Seren had drawn a gun recently. She had felt the cold metal in her hand, and had been ready to kill something. That thought along, was making her sick to her stomach. A soft breath rushed from her as she rubbed her fingers across her face. The pain in her stomach, had not left. She felt really bad, about the violence she had shown. What she had done. This was not good, not good at all. She felt like she was going to be violently ill. Which was definitely not something she wanted.
This wanderlust and travel, was an odd sensation. She was definitely going to have to figure out why she felt so ill. Her eyes closed as a soft shiver passed through her. She was at the beach now, heading to her parents summer home. A beach house, that they had told her to go to. It seemed odd, that all these things happened to her, when her parents told her to go somewhere. If the young woman didn't know any better, she could have sworn they were trying to kill her. But that was preposterous.
Her head turned, her eyes watching the ocean, as she closed her eyes and drew in a long breath. The wind whipped around her hair, and her hand came up to take off her glasses. She hadn't heard from her fiance in awhile, it was an odd thing. Something inside of her just didn't seem to give a dang. There is only one you can trust with your heart. the voice whispered to her. Her eyes snapped open, shivering faintly as she tilted her head to the side. She took in the soft smell of the sea breeze, and the gentle feeling of the waves lapping at her feet.
For once she was wearing a dress, it was something that had struck her oddly. She didn't like them often, but this one had drawn her attention. It was a silvery green dress, one that really would have looked better on a red head. There was an emerald green sash, that went with it. She had found it in a small shop, the woman had smiled at her and said it had once belonged to a very amazing woman. That Seren would be able to wear it proudly, and look good in it. Seren had chosen sandals to go with them. She pulled the plaid blanket closer to her shoulders, and closed her eyes. Her bag was resting on the ground near her. The fob watch was in her palm, her eyes watching it now. A fingertip tracing the swirling design.

She had walked along the beach for an hour, hardly noticing as the tide started coming in along the North Sea. The water lapped at the bottom of her knee high capris, her Tevas well under the water now as if these two meters closer would make any difference to her readings. There were maybe three hours of daylight left, and Sarah Jane Smith was not enjoying her game of beat the clock. A rising wind blustered at her brown hair and she shook it back too keep an eye on her Alien Detector Watch to notice the slightest fluctuation. Half an hour more passed before she got a reading. She greeted the welcome blip with a soft shout of accomplishment.
First, she held her detector high and still, adjusting the angle according to the strength of her read out. Then she is putting it away and drawing her Sonic and using it like sonar. This she cross references with the underwater map of this area she had on her Blackberry.
There. There it was. But who was it? She was going to need a boat. There may be no time, she would have to nick one.

Seren's attention was drawn to the sound of a woman's explanation. Something deep within her stirred, at least that's what it felt like. Why was she meeting so many people lately? That Captain Jack Harkness, the other man that she had met. Then there was a few other people. All rather odd, definitely rather odd. Her eyes closed for a moment as she drew in a long breath. Go to her, you need to. It's important. That voice whispered in her mind again, her eyes snapped open as she gripped her mother's fob watch. She nodded softly, listening to that voice.
It had never led her astray thus far, so she walked towards the woman. Striding slowly, and with a grace that definitely wasn't completely human. But as far as Seren knew, she was human. She wasn't exactly in knowledge about her true being, as she herself had made sure about that. Her whole life was a lie, she had no idea that she was about to find that out soon. She was striding towards the woman, and stopped short near her. Watching the whole interaction with the odd device, and the other one that the woman was holding.
"Excuse me, what are you doing." She asked as she clutched the Fob watch, and titled her head to the side. That had definitely caught her interest, the woman's devices, and her phone. "Do you need help with something?"

The young woman caught her eye even in her distraction. There was a preternatural grace to her. Was it all going to be so easy? Was this her foe even now? Sarah Jane expected her to keep on walking by, or to start shooting out deadly beams of light or something, but instead, the strikingly lovely woman stopped in front of her.
The stranger sounded human enough when she spoke, but there was something haunting about her gaze, this willow of a woman. There was a certain youth and delicacy to this stranger that put Sarah somewhat at ease though. She hadn't busted out in fangs and claws yet. Sarah decided to walk right through the front door, so to speak.
"I could really use a boat right now. I need to get closer to-" She gestured out to a place in the waves. "That. Soon."

