"ok... so I attach the red wire to the.." A seemingly young girl muttered through her teeth that held a small flashlight, leaving her hands free to work on the many sets of wires that hung down from the open panel of her ship. "Blue wire.."
A few sparks and a puff of smoke caused her to quickly slide out from underneath the console. Coughing as she headed quickly towards the door for some fresh air. The door creaked as it opened outwards allowing her to leave the slightly smoking TARDIS. Also this allowed the smoke to clear out before she tried to repair her ship once more.
"Well.. could've been worse I suppose." She cough once more, then took steady deep breathes. "I wonder what I did wrong this time.."
Finnally letting all the smoke clear she shut the TARDIS's door and locked it, so she could wander around the place she materialized and examine the surroundings a bit more closely.

Riocard was sprawled out on the ground. His eyes were trained on the sky, and his hand outstretched towards it. He pretended to move the clouds, making them separate and join together. He dropped his hand and put his arms behind his neck. His messenger bag was laid out beside him; the straps and top chewed roughly by the dog that had stolen it, but Rio wasn’t going to complain. At least he still had it. The only thing the dog had managed to destroy was package of cigarettes. He had been slightly chagrined to find the stolen tobacco on the dog’s muzzle.
The Frenchman yawned and picked himself up, wrapping the bag around his slim waist. Bright green eyes wandered curiously to a warehouse. The weeds had overtaken the sides and rails leading towards it. The pavement was cracked a spray painted. The lot was, by all signs, abandoned. And yet there someone still in it; the smoke leaking out of the broken walls were an obvious indicator, as was the young girl opening the door and gasping for breath. He tilted his head inquisitively. It was still too early in the day for the normal homeless crew and besides, in his experience they tended to crowd the inner city to be near the markets for scraps.
Riocard put his hands in his pockets and walked closer to the girl softly. ”Well could have been worse I suppose,” the girl coughed. His eyebrows rose. Now the young woman was talking to herself? A bright grin folded over his face. What a silly woman. ”I wonder what I did wrong this time.” He glanced back inside of the warehouse, the stench of acrid electricity filling his nose. He stifled his own cough, pressing the sleeve of his jacket to his face.
What was this girl doing in there? It didn’t smell like any sort of drugs he knew of – and he knew a lot about them, mind you – and he doubted that she was trying to start her own food network from inside the dingy warehouse. He walked closer, bright green eyes shining curiously. The woman didn’t seem threatening. She was just a mysterious little homeless girl who was starting fires inside of buildings. He opened his mouth to greet her formally, but she walked back inside of the warehouse. Furrowing his eyebrows, frustrated, he walked closer. He had just about reached the door when she came back outside.
He took a step backwards, uncomfortable with the lack of distance between him and her. ”Hello, mon lapin,” he greeted. ”What do you have in there? Smells like you burnt something,” he informed her, his eyes straying from her to the door behind her. ”Ah, my name is Rio. And yours, lapin?”

Upon walking back outside of the TARDIS, she nearly walked into a young man, with bright green eyes.
"Hello, mon lapin," He greeted. "What do you have in there? Smells like you burnt something,"
She watched his eyes as they looked towards the door behind her.
"Ah, my name is Rio. And yours, lapin?"
"Mine is ph... sorry. Maria." She gave her alias as she mentally cursed herself for almost using the she recieved during the academy. "And you shouldn't worry about what's burning. It's just some wires that need to be fixed. Nothing I can't handle." She quietly muttered something that sounded along the lines of I hope.
'Maria' gave Rio a curious look as she asked. "So Rio, what brings you to England?"

