least."
He frowned again at her answer, "Wait...but why don't you think you'll get to become a Time Lord or go to camp?"
He'd never met a child like this who seemed to have given up on the future and seemed down. He glanced at his friend in hopes that he would offer his own encouragement. Tyler had been honest with the girl when he told her that he was nervous about camp.
_____
Correon finally spotted Dahlia. "There you are! I was wondering if you wanted to help with the camp."
He noticed that she seemed to be putting away an repairing books. "What a mess....sorry that you have to deal with this every year. Children shouldn't really be allowed into the library unless they are with an adult."

"I'm Kyra... though it's actually longer. I'd rather not say that mouthful." She frowned. "I can't find my mother... she has my registration papers and I'm afraid that I won't be able to get signed up in time."
*** Dahlia nodded. "Yes, that is what I wish would happen."

Tyler nodded. "I did live out in the country, but we just moved.....something about Emmehujidat ordering him to. Emmehujidat is some guy on the Council that my dad has to do whatever he says....mostly landscaping work. I don't really like Emmehujidat."
He didn't know why this girl was making him so nervous -- he said those things mostly because he was fishing for words to say.
He then thought about what she had said. "Wait...doesn't your mother want you to go to camp? If so....then maybe she has already registered you. My dad registered me. Have you asked her? You could use telepathy or something."
_____
Correon, with a smile on his face said to Dahlia, "Well, we are in need of camp counselors...you know...someone to sort of keep an eye on the children. You COULD make it library policy that no child would be allowed into the library without adult supervision...."

"I know she wants me to go, but I can't find her... and I don't know telepathy," Kyra said. She knew that she didn't get to meet very many people. "I live in the country too..." But why did this boy make her even more nervous than usual?
*** "Oh, I really am sorry, Correon, but I have my hands full already as it is without having to help as a counselor, though I really do appreciate the offer," Dahlia said. "And I wouldn't ban every child from coming on their own. There are some exceptions."

Tyler nodded, "All right....if your mum wants you to go to the Academy, then she'll register you. Don't worry...but....but if you wanted to contact her telepathically, I could teach you. I know we're not allowed, but my brother and I figured it out...so...."
He glanced away uncomfortably, afraid that she would say yes -- and yet, at the same time, hoping that she would. ____________
Correon nodded, "I understand. It's not your sister that you're worried about, is it...that is preventing you from being a camp counselor?"
He nodded again at what she had said. "I'm sure there are some children that would be all right coming on their own. Whether or not you want to ban them would be up to you. I'll let you think on it for a while."

Kyra looked at Tyler. "Would you? It would be really helpful. I get so lost sometimes."
*** "No, no," Dahlia said. "I'm just worried about how this place will do without me."
