Correon sighed. It was that time of year again -- the eight year old children of Gallifrey were to head off to camp soon. This was a time in which the professors at the Academy would be watching the children to see which ones might or might not be worthy of going to the Academy.
This tended to be a stressful time for him, as he was on the High Council and also a professor. He would have to decide who was and who was not worthy. They could only take so many students.
He usually developed close attachments to some of the students during this time -- favorites. He couldn't help it. These attachments were not romantic in any way; rather, these feelings were friendship.

The Bringer walked toward the city, just to see how the day would play out. It brought back memories of better times.
Gandalf walked toward the registration building, with a sigh he found himself once again thinking about who his parents could be, that is, if they were alive.
Djorn also walked toward the registration building alone. His parents were both at work but they all knew that Djirn could take care of himself. "Hopefully I won't have to deal with too many idiots." he muttered.

Meanwhile, a little boy named Nathanufdofehadik ran out of his house. His family had just moved to a new house and neighborhood on Gallifrey. He didn't know any of the kids in the area.
At his old house, he and his brother were the only real kids in the area. They had lived out in the country, away from everyone. Of course their family went into the main part of the planet sometimes, but his dad didn't really have many friends. Since Nathanufdofehadik hadn't gone to school yet, he didn't really know anyone his own age...besides his brother.

Emmehujidat approached Correon with a smirk.
"The camping trip will be productive, and my son is going to make it to the Academy."
Correon sighed, "Yes, I am aware that your son is eight years old. I'm sure he will do well."
"Of course he will," Emmehujidat bragged. "He's already doing the math problems of children typically five years older than him. He's going to President someday."
Correon shrugged, wishing to get out of this man's presence as soon as possible.
"I take it, then, that you are on the committee of making final decisions?" Correon asked.
Emmehujidat nodded, "As always."
Correon very much disliked Emmehujidat. It was largely because of Emmehujidat that Aragorn had had to regenerate.....

As the Bringer entered the city he noticed two rather familiar faces, "Hello Correon, it's certainly been a while. How have you been?" he asked, completely ignoring Emmehujidat.
Gandalf and Djorn continued their separate treks to registration.

Tylerhathan, having just moved himself and his two children to a new house, knew that he would have to go into the capital and talk to someone there, filling out paperwork.
His two boys were also both eight now, and he would have to register them for the possibility of going to the Academy. He'd been putting it off for a long time.
He'd just set out from his house, going towards the city. He'd made it a point to not talk to other Time Lords, if at all possible. He hadn't really had a good conversation with anyone for eight years.
________ Tylerelrug and his brother had just had a fight, and he wasn't about to go running after him. Instead, he decided to walk into the woods behind his families new house.
_______ Correon looked up at the Bringer. "Hello," he replied. "I hadn't heard...are you on the Committee as well?"
Emmehujidat glared at the Bringer. "Not if I have a say."
_____
Tylerhathan looked around. He hadn't been in the capital in 8 years either. Things had changed a bit. He was looking slightly lost. _________ Correon nodded. "All right...well....I think that we could use you in the registration office. Believe it or not, some parents haven't put in an application for their parents.
He noticed that the Bringer had ignored Emmehujidat. He silently wondered if Emmehujidat had had something to do with Kari's death. Oh, he knew about it. It was a murder.
Emmehujidat hated to be ignored, "Well, aren't you going to address me?"

The Bringer smirked as he turned to Emmehujidat, "Honestly, I'd rather have not. I don't know if you've realized this, but I don't like you." he then turned back to Correon, "In a way," he said, "I received an honorary invitation due to my 'objective demeanor' but I'm still debating on whether to do it or not. And before you say anything Emmehujidat, you were informed of this, and I was not required to reply to the invitation in advance.

Correon nodded, "All right...then, if you should decide to help out, go to the government building...and give them this." He scribbled down a note about having the Bringer work there.
Emmehujidat practically screamed at the Bringer, "How could someone as low as you talk to me like that! How dare you!" If there were not witnesses present, he would have smacked the Bringer. "Don't you have anything to say to me, you insolent? That should have been your Time Lord title.

The Bringer chuckled to himself as he walked away, "After all this time your insults haven't improved a bit." he said as he left towards the Librarian's garden, it had been a while since he'd last "talked" to her, she could use some company.

Kyra bit her lip a little as she looked around, trying to find registration. She wasn't used to the big city, so many people.
*** The Librarian was tending her garden far away from the hustle and bustle of the Citadel, minding her own business.

Tylerhathan made his way to the government building that he would have to register his children at. He watched as other parents registered their chidren, although some kids had come without their parents. He smiled at the sight. It was always an exciting time to see the children get excited about the camping. His own two boys were now at that age.

Rodajeitmosos (Rodaj for short) approached registration with his head down, hair in his face, as he nervously clutched a slip of paper -a completed registration form- in his hands. This was going to be exciting; at least, he'd hoped it would be. The chance to meet new people filled him with conflicting joy and dread. He really wanted to be accepted; it would make his parents proud... but.. he'd heard things about the initiation ceremony that truthfully terrified him.
As his head was down, he didn't quite see where he was going and almost bumped into the man in font of him.
"S-sorry!" He gasped, looking up at Tylerhathan.

Tylerhathan glanced down at the child who had bumped into him. Backing up a bit, he asked the child, "Hello there. What is your name? Are your parents around?"
From the looks of it, this child was eight years old, and was likely to be attending the camp. He knew that many Time Lords looked down upon children, expecting them to fend for themselves and to bother the adults as little as possible. He glanced at the crumpled registration form in the boy's hand.
(We need someone to play the little Master, as the person who plays the Master doesn't seem to want to play him in this board)

(Hm...I could play him, if no one else wants to.)
"R-Rodaj..." He mumbled, eyes fixed firmly on the paper in his hands. He knew he oughtn't to talk to strangers...but this man did sound friendly enough. "And my parents are at home. They said I should do this myself." His cheeks flushed in embarrassment and he looked up at Tylerhathan curiously through the fringe of his hair. "There are so many people here..." He said softly, tightening his grip on the paper as if it were a security blanket.

(yeah....you can play him, if you would like we could also use someone to play an adult who will register them -- guess we could each play one of them. I'll play an adult at the registration table when it comes to your characters, and you can play one when my characters are involved. ) Tylerhathan nodded down at the little boy, "Yes...yes there are a lot of people here. You'll be just fine if you stay close to me until you get yourself registered. There are always a lot of people when parents are trying to register for the Academies. I've helped with it more than once. It was at that moment that a woman working in registration approached the young Rodaj. "You are here to be registered, I expect?" she asked him in high Gallifreyan. She always enjoyed it when the poorer children couldn't understand her. Then she would have to speak in the more common tongue. Still, this particular woman never passed up a chance to humiliate children of lesser families. She couldn't judge what type of family this boy belonged to, but she would soon find out.