He watched as she regarded him with suspicion. His confident smile never wavered, and he stood a little straighter. ”Mine is ph… sorry. Maria,” the woman corrected. Riocard’s smile twitched into a large one that exposed his canines. If she was going to give him a fake name, she should have at least rehearsed it. The man decided not to comment on it; everyone had to start somewhere on the lying scale. He took a step back, regarding her with intense curiosity. ”Well, Maria,” he smiled, bowing down and catching her hand, giving her a polite kiss on the back of it, ”it’s my pleasure to meet you. A name as beautiful as the beholder,” he laughed, dropping her hand and standing up straight again.
”And you shouldn’t worry about what’s burning. It’s just some wires that need to be fixed. Nothing I can’t handle.”
His eyebrows rose skeptically. ”There are two things I find very strange about that, my dear Maria. There shouldn’t be any wiring to fix in this place. The lot doesn’t have any electricity. Unless you brought in a car, or some other vehicle, there shouldn’t be any working wires. And if you did bring in a car… you seem to be alone?” he pointed out, glancing around to make his point. ”But assuming that I believe you, which I do, because I’m a very trusting person,” he nodded, placing his right hand over his heart earnestly, ”if you could handle it by yourself, you wouldn’t have been smoked out.”
He made the last point with something close to a victoriously smug smile. ”Maybe I could try? Once I stranded with my papa and we had to jumpstart our boat using fish oil and a few bones from a seagull corpse.” He grinned at the memory fondly. ”I’m good with my hands.” He wriggled his thin fingers at her. Although he was much taller than this little girl, he didn’t force himself into the warehouse. It wouldn’t have been very fun to do anything without permission. Besides, he didn’t care for rude people.
”So Rio, what brings you to England?”
He paused, his smile flickering. He took a step back from her. ”Visiting,” he lied thickly. ”And you? What brings you here?” he chirped cheerfully, the smile back on his face full-force. ”I bet you’re ready to leave. This place can really grate on your nerves, euh?”

'Maria' quickly thought about what he was saying. After all, a little help wouldn't be so bad. would it? Sighing she explained. "Okay, your sharp. And your correct I am, in fact, alone."
She paused as if decided what she wanted to say next, before looking straight into his eyes as she went on. "As for why I'm in England, I got stranded. No it's not a car, it's nowhere as basic as that." 'Maria' began to pace as she explained, it sometimes helped her think. "Also, and I really mean this with no disrespect and I'm not trying to be rude. It's just I need a certain.."
Another pause came as she thought up the right words to use.
"Mechanic. You could say, and unforunately I doubt the kind I'm looking for are anywhere near Earth. Or in this solar system. Unless they have a fog watch and in that case they wouldn't be any use." As she finished her sentance, she got a look that read I shouldn't have said that. Turning towards him she laughed nervously. "Sorry. I... well. I tend to.. Sayyy.. crazy things when I'm tired. yeah... Tired."

”Okay, your sharp. And your correct I am, in fact, alone.”
Riocard chuckled when she admitted that he was slightly smarter than he looked. ”You have to be perceptive if you want to live the way I do,” he said with a simple shrug. ”But I do like to think of myself as something more than a pretty face.” Another cocky, self-confident grin from the man. He liked to have his ego licked as much as the next person, especially since half the time he encountered somebody he always got off the wrong foot. People generally found him over-bearing, too curious, and a little too French.
”It’s not very safe to be around here on your own,” he said. ”I’m sure you can handle yourself. You’re probably a lot tougher than you look. I mean, I hear that short people have a lot of fight in them,” he continued politely. He took off his bag and showed her the ruined straps and the chew marks. ”But look! Rabid animals everywhere. I had to wrestle this back from a fifty foot dog,” he said solemnly. ”It was a very intense battle.”
”As for why I’m in England, I got stranded. No it’s not a car, it’s nowhere near as basic as that. Also, and I really mean this with no disrespect and I’m not trying to be rude. It’s just I need a certain… mechanic. You could say, and unfortunately I doubt the kind I’m looking for are anywhere near Earth,” the woman rambled full speed ahead. Rio’s head slowly tilted to the side, chewing his bottom lip thoughtfully. Anywhere near Earth? ”…or in this solar system. Unless they have a fog watch and in that case they wouldn’t be any use.”
Riocard studied her quietly as she apologized and made excuses for her ramble that didn’t make sense. ”Don’t worry about it,” he said, his tone distracted. He was silent again and looked from the short woman to the door of the warehouse. He retreated back to his memory; he had been around that warehouse for a few days, but he had never seen anyone either exit or enter. And now she was claiming that the mechanic she needed wasn’t even in the same solar system?
He reached out and poked her forehead studiously. ”Are you an alien?” he asked softly. ”And your vehicle that is so much more complex than a car…? Your spaceship?” Riocard put his hands on his hips. ”This is the best day of my life,” he said, bouncing up and down on the heels of his feet.

