Drasha considered his question for a long moment. She hadn't been employed that far back...she had heard of the royal family attending the Academy, but not which chapter they were sorted into, or what they looked like.
She frowned slightly. "No, I wasn't."
________ Rodaj stumbled and tried to catch himself before he hit the concrete, caught off guard by Elougougol's shove. He bit his lip hard as he fell and frowned, tasting blood.
"Why are you doing this?" He asked, frowning at the other boy. "You could have just gone around us...we haven't done anything to you..."

Emmehujidat nodded, realizing that he might have made a mistake by asking her that question --- giving her too much information in his question. From the look on her face, he could tell that she might be slightly confused -- or rather, she at least had no idea what he was talking about. He knew all too late that perhaps she wasn't sure what chapter Aragorn might have belonged to.
However, he had received an answer. Pleased that the children's identities would remain undetected, at least by her, he nodded. Most Gallifreyans were unaware that Aragorn had even gotten married, let alone had children.
Attempting to catch himself from his mistake, he responded in a similar confused manner, "Hmm...that is a shame. I was hoping to learn what chapter(s) the family had been a part of. Upon reflecting on the fact that children will be entering camp, the thought dawned on me that the royal family, when it existed, would have had to go through this as well. Too bad they are all dead." _________ Eiougougol smirked again. "Well, I could have gone around you, but I didn't want to. Oh, and I'm telling my daddy on you two -- you talked back to me...oh...and you tried to start a fight with me."
Gloating at the boys, he continued his way to the steps of the library.
Tyler picked himself off the ground, dusting himself off. Since they hadn't actually been up on the steps, he wasn't really hurt. He had a bleeding lip from where he'd fallen, and a few minor scrapes, but he was all right. He glanced at Rodaj. "Are you all right?"
For the moment, he wouldn't worry about what the mean little boy had said to him. As far as he was concerned, those were just empty threats. Never having seen him before, Tyler had no way of knowing who the boy's father was.

She nodded, having caught the confused tone his response had taken. "Indeed, it is a shame..." But what purpose would the information serve? What is it you 're trying to do, really? She wondered. No one was this interested in the history of the royal family nowadays...
"If you'll pardon my asking, Councilman," she sighed, shifting the stack of papers to her other arm. "Why are you so interested?" __________
"Yeah..I'm alright..." Rodaj said, rubbing his scraped hands where he had caught himself on the ground. His lip was still bleeding, but it didn't seem to bother him that much. He smiled back at Tyler and looked around curiously. "Who was that boy?" He asked, frowning again. "He was very mean..."

Tyler shrugged, his own lip bleeding from his fall, as he glanced back at Rodaj. "I'm not really sure....I don't think I've ever seen him before, but he looked upper class...so....I don't know...."
Feeling a sting around his knee area, he decided to inspect it for injury. Lifting up his robe just enough for him to see the injury, he frowned at the blood on it. It didn't look bad, but it was an annoyance to him. He pulled his robe back down.
"Hmm....maybe we should come back to the library later....maybe the mean kid will be gone by the time we come back. I don't really want to go inside with him there....so maybe we can go over to the garden now...or.....hey...maybe we can find my brother...."
The twins had figured out how to communicate with one another telepathically, although they hadn't told anyone. Not even their father knew. This had been a recent development, as they were determined to figure it out before starting off at camp. Both of them knew that they weren't technically allowed to do it -- to telepathically communicate without the proper instruction, but they didn't care. Both of them were a bit rusty with it, being new to it.
Tyler sent Nathan a message, "Where are you?"
Nathan sent back, "A garden....not far from the Citadel..."
Tyler sent back, "I....I think that's where I wanted to go....hey....how do you get there?"
Nathan, surprised that Tyler knew about it -- he'd gone there by himself before, but never with his brother, sent the directions to Tyler. Nathan assumed that Tyler was going to go to the garden later, knowing how bad his brother was with directions. He also wasn't sure that he really wanted to talk to Tyler right then. He was still slightly upset from the fight that they'd had earlier. __________ Nathan glanced at Koschei and the woman, "Hey....it was really nice to see you. I hope that you find someone to talk to or whatever soon....but I have to go."
He then told Koschei, "You can come with me, if you want....or you can stay here...." Nathan got up slowly, unaware that his robe moved a bit, exposing the braces on his legs for a second.
___________ Emmehujidat shrugged at Drasha. "I don't need a reason...I was just thinking.....thinking about the past days...my history lessons....that sort of thing."
He scowled at Drasha, not liking to have any information demanded of him in that fashion. However, he could tell she was still interested in the topic. Deciding to throw her a bone, he smirked.
"Well, that is...I was wondering if someone might be willing to find out the information for me...for a special price....but if you know nothing....well...it is unfortunate. I guess I will have to ask someone else." _________ Elougougol entered the library and began making a mess, throwing books here and there, tossing them open on the floor. He enjoyed making other people pick up his messes. He hoped that certain librarians would be inside so that he could see their reactions.

