Prologue: The TARDIS shuddered as it spun out of control, draw inexorably towards... What? "I refuse to believe that I am seeing what I am seeing," the Meddler snarled, working the controls with reckless abandon. "I refuse. Giant keyhole-shaped holes do not appear out of nowhere in the Vortex!" The enormous keyhole, black against the howling rainbow of the Vortex, seemed to disagree. Struggling, the time rotor roaring and the power gauges redlining, the TARDIS strained to escape. "Hang on!" the Meddler shouted above the howling of the engines. "It's... pulling... us... through!" As the TARDIS vanished into the darkness, a glittering white cube accelerated away. The Keys Of Time

The Meddler groaned as he slowly regained consciousness. He was sprawled on the flagstone floor of the TARDIS, feeling like he'd been turned inside out.
"Owww..." he groaned. "Sisi? Are you all right?"
He stopped, startled. His voice sounded different. Oh, no, he thought. I haven't regenerated again, have I?
Opening his eyes, he dragged himself to his feet. And that's when he saw it.
The TARDIS looked... different. Oh, the console room was broadly the same, but the colors and the textures were off. Simplified, somehow.
"Enough of this," he muttered. He threw himself down in the overstuffed chair and pulled the satin cover from the mirror.
The man reflected there was almost him. His head and eyes looked slightly larger, as did his hands and feet. And his hair... His hair was spiky.
"Let's see where we are," he said, rising and approaching the console. A twist of a knob, and the main view screen whirred open. Outside, there was a desolate beach, lapped by indifferent waves. In the distance, near a wrecked mass that might once have been a community, several tents huddled together.
Visible to only an omniscient observer, a sign hung in the heavens: DESTINY ISLANDS.

[[Oh no you just DIDN'T :'D!]] She had been in the library when the keyhole had opened, and the surge of energy had felt like she was being pulled through another time vortex. She had onto the book cases hammered to the wall for dear life, books flying around her as the TARDIS was making twists and turns she had never felt before. She soon lost conciousness. She groaned when she came by again, sighing and sitting up. Rolling her shoulders she looked around her. The books were all still on the floor, the room was still the same.. yet at the same it it wasn't. It had almost an Alice in Wonderland feel to it, like something was off. Only when she looked back down at herself did she immediately realise what it was and her eyes widened in shock at what she saw. Getting up she ran out of the Library, straight for the bathroom next to it. There she stopped in front of the full sized mirror and saw there what she already knew what would be there. Her wargear armour she had been wearing had changed, it still had the same theme but she now seemed to be wearing a leather coat to her ankles with a black enforced leather corset over it. Her weapon belt still resting on her hips. Her hair had been done up this time, it's length still cascading down her back but her neck more visible now. It was even more lush then usual, hanging over one eye with almost a look of seduction. Typical. Her guns were hidden under the coat, strapped to her tighs. Instead of the golden necklace she wore a leather collar around her neck this time. She took a deep breath, it had been 5 years since she had been here. The Kindom Hearts. It depended on which world they were right now. Last time she left she heard Medieval Paris had been found or rather.. connected, a bright coloured gypsy jester coming through. It was unclear on which side the man had been. Well, that were the stories she had heard, she had never actually met the man. She remember Riku very clearly though. She made a run to the control room, to find Robin there looking rather.. comical. She pressed her lips together, trying to keep her laughings in. His hair was a spikey mess! She came up behind him as he looked out the TARDIS doors, following his line of sight. "Ah, Destiny Islands I see. You just had to fly into the keyhole, didn't you?" She raised a brow at him. She broke into a grin and stepped out, taking in the warm air around them. Destiny Island looked like a tropical dream, but she knew it held a dark secret at the beach. "I wonder what time we ended up" She mused. She then looked back at Robin "Oh, sorry. I've been here before." For the first time in a long time, Alec was scared. He had never seen this keyholes in the time vortex for as long as he could remember. The fact that he was now lying on his back staring at his Tardis ceiling only added to that fear.
"Blue!" he rasped.
The Timelord sat up straight, brushing hair out of his eyes. Jumping to the console, he was glad to see that another Tardis was in range. "This is Alec Harrison, can I request to speak with the owner of this Tardis?" he broadcasted.
He turned to his Tardis console room, as if looking for something. "Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" he asked.
He turned again. "Blue, could you come over here?" he asked the Djinn.

