Tylerhathan listened to the Professor read from the Shadow Proclamation, a frown forming on his face. "If you want to call the Judoon, that would be all right with me...but I would personally rather avoid them...and they would kill the creature....."
Tylerhathan didn't doubt that this hoix had killed people, but to spare as many lives as possible would be the best solution.
Tylerhathan had to step backwards as the Professor shot the hoix and knocked it out. "All right...now who wants to take it to another planet....and which planet do we want to take it to?"
His attention was momentarily drawn by a red head moving in the direction of a sword. "And does that sword belong to someone?" He didn't recognize the redhead, but had the idea that he had seen him before.

The General looked in the direction, that Tylerhathan was looking, and immediatly said, "Oh no."
He ran towards the sword, if he let the Mentalist get that sword, there would be more trouble than there already was.

Zero was much closer, grabbed the sword and then tossed it behind him before swinging a heavy book (Harry Potter 4, as it happens) at the newcomers head. "Who is this?" He sighed to the General.

The Mentalist quietly cussed as people noticed him. Seeing two Time-Lords have a go at him, he got a bit mad.
"No! Mine!"
Noticing The General go for the sword, the man sped up in his walking but not enough to walk into the book going for his head. Taking a glance at it as it swung toward his head. Putting a hand up to the book, he grabbed it from the man and frowned. Taking a look at the cover, he read it.
'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'
Then he tossed it away. Going for the sword at a much quicker pace, he was only a few feet away from it now. Such a pretty, pretty tool. He spoke to himself, passing comment on the thrown book.
"Filthy human literature. So stupid."
Diving down for the sword, his hand went to it.

The General's eyes widened as the Menalist grabbed the sword, he stood back, he didn't want to regenerate just yet.
"Say hello to the Mentalist, a Time Lord, with split personality, some say it started at the Schism, some say it's been with him all his life, noone's been able to get a straight answer out of him to find out," The General said, "watch him, unless you want to regenerate, he's a good fighter, and i'm unarmed, so now we have a bit of a problem."

The red-head stole the sword from the ground and stood back up, getting to his feet. His reputation preceded him and he grinned at the little introduction. It was nice to be feared and loathed by so many. Clutching the handle of the blade, The Mentalist kept that dreadful smile on his face and spoke as he glared down at the blade.
"General, you could get a whole army against me and you'd still be a dead man."
His eyes darted up and stared right at the General, smirking. The eyes had gone a little mad, they always did when he had hold of a weapon. Now, who to test it out on, that was the question. The General? The book thrower? The other man or Tyler's dad?
So many victims. So much time to kill them all. What fun this would be.

(wait....the Menatalist is a teen in this thread? I thought that this was taking place during the time of the First Doctor show...not during their time while at the Academy. If this is taking place during the Academy years, I'll move the entire thread to the School Days board. Shall I move the thread? And I don't think they're on Gallifrey -- I imagined it to be Earth or another planet. I could be wrong, though.)
When Tylerhathan heard the name 'Mentalist,' he inwardly groaned. He had heard of the Mentalist -- had heard of this particular Time Lord many times before. This Mentalist was the one who was responsible for hurting Tyler on numerous occasions.
He saw the Mentalist grab the sword, and knew that they had a situation on their hands. "Where did you say this hoix was?" Tylerhathan asked Zero, thinking fast. If they could get the hoix to come towards the Mentalist, or at least in their direction, they might be able to distract the Mentalist and wrestle the sword away from him. That, or the Mentalist would run or try to fight the thing. They needed a distraction, and fast.

The professor put another dart into the dart gun and aimed for the metalist, being careful. He fired the shot, and it went past the other time lords who were fighting the mentalist, and missed him by an inch. The professor said "For the love of rassilon!" He ran at the mentallist, and sent a right hook to his head.

"Oh....right...I forgot you already shot that hoix thing....hmmm...maybe we could wake it up. Do you have anything that reverses the affects?" Tylerhathan asked the Professor. "Anything that would distract the Mentalist would be good...."
He sent the last part telepathically to the Professor.
"And trust me, you don't want to fight him....he's a....murderer....at least strongly suspected of it, if not convicted....I'm not sure whether he has been convicted of it....but there is probably enough evidence that would convict the Time Lord."