”Don’t worry about it,” he said, his tone seemed distracted. When he went silent, she notice him look back and forth from her and the warehouse doors. Then she felt his finger poke her forehead as he went on.
"Are you an alien?" His voice was soft when he asked.
Her eyes widened for a split second, as she rubbed her forehead with the palm of her left hand. Subconciously bitting her bottom lip as she thought about weither or not to actually say.
"And your vehicle that is so much more complex then a car...? Your spaceship?" Rio got this look of what 'Maria' could only assume was excitement due to the excessive bouncing he was displaying. "This is the best day of my life."
She rolled her eyes at the word 'spaceship', it was so much more then that if she could just get it back to it's proper fuctions. Suddenly her mind registered something he said ealier. "Wait. Short?!"
'Maria' blinked in confusion before holding up her index finger. "Wait right here, I'll be right back." She quickly unlocked the TARDIS door and pratically ran inside to get a measuring tape. Taking of one of the floor panels to look through a large white bin.
"Ok I know I put it somewhere in here. Or maybe in one of the closets." She said to herself as she normally did, as she pulled out several different objects. "Let's see... extrapulator, no. Slingshot, nope. 1960 camera, well now I know where that went, still not it."
In her haste, she forgot to lock the door behind her as she went back inside to look for her measuring tape.

Her silence was as good as an affirmative reply. He drew back, evidently pleased with himself. Riocard lowered his hand, putting them behind his back. ”Are you all right?” he asked, frowning as she bit her lip. He stepped away from her again. ”You don’t have to worry about me,” he told her honestly. ”I’m harmless,” he said – which wasn’t the truth, but it wasn’t quite a lie – and raised his hands to show her that he was unarmed. Unless she tried to attack him, which he doubted quite severely, then she wouldn’t ever have to know that he wasn’t quite so harmless.
Maria rolled her eyes at his excitement. Riocard narrowed his eyes, regarding her with annoyance. ”What was that for?” he pouted, crossing his arms. ”Please forgive my excitement for discovering something new to me. I will contain myself from this moment forward,” he intoned flatly. Under his breath, he muttered something about women never having a sense of humor; human or not. He cleared his throat and offered her a sheepish grin, about to apologize for his outburst, when she spoke first.
”Wait. Short?! Wait right here, I’ll be right back.” And with that, the woman hurried back into the warehouse. He blinked and looked around himself. What kind of woman was this? How could she have gone her whole life without coming to the realization that wasn’t just short, but tiny? ”Oui,” he called, leaning against the wall of the warehouse as he waited for her. ”You’re very short, like a little pixie. Oh! You’re not human, that’s right. Maybe you are tall for where you are from?” he asked curiously, French accent thickening due to his excitement.
Hearing only the faint clatter of things from inside the warehouse, he sighed and shut his eyes, relaxing against the building. It hummed against his back, vibrating weakly. He opened his eyes slowly, eyebrows furrowing. How was the building vibrating? It didn’t have any electricity. He had already pointed it out; he knew it didn’t. He put the palm of his hand on the wall, feeling its quiet pulse underneath him. He turned around, frustrated. ”What are you doing, Maria?” he asked, impatience littering his voice.
He opened the door to the warehouse and stepped inside calmly. ”You know, it’s not very nice to leave strangers on your doorstep. Er, I think. Actually, I’m not sure about that. I think the saying is that it either makes you impolite or wise. Huh. Same thing, though…” he muttered, sticking his hands in his pocket. With his shbiel over with, he looked around him curiously. The warehouse seemed to be quite large. The inside was better decorated than the outside, and there weren’t any creaky, rotten floorboards. He tilted his head slowly, his eyes finding Maria as she dug around a bin.
Riocard blinked slowly, his mind nagging him that there was something strange going on here. The outside of the building showed a small, decrepit warehouse. Your standard run-of-the-mill “a psycho dwells here” type of warehouse that had a shady history of asbestos and bits of ceiling landing on underpaid workers. And yet inside, it reminded him vaguely of the Ritz. Not that the homeless man had ever been in the Ritz, but that was beside the point. And wasn’t it bigger on the inside? Not even a, “oh, I love how you made the place look so much bigger through the clever placeage of mirrors” kind of big.
The, “holy hell, did I just step into your spaceship” kind of big.
”Oh,” said Rio, because that was when it dawned on him.