Koschei glanced back at the woman, then rose to his feet as well. He was getting rather tired of the garden, and wanted to see where Nathan would head next. When he rose, he happened to glimpse the braces on Nathan's legs when his robe was shifted slightly, and arched an eyebrow, but didn't say anything yet.
"Hey..where are you headed?" ________ Drasha frowned. How dare he brush her aside in such a manner! It had been completely uncalled for, considering how cordial he'd acted towards her not but a minute before... But, before she could get herself too worked up, Emmehujidat's words caught her attention. Now things were starting to get interesting...
"Oh?...what sort of price?" She asked calmly, showing partial interest. _____
A librarian looked up from his station near the entrance and frowned at the destruction the boy was causing.
"Excuse me..." he said mildly, clearing his throat. "I would appreciate it if you refrained from making such a mess. This is a place of silence and order, and you can't go about trashing things."

The Librarian shook her head. She saw just how much like Kari Nathan looked. She frowned a bit. This was one of the twins. She perked up when she felt a tingle in the back of her head.
*** Kyra frowned. "Sorry..." She then tried to look around for her mother. Where could she be? She frowned as she started wandering, looking for Krysta.

Nathan shrugged at Koschei, "I don't really know yet....we could go look at the river...or go down to the lake...or we could go to my place...or...where do you want to go?"
He then looked back at the Librarian, "Oh....maybe I'll see you again sometime. I like this place -- this garden." He saw the frown on her face and assumed that maybe she didn't like him or children. "Or...not...sorry for bothering you."
Knowing how some Gallifreyan adults acted towards children, he didn't want to get into any trouble. Nathan stepped out of the garden, waiting for his new friend to follow him. __________ Elougougol frowned in disappointment. He had hoped for one of the other librarians to be working there that day. At least this man seemed to give him the respect that he felt was properly due him. He looked up at the man and frowned.
"I'm not the one who did this," he lied. "But there are these two boys near the steps of the library...they did it and told me about it. I'm just trying to clean up their mess."

Koschei smiled and moved to stand beside Nathan. He glanced down at his robe and then around at the garden once more. "Going back to your place sounds alright...my parents won't care where I've gone so long as I check in before meet-up this evening." ______ The librarian frowned suspiciously. "Really?" He glanced back at the entrance. The boy's claim was believable..there were a lot of children around today... "Outside, you say? What do they look like?"

Tyler glanced at Rodaj, "Do you want to come with me to find my brother? You don't have to...just wanted to find him."
_________ Emmehujidat smiled at Drasha, "Well....let me see here....oh...maybe about 100 credits...." He glanced at her to see if that would be enough to keep her enticed. He needed to determine just how far she would be willing to go for him, and whether or not he could rely on her for his own interests. _______ Waleffijegrutadekuj, another little boy who was the proper age to be registered for the camp, happened to run by the garden. He saw Keliloxlia weeding and smirked when he saw her. He'd heard about her-- the weird, stupid, insane woman who couldn't speak.
"Hey there, Stupid," he said.
He then noticed Nathan and Koschei there as well. Not really knowing who they were, he assumed that they were there to also harass the Librarian. That's the only thing he's way he'd seen other children act towards her.