Seren watched the woman now, her head tilted to the side. Her eyes held a bit of wisdom that was odd. But the other issue was, there was something there like there was a film over her eyes. Almost like brainwashing, but not the same thing. But she seemed to be a fully functioning person. Not a Ganger, not a Clone. She was a normal person. She smiled brightly when the woman mentioned needing a boat. She stopped for a moment and then frowned, being a little cautious. She was definitely cautious now, but she had a good reason.
"I'm Seren Ash, what do you need a boat for? And why do you need to go out there?" She asked as she looked into the distance. It looked to be a storm brewing, but she wasn't completely sure about that. A deep frown passed over her features, as she folded her hands in the small of her back. The fob watch chain was wrapped around her wrist. She felt odd right now, dressed in this dress, standing the way she was. She felt a wry smile spread across her features, as she shook her head a little. Something was on the horizon, but she couldn't understand exactly what it might be.

She and the Doctor had spoken of it. How they find you. How the ones who wind up standing beside you simply appear. Perfectly logical. Curiosity combined with a forthrightness. Smarts. But another glance at Seren's eyes told her that something fogged the the girl's perceptions. She saw more intelligence there than she saw understanding. Almost like an Archetype. Oh, gods, not another one.
"Hello, Seren, I'm Sarah Jane Smith." She flashed her a smile, truly glad she is there, and then starts striding up towards higher ground. Up ahead where the beach curved, there was a small Marina. There were quite a few small boats and very few people. Sarah Jane started to make her way toward it. Seren would come or not if she chose to.
"There is something out there about a hundred and fifty meters off shore. It's broadcasting a signal I don't understand. I need more information about what it is coming from so I can translate it. At this angle, there is too much water between whatever is down there, and my sensors." She turned to Seren now. "You don't have a boat here? Have you ever driven one?"

Seren was watching the woman, something inside of her wanted to trust the woman implicitly. It was weird to say in the least. Oddly comforting, but at the same time, dangerous all at once. Her eyes lit up as she cocked her head to the side. Something in this woman's eyes, something in them was making Seren relax. Something about her drew her in, made Seren trust her. Something about her made her think that she had ties to something important. Something important, which was making Seren question a few things.
When the woman walked over towards the Marina, Seren drew the plaid around her shoulders tightly. She then hauled her bag up higher and ran after the woman. She was looking for a boat, to go look for something. It's dangerous... that voice whispered in her mind. A shiver racing through her as she stared at the woman named Sarah. "Sarah, I have a boat, and I know how to drive it. My parents own the beach house over there." She said as she motioned over to the house on the beach. It was at least a four bedroom.
She smiled softly and started to dig through her bag, pulling up the huge keychain her parents had given her. It was definitely going to be an interesting event. She pulled the boat key up and jingled the keys. She stopped and frowned a little, this is weird. This was really really weird. Her parents had prepared her for so many things, how would they know she needed to do these things? Something weird was going on.

She stopped and contemplated the girl with a very pleased smile, amazed. They do come when you need them, don't they, Doctor, she thought. So far Seren was doing just fine. "Thank you, Seren, it's important. " She reached into her bag and pulled out both of the life sign dampening rings. She held out her hand.
"Put this on." She said, simply enough, and would slip the second on to her own thumb, the only digit it stayed on. "And lead the way. Are your parents at home right now, Seren?"

Seren smiled softly as she stared at the Keys. The fob watch was dangling from her wrist now. Twisting and turning in the light, catching the light, and seeming to pulse with an odd presence. She grabbed the chain and flipped it up into her hand. The comfort of the object fixed her presence, it felt good. It felt good indeed, to have that sitting in her hand. She closed her eyes and drew in a long breath. A soft sigh fled her lips again as her eyes opened. She nodded softly and tilted her head to the side. This was perfect, this was utterly perfect. Some reason within her was making her utterly trust this woman.
She looked at the ring, and took it gladly, slipping it on. She smiled and looked down the docks. "My parents? Nay, they are at the main house in Scotland. Though they might be here, if they were, not sure what help they could be." She said with a soft frown. Her parents didn't believe in odd things, as far as she knew. "Well they aren't actually my parents, they adopted me, when my real mother left me to them. They were good friends." She said, she wasn't sure why she had said that. She frowned and shook her head a little as she turned to walk down the Dock.
She approached a rather large boat, it was something similar to a Yacht, but a pleasure boat. With a cabin, and a below deck area for storage of items. It was a good boat, with plenty of deck room. There was a patio off the back of it, for people to hop down and swim. It was something that had been part of her childhood. Growing up on the boat. When they took vacations, traveling places.

What was that she had? It glowed oddly. It looked like a human artifact except the glow. Well, Seren had her own story no doubt. There always some sort of sub plot, she was just glad it wasn't another of Luke's history reports. This was more intriguing.
"I don't want their help Seren, I wanted to warn them. People may have to move inland, and I wanted to warn them in exchange for your help now. I can't warn everyone yet, I could be wrong. There could be panic.
They cane to the boat. It was nearly a ship. A sweet craft. Sarah Jane smiled broadly, you never knew what you were going to get, and this was a nice surprise. She went aboard, no time to loose.