Standing on the beach, the Meddler had just realized that his clothes had changed along with the rest of his appearance. They were still grey, but... well...
He was certain he had not started the day with a cravat. Or a waist coat. Or a jacket with tails. Or with tight slacks tucked into calf-high patent-leather boots.
"Great," he muttered, "I look like some High Street dandy turned out to watch Admiral Lord Nelson sailing out."
"Ah, Destiny Islands I see. You just had to fly into the keyhole, didn't you?" She raised a brow at him.
He didn't turn to look. Instead, he produced a spyglass from the inside of his (new) jacked and had a look at the ruined town and the cluster of tents. "I hardly chose to fly into it - it dragged us in." Then he stopped, realizing what she'd said, and lowered the glass. "The Destiny where?"
"I wonder what time we ended up" She mused. She then looked back at Robin "Oh, sorry. I've been here before."
He lifted an eyebrow. "You have? Then where, pray tell, are we?"
Just then, a voice echoed from the console room of the TARDIS. "This is Alec Harrison, can I request to speak with the owner of this Tardis?"
"Hold that thought," the Meddler said to his niece. He darted back in, and activated the transmitter. "Hey, Alec. You're here too? It's the Meddler and... quick temporal orientation... have you met the Weeping Angels on Earth, and have you been to Yith with me yet?"

She looked Robin up and down good for a first time and couldn't help but give a bit of a chuckle "You almost look like a real gentleman, Robin! Be glad that you still look relatively normal, if we ended up in Atlantica we would have been Merfolk and swimming merrily in your TARDIS"
She looked around her, the beach hadn't changed a bit, which was good. Then she'd be able to find the doorway. Just then she heard the voice coming from the intercom. She rolled her eyes.
"If he flirts with me one more time, Robin, I am shooting his kneecaps."She called back to him as the Meddler returned back to the TARDIS.
She took a deep breath and took a moment to enjoy the warm breeze on her face. Destiny Island was a beautiful place, what luck that they had fallen through here.
Just then her eyes snapped open again, her face blanched as she realised something. Something bad, something really bad. If they had been able to come here, go through an open keyhole it meant the Walls had been broken, the shells protecting the worlds from extraterrestrial life had been broken. It meant the keyholes were open again, it meant the heartless were back. She promptly ran back inside the TARDIS after the Meddler.
"Robin, get a weapon. One you fight best with. Tell Alec to do the same. We're really going to need it. And I mean really. This is bad, very bad."
Just then she saw a shadow slid up between her footsteps, coming from the entry of the TARDIS. She recognised the antennae on the shadow immediately. The moment she spun around her gun was fired at it, it falling back and disintegrating into mist before vanishing. She ran over to the door and shut it firmly.
"That is why you need a weapon. And a sonic screwdriver. We're going to have to open and close a good few doors." She clenched her jaw. By Danu this was bad.

"Hey, Alec. You're here too? It's the Meddler and... quick temporal orientation... have you met the Weeping Angels on Earth, and have you been to Yith with me yet?"
"Yes, to both. Have you been to Demon's Run?" he said, his eyes drooping when he heard Sisilaya, "Weapons it is."
Alec turned to Blue. "I wish for guns. Try to get the most power and portable." the Timelord requested. There were some serious up sides to having a Djinn, as Alec was beginning to see.
His Tardis appeared by the Meddler's, a hut made of branches on the beach. He stepped out and scrunched his eyes. He wasn't exactly much of a nature lover, and beaches weren't one of his favorite places to be. "I hate water." he muttered.
Walking to the Meddler's Tardis and peering in, Alec shorly waved to the Meddler, a bored expression on his face. "Do you have any idea what's happening?"

"Yes, to both," Alec answered. Have you been to Demon's Run?""
"Yeah," the Meddler said. "Tedious place. When you all left, I turned the gravatic tethers loose on it. Then I gave the whole fortress to the Pope as a warning."
"Robin," Sisi called from behind him, voice filled with alarm, "get a weapon. One you fight best with. Tell Alec to do the same. We're really going to need it. And I mean really. This is bad, very bad."
"You know I don't approve of them on a regular basis," he said, turning in time to see Sisi blast something. Something black, with antennae, rising out of a pool of darkness that had slid into the TARDIS. He leaned back against the console, bemused.
"What was that?"
"That is why you need a weapon," she answered. "And a sonic screwdriver. We're going to have to open and close a good few doors." She clenched her jaw.
The Meddler lifted an eyebrow. "Sonic screwdriver? Well, I'll need to head down to the workshop to fetch one. Should I grab any other tools as well?"
He left, returning several minutes later. "Got it," he announced, "Oh, hey Alec!"
Alec shorly waved to the Meddler, a bored expression on his face. "Do you have any idea what's happening?"
"None whatsoever," he answered with a grin, "Something I find abnormally delightful. But Sisi's been here before, so... what is happening? And why have we all changed clothes?"