The Weeping Angel was curious. It had crashed on Earth some four hours ago, and could find no other survivors of it's group. It heard one or two voices coming from inside a large, empty warehouse.
Prey.
With lightning-fast speed, it moved to the warehouse. The door was slightly ajar. It stepped in. Automatically sensing beings, it froze, hands covering it's face. And it started to wait. wait for one simple thing really.
Blink.

"Found it!" 'Maria' stated happily as she pulled out a roll of measuring tape and put back the several different objects that she took out just to find the tape. "Never knew why they called it measuring tape, it's not even tape!"
After placing the white bin back under the floor panel, she stood up.
"Oh."
Immediately she turned around, shocked to see Rio inside her TARDIS. Almost wanting to ask how he in, she then realized she forgot to lock the door behind her. Again.
"I left the door unlocked... didn't I?" Asked 'Maria' as she walked towards him. "Well I can't do anything about that now I suppose. And I suppose you want me to explain?"
"First, do you mind holding this for me?" She asked with a light smile on her face, as she handed him the measuring tape. Then proceeded to head over to the large console in the middle of her ship.
The console was constructed in what looked like three parts. The first part was the base, which was a light blue-ish grey color and seemed to be a smooth round shape. Though one of it's panels was on the floor next to the large group of wires extending from it. It also seemed to be holding up the remaining two parts.
The second part of the console was much like an oval shape, it rested on top of the base and was expanded outward. This part also held the controls of the ship, which consisted of gears that could be turned any which way; a computer keyboard; several button of various shapes, colors, and sizes; and a small screen that layed flat on the control bridge, much like those computer screens that are in a library's desk computers.
The third part of the console was a large diamond shaped cylinder that went from the base to the top of the ship. This was clear and seemed to shine like a star. Inside of the cylinder was a spinning rod with a rotating orb attached to the middle.
'Maria' pressed a small clear button on the control center, turning the computer monitor on. Afterwhich she walked over an rotating chair and sat down, looking over at Rio curiously. "So what do you want to know?"

The angel lunged, pausing halfway to one of the beings. He wanted them to feel fear before they died. To know that the Angels had destroyed them.

Upon noticing the stone angel, 'Maria' locked her eyes onto it. "Rio, I suggest moving away from that."
She had heard legends about them and knew of what they could do. They were one of the oldest race of creatures around, also one of the most deadliest.

Eleven stepped out of his TARDIS, a fez sitting on his head. He'd tracked the energy signature of the Weeping angels here. The only thing left to do was to find it, somehow figure out how to destroy it, all the while managing to stay alive. AND be back to the TARDIS in time for Jammie Dodgers and some Jelly Babies. He fixed his bowtie and began walking toward the warehouse where his TARDIS had tracked the signature. He pulled out his sonic screwdriver, and broke into a run. He came to a complete stop outside the door. According to the small scanner on his sonic, the warehouse was..was a TARDIS. And the Angel was inside.

Two sounds rang out in the abandoned warehouse. First there was the sound of a Tardis...then the sound of a music. High and masterfully emitted, as if done many times. The sound of a recorder.
The Doctor was here. "I smell a quantum lock! No use in hiding!" he called out, his voice echoing. "Who is it this time? Weepers, or did some idiot have a bad day?"

"Okay, this is so not good. How did a Weeping Angel get into My TARDIS?!" 'Maria' asked to no one in particular, as she tried to think of a way to get the stone creature out of the ship and away from civilization.
She heard a voice from somewhere outside the TARDIS. Hoping it was someone that wasn't trouble, she called out. "Hello? We're in here! And in need of some help. Actually make that a lot of help." She closed one eye at a time so she could continue staring at the living stone. Both her hearts were racing from her nerves going on edge.