(You're a tiny bit late ten, The Professor's already punched/punching the Mentalist. I think that's his plan... and no, changed all my posts so The Mentalist is an adult.)
Noticing the dart, The Mentalist watched it go past him and smirked. This person had no aim at all. He guessed that it was full of sedative or some sort of poison, which sealed the deal. The man that fired the dart would be the first to go.
Standing where he was, he smiled as the victim ran at him. Turning to face the fist, he tossed the sword to the other and caught the fist. Gripping The Professor's hand, he flicked the sword up and spoke to him, refusing to let go of the attackers hand.
"Are you sure you want to do that? There's a reason I'm called the coffin man in a few circles."
He waited for a reply, gently placing the tip of the twisted sword on The Professors neck. Making sure to prick the neck a little, he waited for his victims reply. If he backed off now, he'd get a little head start. He'd give him, maybe, two minutes of running time instead of just killing him right there.

The professor was scared, and then he remembered. He raised his hand, and in it there was another dart gun. He jammed the barrel into the mentalist's stomach and shot, hoping the dart would go into his stomach knock him out, rendering him either unconscious or putting him in a very bad rage. He kicked the mentalist away, and ducked as the sword would come for his neck.

(I know he started fighting the Mentalist. Tylerhathan was hoping to persuade him to stop right then and there....and Professor, could you slow down a bit....I feel like that's kind of controlling the Mentalist. Stacked, what do you think? Is what happened okay, or do you feel he controlled your character and godmodded a bit?)

The General ran behind the Mentalist, and grabbed him from behind, putting his hands behind his back, "What's in them?" The General said to the Professor.

The professor said "Well, in that one there is either a sedative, or something that will affect some species's differently. I forgot to label the darts general. Sorry about that. So, if he starts going into a rage, we should wake the hoix up so it can attack him." He put the dart gun back in his pocket and backed away from the mentalist slowly, not wanting to be near him incase he went into a rage.

(Woo, sedatives make The Mentalist see funny things. XD)
The Mentalist was a little shaken up by everything. These people were a little faster than he expected. First a dart to the stomach, which nipped, a movement of his sword and now a grabbing? This simply wouldn't do.
He watched the other man and felt himself almost dangling from The General's grasp. The red-head looked at the ground, it had gone a funny colour. His hand were tightly held, he could feel the blade it tilt toward him. But it felt strange on him, as if the painful prick didn't quite hurt as much. As if it was just a gentle tap on his leg. Like some child nudging into him as they passed by. As he kept staring at the ground, he saw a small pair of feet pass by him.
Watching them go by, his head went up, watching the the child run away. It was a little short, a little uneasy on it's feet and could only be about eight years old. He gazed at it, looking at it's attire. A pair of little black trainers, little blue jeans, green t-shirt and a stripy hooded top and the brightest red hair. Hearing the little boy laugh, he stared at him. That couldn't be- he'd never been that short, never had hair that bright, never laughed like that before- had he?
Watching him continue to run, the adults stomach throbbed. The child opened up his arms as someone else spoke.
"Wow, my big boy can run so fast now, look at him go!"
The adult's head shot right up at that voice. His eyes widened as he saw who the voice came from.
The happiest looking mother could be seen with her arms outstretched. She had long light red hair, green eyes and the biggest smile. Her blue jumper looked so warm and cosy, the little flower on her top peeking out.
The child ran straight to her, being grabbed and picked up, snuggled and held. The little boy laughed and put his arms round the woman, gently cuddling her. She kindly smiled at him, rocking him slightly. She kissed his head and started to sway. As she did, with each sway, the little boy became quieter and started to fade. He turned darker and darker, until she held a black shape which then crumbled like ash out of her hands.
As it fell from her, her arms dropped from the holding and to in front of her. Tears then welled up in her arms and she cried. She wailed in utter pain. She'd lost everything.
The adult watched her and looked at her.
He then screamed at what seemed like nothing to the outside world.
"MOM!"
He tried desperately to struggle from The General's grasp.