"Yeah," the Meddler answered. "Tedious place. When you all left, I turned the gravatic tethers loose on it. Then I gave the whole fortress to the Pope as a warning."
"If you'd have let me kill some..." he trailed off.
"None whatsoever," he answered with a grin, "Something I find abnormally delightful. But Sisi's been here before, so... what is happening? And why have we all changed clothes?"
"I'm having trouble understanding why you're asking me this?" he smirked.
"Anyways, I've got a Djinn, who I somehow found back when I had amnesia. If he ever gets out here." he said, the last sentence loud enough for Blue to hear.
He raised his 'weapon.' "Sonic screwdriver is all I got, but the Djinn is working on it." he said.

He was broken. Blue stared down at himself in dismay, whining under his breath softly. He’d managed to hide under a bed when it felt as though he were going to be torn into pieces, like a ham at a Christmas dinner. But that hadn’t stopped him from becoming damaged, broken, and irreparable. “Blue!” his master called, only putting that much more of a damper on his mood. He slunk out from under the bed, tail between his legs. Sharp nails clicked against the TARDIS floor as he padded his way to the console room. Slinking back against the corridor so his master wouldn’t see him, he cleared his throat gently.
“Are you seeing what I’m seeing?”
Blue hid his head under his paws, dismayed.
“Blue, could you come over here?”
Oh my lands, Blue thought, distressed. His master was going to see him. He was going to see the broken Djinn and wish him away! He removed his paws from his eyes and stared solemnly at his master.
Oh, his master was broken, too?
Feeling only slightly better about the embarrassing, cartoon-esque state he was in, he still lingered around the corner, only his head poking out. The Djinn was in the form of a large Great Dane. Thankfully, his master soon got distracted by conversation with someone.
“I wish for guns. Try to get the most power and portable,” his master said, hurrying out of the TARDIS. The dog followed cautiously, summoning guns and holding them between his teeth. He poked his head cautiously out of the TARDIS, waiting until his master walked into the other.
But his master’s patience with his shy act was wearing thin, it seemed. He was slightly hurt that Alec wasn’t even bothering to use his name, but it wouldn’t do much good to show it. Alec had about as much patience with him as a mother did when her son was flinging spaghetti in a high-class restaurant. He padded closer, standing on the backs of his legs to hand the Time Lord the weaponry.

Sisi felt the hairs on her neck rise when the door to the TARDIS was opened again, only to see Alec standing in the doorway.
"Will you close that door, please? We don't need a heartless infestation here." She snapped and yet again she fired from her gun but aimed between Alec's legs, where another black creature had been slinking out of the ground and disintegrated again on impact with the bullet. As she suspected, they were drawn to the TARDIS like moth's to a flame. Heartless went through open keyholes to feed on the pure life energy of living energy entities. In the Kingdom hearts it were the hearts of a world, on which after being devoured by the heartless would simply fall apart and vanish into darkness like they had never existed.
She guessed right when she thought they'd see the core of the TARDIS as a giant lollipop. She grabbed Alec's arm and pulled him inside, surprised he was followed by a Great Dane dog. She decided not to question him and slammed the door shut behind them.
"Those are called the Heartless, they are manifestations of the darkness in people's hearts, persons who died because they lost their hearts to the darkness. They are hearts really, but devoid of any emotion. They just live to consume the energy of the worlds until there is nothing left. There is the other end which are the Nobodies, but I'll explain those later."
She looked from Robin to Alec, holding her guns in both hands now.
"Right now you need to lock your TARDIS'es and put barriers up, they see the TARDIS energy as potential food and they will not stop consuming at it till there is nothing left."
She turned back to Robin, walking to the Control Panel too see if she had missed any, but through the glass panelling she couldn't see anything.
"The reason why we changed is to blend in, so we don't mess with the time and order of this world. We will change accordingly to each world so we'll blend in best. Each world has a protective wall that keeps extraterrestrial life out, only in case of a keyhole to that world opening does that wall crumble. Keyholes are the gateways that lead to the heart of that world, which consists out of life energy which feeds everything. Take that away and the world will be as if it never existed. The fact that we're here means the keyhole to this world has opened and needs to be closed before it vanishes with us in it."
She took a deep breath and ran a hand through her hair, she had to think. Think.
"Crucial thing to know is that all laws of physics and whatever they taught you at the Academy is void here. Magic exists, magic like in story books. They're even able to condense raw magic to a crystal form so it can be used to cast spells. It's like you're in the nightmare of a child."
She gave a side ward smile. She was somewhat curious to know how the Time Lords would deal in this world, where everything they knew as technology and physical law was void.