Nathan grinned at Koschei. He finally had a friend that he could invite over to his house, and have someone to play with besides his twin.
"Okay...come on....." he said to Koschei as he began to walk in the direction of his house. ________ Elougougol nodded. To him, it looked like this librarian was believing him. He could gloat later. Now wasn't the time, as he needed to get the boys into trouble.
He described both boys to the librarian. "Better hurry, or you probably won't catch them."

The Librarian shook her head at Waleffijegrutadekuj. Why did the children always have to pick on her. They didn't know her, what she had been through, what she had done to help keep Gallifrey safe. She went back to weeding, ignoring the insolent child.

Waleffijegrutadekuj looked at the Librarian, assuming that she was deaf, since she hadn't really seemed to respond to his insults. Maybe, he reasoned, she was too stupid to understand his words. That increased the pleasure in the activity all the more.
"You're a stupid, insane woman...you never make any sense. My parents and everyone always talk about you. I bet you never even went to the Academy."
Waleffijegrutadekuj stuck his tongue out at the Librarian. "You can't do anything to me...and if you try, my dad will sue you."
He started running off into the woods. ________ Nathan was already too far away from Waleffijegrutadekuj to hear what he had said to the lonely woman. He looked around, hoping that Koschei was nearby. He didn't want his new friend to get lost.

The Librarian frowned and wrapped her arms around her knees. Even though she couldn't speak properly, she could understand every word that was said, and they didn't feel any better with time.
*** Kyra continued to look for her mother, very lost. She had been in the citadel only once before, and it had changed a bit since then.

Rodaj smiled and nodded, keeping close to Tyler. He wouldn't mind meeting his brother...he'd heard a lot about him in the past few hours, and besides, he wasn't too keen on getting bullied by Elougougol again, which they almost certainly would if they hung around the library any more today.
"Sure, I'd love to come.." _________
Koschei was a few feet behind Nathan, but catching up quickly as they walked. He'd figure out who the new boy was later. He was sure they'd meet again at the camp. He tilted his head and laughed softly as he caught up to Nathan.
"You don't think your father will mind?" Not that Koschei cared much, of course. He just knew that some parents were very protective of their children, and felt more than a little odd about letting strange children into their houses. ________
Drasha tilted her head in thought. 100 credits was quite a lot...but, surely she could get more out of him, if she played her cards right. 100 was a very nice amount to start with, though, and access to the records wasn't hard to come by for a professor like her.
She smiled. "Alright..."

Tyler smiled at Rodaj, "Awesome....thanks for sticking by me..."
Outside of his brother, he hadn't really had anyone to hang out with and play with, having been rejected by the other children in his area. Although Tyler wasn't the best with directions, he did have an excellent memory. He remembered who his brother told him to get to the garden. Within a few minutes, that particular garden came into view.
He frowned when he saw the woman sitting there, looking lonely and hurt. He knew that this was the lady that he'd told Rodaj about -- the one who had been a friend or acquaintance of his father's...the woman who had regenerated at the same time as his father.
Tyler whispered to Rodaj, "It's her..."
He approached the woman and smiled. "Hello," he greeted her.
Glancing around for Nathan, he the Librarian, "Hey, have you seen my brother? He should be around her somewhere....he said he was here." Knowing that she couldn't speak, he sighed.
Tyler, realizing that his brother had left, said out loud. "Oh......I thought he was still here.....where did he go?" He knew she couldn't speak, but maybe she could point.
___________ As Nathan continued to walk with Koschei to his house, Nathan shoook his head. "No....I don't think so. It's never happened before...never had a friend over. He should be happy that I'm making friends with people besides my brother....."
He stopped partway there, his legs making him tired again. Sighing, he decided that he might as well tell Koschei now. If Koschei didn't want to be his friend anymore because of his legs, then at least he would have his disappointment now and not later.
He then told Koschei, "There's something you should know about me...." _______ Emmehudijat nodded, grinning at Drasha approvingly. "Very good...I would like a report by the end of the first week of class."
Seeing that she wasn't above doing something like this for him, he filed the situation away in his brain. Now, the question would be, what information would she come up with, and how detailed would it be? He needed to find out the quality of the spy he was considering using.