"My parents have plans for just about anything. People will need to get inland? If you like I can call them on my celly, and tell them to get some warnings out. People tend to listen to them, money, ya know?" She said as she frowned and walked across to the covered cockpit. As soon as that was done, she looked back at Sarah. A smalls mile on her lips as she put the key in the ignition, and started it up.
She shifted a little, and pulled back a few levers. Her fingers flying across the control panel, and her hand resting on the wheel. "Give me my heading." She called out to Sarah, the cockpit was considerably quieter then it would be on other boats, but her parents only bought the best. She frowned a little as a few odd things clicked into mind. Her head tilted back as she shook it a little, and then pushed herself forward.
She was enjoying this little adventure, and this woman. She clutched her Fob watch in one hand, humming a little as she pushed herself. "SO any idea of what's happening?"

A moaning rang out in the storage area of the ship, and blue police box materializes, a man in White suit with a sweater vest covered in question marks exits the box with a umbrella with a blue question mark for a handle, normally he would carry a umbrella with a red question mark for a handle but that one had recently been broken......... over a man's head, so the man now had to use his secondary umbrella. the man proceeds check his surroundings, finding no one about in the room he is in, he exits the room. He had recently gotten a mysterious from a person who was is and always will be close to his heart the message still echoes in his head
"Doctor, this is Archivist. I'm alive, I ran. I ran so far away. But I'm alive, I want you to find me. I meant my words, that I whispered to you that day in the Square. I will trust you, care for you, no matter what time or place i am. No matter if I have to do something I'll regret, which I do. I have to hide, I can't really explain why, but I have to hide.
Doctor, I want you to find me. I'm going to lock away my Time Lord self, and I need you to look for me. I'll be a human, but you'll know me. You'll know me. My name will be Seren Ash. Look for me Doctor, I'll be searching for you in my heart."
It was strange, why would she transform her self into a human?, What could have happened that would make her do it? Not that he didn't like Humans, he loved them but using a Chameleon Arching one's self is a painful process, and is usually a last resort to individuals in great danger so what could have happened?
He has an odd feeling that something bad would happen but something grand would happen as well, so he pressed forward intent on finding someone who could help him find The Archivist, or has he preferred to call her Libby. He continues his search...

Brrz... Brrz... Brrrrrrrz...
On the deck of the Yacht, near a door, a blue police box appeared. Out of it stepped an elderly-looking man who kicked his thumb and stuck it in the air. "Atleast the Tardis had the decency to land on earth this time.." he coughed and sputtered to himself.
The Doctor had a penchant for sea-sickness. Well, the second incarnation did. And only one thing could clear his head... A tune played out for anyone near the Timelord to hear. He closed his eyes, having not played in so long. He could just stand there for hours, and... "Oh, that really is unfortunate." he mourned as his favorite black and brown recorder fell from his hands, supposedly into the water and crushed by the waves.
He sat there, right on deck, listening to the waves. No recorder, eh, he had more. Maybe he could stow away to wherever this was going. Maybe something of interest would be there.

The young woman had not lied about being able to drive the boat. Her hands were easy on the controls with that same rather inhuman grace she had. Like a wild creature carefully controlled. While Seren was starting up the boat, Sarah Jane scanned her with her watch. Human. With something Alien on her. But Sarah didn't have time to find out what right now. She went up beside the young woman and and pointed a long arm for her right down her perspective so she could see the place about half a click out where she had pinpointed the thing's location, only settling when she knew Seren had marked it in her mind.
"We don't have to warn them yet. Everything may be fine. Thats what I'm here to find out. If we have to bug out, and evacuate everyone as well, I can get UNIT to help. At this point though more people would get hurt than necessary just trying to beat each other to the roads. Everything may be fine. As for what is happening, whatever is out there in the water is sending out a signal. One I can't figure out yet, and I'm pretty good at figuring things out. It could be anything from a call for help to a grocery list."
They had a little ways to go yet.
"Seren, what is that thing you've got there that glows. A watch? What is it?"

There was another boat, much smaller, out near the yacht's destination. It bobbed gently at anchor, rising and falling with the swells of the tide.
On the deck, a man reclined in a chair, fishing pole in hand. He wore black khakis and a pink polo shirt, a color that seemed to set off the polished ebony of his skin. Old style headphones - the kind like earmuffs - sat on his head, and he seemed to be watching a small portable television.
As he noticed the yacht approach, he removed the headphones and sat the pole in a nearby holder. "Hello!" he called. "Fine afternoon, isn't it?"