Sisi shot another one of the shadow creatures, and yanked Alec inside. Shrugging, the Meddler flipped the switch to close the doors, and watched as a large dog jumped in at the last moment. He leaned against the console.
"You have a djinn?" he asked, curious. "Really? How do you control it?" He eyed the dog speculatively. "That's it, right? Are they really related to the Daemons and the Sidhe, or are they an entirely different form of entity?"
He would have continued, possibly winding up to some question about "dissection" or "stress-testing", when he noticed his niece impatiently tapping her foot and waiting for him to focus. He cocked an eyebrow, and grinned. "Right, then. Later. Sisi was going to give us the lay of the land."
His first impulse was to crack a joke about the name, but he stopped. Memories of the Could've-Been King, and the armies of the Neverwheres and Might-Have-Beens, flickered through his mind. He settled for an uncomfortable grimace, instead. "So, some sort of destructive manifestation of the id, that consumes noetic energies to survive? I find myself strangely able to accept that."
"Right now you need to lock your TARDIS'es and put barriers up, they see the TARDIS energy as potential food and they will not stop consuming at it till there is nothing left."
"Door's closed," the Meddler said, checking the console and the doors. "And, there's nothing out there that operates on frequencies that can penetrate the 4-space interface. We're set, for the moment."
A pause. "Well, I'm set. I assume you locked up, Alec?"
Sisi checked the readouts on the console as well.
"I think I'm going to like this universe, Alec. Who needs a chameleon circuit? The universal laws do it automatically!" Then he considered the rest of her statement. "Ah, define world. Planet? Solar system? Galaxy? Local cluster or supercluster? Or are we looking at some sort of meta-universal structure, connecting at a 'keyhole'-shaped point in the local spacetime?"
A pause. "Regardless of the answer, locating the local 'keyhole' sounds rather... important, don't you think?" The last was directed to Alec. "I rather like not vanishing."
She took a deep breath and ran a hand through her hair. "Crucial thing to know is that all laws of physics and whatever they taught you at the Academy is void here. Magic exists, magic like in story books. They're even able to condense raw magic to a crystal form so it can be used to cast spells. It's like you're in the nightmare of a child."
The Meddler held his cane at waist level and let go. It fell with a clatter. Then he inspected the console. "They can't all be void," he said reasonably. "Gravity is still an attractive force, and I would strongly suspect it still distorts spacetime. The electroweak force still seems to operate. And as far as 'magic' goes," he thought for a moment, then clapped his hands together in childlike glee. "I can't wait to see that in operation. If you're right - and I assume you are - than this may open up whole new vistas of research!"
Just then, the dog stood up and handed Alec a collection of firearms. The Meddler's enthusiastic expression soured. "Ah, yes. Weapons." He eyed the Museum speculatively, then squatted down and picked up his cane again. "There," he announced. "I'm armed. Are you satisfied?"

[[Since no one seems to be posting. Can you please say 'pass' if you want someone else to post first? Then we don't have to wait days]]
"You know, I'm not even sure what this universe is called. I do know that the main energy source, the heart that connects to all the planets energy hearts is called the 'Kingdom Hearts'. Attain that type of power and you'd be close to a God, some tried but failed miserably. I've always called this universe the Kingdom hearts regardless. It's a galaxy of sort, a cluster of planets connected to the Kingdom hearts. The writer Walt Disney probably ended up in this universe in one way or another and wrote about it when he came back. Alladin's Agrabah, Pirate's of the Caribbean's Port Royal, Wonderland is particularly a nasty one.. nothing is what it seems. But I absolutely loved the hundred Acre Wood, Igor was the cutest thing I had ever laid eyes on.." She said with a smile. She could almost feel their looks "Yeah, those places are real. You're going to have a ball!" She said with a grin. Even though it was a bad sign they had been able to come here, she was still secretly glad they were. It was like being in a fairytale.
Sisi turned back to Robin with a grin on her face, laughing at his apparent exclamation that there at least should be some laws of gravity, he was right to some degree.
"There are nature's laws, but the big difference is that what's up here," She tapped her temple "seems to be able to overwrite that. I have seen people jump abnormally high, a man with one wing flying in a straight line. And let's not forget your own hair seems to be defying gravity at the moment, Robin" She said with a laugh. She knew she herself looked much more like her totem animal in this world; her face, body and hair best described as 'foxy'.
She finally looked at his cane closely, which apparently he had chosen as his weapon. She folded her arms and tipped her head, smirking. "I think it will do, it surely is stylish. I'm sure we can get some materia-slots made into it so you can cast magic spells from it. I surely hope you're able to give a good whack with that thing, you're going to need it to beat down the Heartless.. or very stubborn rabbits." She let the question hang.
"I say we'd first go to the keyhole of this world and try to close it, I happen to know where it is." She looked at the scanner of the TARDIS for a moment "It's down the beach in a cave, tiny door there just enough for a child to fit through. Heartless will probably have flocked around it by now.."
She looked from Robin to Alec, wondering if they were ready.

(OOC// I'll delete this if you don't want me) Christan woke up. "AGGH!!!" He was in some strange room somewhere, and his hands looked different. He'd finally done it. All that Time-vortex traveling must have messed him up. He probably had an extra limb or something too. Then he noticed his clothes had changed. He was wearing black jeans with a black jacket and black gloves. His vortex manipulator looked different. It looked...cartoonish, and the color and texture were different. What was going on? He lifted himself up from the floor. He could hear voices not far away. Slowly, he made his way towards them. (Here. His looks. Elsewhere...
Disney Castle was besieged.
For weeks now the Heartless had brokem against its pearlescent walls, repelled again and again by the stalwart defenders of the Realm. Shadows and neo-shadows, driven on by mega-shadows and Fat Bandits, supported by nocturnes and rhapsodys and operas. And in the distance, the Darksides watched.
For weeks now, the King had not been seen. Rumors abounded. Some said he was secreted with in the Chamber of the Keyhole. Others said that he was dead, or that he had fled. All that anyone knew was that he was nowhere to be seen.
And now, new Heartless moved against the walls. Pepperpot-shaped things that glided across the ground, discharging bolts of shadow magic, repeating a single word over and over again.
"Exterminate!"
The cry seemed to shake the foundations of the walls. "EXTERMINATE!" they cried, turning their shadow magics against the castle.
"Gawrsh," said Sir Goofy, Lord-Protector of Disney Castle. "They're new types, ain't they?" He checked the fit of his breatplate, and hefted his shield speculatively.
The duck next to him, draped in formal robes of black with an pointed orange hat, squacked and snarled something. It frequently caught visitors off guard, but this seemingly rage-fueled mallard was the Arch-Magister of the fortress.
"Yup," Sir Goofy agreed, "You sure said it, Master Donald. I don't like the looks of the, either. No sir."
The walls trembled as the shadow magics tore into them. Sir Goofy was about to speak, when the massive blocks shifted, slid, and gave way. Whatever he was about to say was lost in a shriek - "Aii-hoo-hoo-hooo!" -as the unlikely-looking pair tumbled to the ground.
"Gawrsh," Goofy remarked, picking himself up, "that was no..."
He looked around, and Donald joined him. Behind them, the curtain wall gaped wide, exposing the Castle itself. Before them, a veritable sea of Heartless surged and swelled, rushing towards them like a flood. And with a sinking feeling, the pair realized what sort of a position they were in.
A grim expression on his canine face, Sir Goofy lifted his shield. "Hyuk,' he joked, "Looks like its time to be big ol' heroes, Donald." Donald's response was incoherent as he jumped up and down, shaking his fist and his staff at the army of the Heartless. The skies boiled and blackened and lightning stabbed down, tossing the Heartless like leaves.
Throwing his shield in front of him, Goofy charged the enemy lines. "FOR THE KING!" he roared.
