Or, you can block your ears... The General said holding his sonic screwdriver high, 16000 hertz should do the trick he said pressing the button, making the screwdriver send out a sound at 16000hz, the guards fell to the ground, Don't over complicate things.

"My idea was better in the long run, we'd be able to introduce each other with a quick mind-scan," Zero huffed, straightening his tie and putting the screwdriver away. "Now we have to do it the old fashioned way," The young (yet still stuffy) Time Lord re-positioned his glasses and nodded "Zerocalipaxtrikamandius, librarian, researcher, pleased to meet you,"

"Yadshuysajda, General, all round helping guy, friend of the Doctor's, nice to meet you too." The General said.

Tylerhathan let out a sigh when Zero had shouted in his head. Not every Time Lord had equal capabilities in the telepathic area. Tylerhathan had never been exceptionally skilled at it -- the ability not really running strongly in his family. He could send and receive telepathic messages, but it would have taken a lot of his effort to attempt to do what Zero had suggested...if he could even do it at all.
Tylerhathan sighed again when the General used his sonic to stun the guards, but this time it was out of relief.
Looking at Zero and the other Time Lords, Tylerhathan announced, "And I'm Tylerhathan.....gardener and landscaper."
It was at times like these that he wished that he could introduce himself properly, with the name that he had been born with. However, that name had been striped from him long ago, and he was not allowed to talk about it.

The professor said "My name is the professor. I'm probably the youngest time lord out of us, cos i am only 300 years old. Now, the hoix. Let us go and stop it, shall we?" Hesmiled.

Tylerhathan nodded, "And I may be the oldest....over one thousand years old..."
"Where is this hoix...and what is it? You see...I haven't been off Gallifrey much the past hundred or so years...."
In fact, the last time that Tylerhathan had been off of Gallifrey, according to what he could recall, was when he had met his wife. Tears formed in his eyes as he thought of her. He had loved her passionately, but she was gone now....long gone. The only thing that he had left of her were his two children.

"A Hoix," Zero explained with a sigh "Is a rather dim-witted but powerful alien creature, they will eat anything from a rat that's been dead for three weeks to a whole turkey,"He picked up the sword with a free hand and twirled it around. "Which is odd because this specimen used a sword and didn't bother to eat anything, even ignored me only wanting to kill these unfortunate six men and women,"

The professor said "Well, this one obviously evolved further than the others of its species. Maybe it somehow developed intelligence that none of the rest of its species has had. Whatever the reason is, lets go stop it." He grinned.

"Sorry, we?" Zero asked "You aren't suggesting we chase after that thing are you?"

Tylerhathan spoke up, "And just what are you planning on doing with it once we find it? I suppose we could take it in someone's TARDIS after knocking it out.....and take it to its home planet....that would probably be the most humane thing to do..."
He didn't like the idea of killing something, even if it was causing problems.

The professor said "Well i think that tyler's idea if the best idea we have. Now, if we see the hoix, we need to distract it, and then knock it out." The professor saw the hoix and smiled. He said "Lets go!" He looked at the others, wondering if they were afraid of what the hoix looked like.

Tylerhathan glanced at the Professor, pleased that someone had accepted his idea, however he was somewhat uncomfortable with being called 'Tyler.' He chose to express this, "I.....I just wanted to say that.....that I would prefer it if you didn't call me 'Tyler.' I mean, you can...but the problem is that it might be confusing when my son is around. I have a son that likes to be called Tyler. So...just wanted to put that out there...."
In fact, 'Tyler' was the name that his wife had picked out for his younger son when they had thought that the twins were human. Of course, with twins, it didn't matter too much that Tyler was younger than his brother.
"And you are forgetting something...we will need something to knock it out WITH. We might be able to use sonics, but there is no guarantee that that will work..."
Tylerhathan fished through his pockets, trying to see if he had something that wouldn't damage the creature, but that would still be powerful enough to knock it out.
"We also might want to come up with a plan on how we are going to distract it, so that we know what we are doing before we actually go after it."

"Can I put forward a radical idea that no ones thought of yet?" Zero asked, clearing his throat and opening a very thin purple bound book (That like his TARDIS was bigger on the inside) "Article 342, subsection 19, paragraph 8 of the Shadow Proclamation: Judoon, Ogrons, Cogs or Weavers," He re-adjusted his spectacles and read the asterisk on the bottom of the page "In special cases the Shadow Architect may choose to send an individual or group of individuals of his/her choosing to deal with the threat," His voice returned to normal "May be authorised by the Shadow Proclamation to retrieve or eliminate a non-terrestrial organism or device running loose on an inhabited or terraformed planet of level 3 or above provided that said Non-terrestrial has (either physically, mentally or emotionally) harmed at least 4 people either native to that planet or who have been on said planet for a minimum of 25 days (Standard Galactic Time)" He closed the book "6 people have died so I suggest we call down a group of Judoon to sort this mess out, they can deal with the Hoix, they can deal with its weapon and we can deal wi- ... you aren't going for it are you?"
He sighed dejectedly and started flicking through books, there was something about a Hoix being vulnerable to certain chemicals.

The professor scratched his head and said "Me and the judoon are not on the best of terms. Now, heres my idea." The professor pulled out of his jacket pocket, a dart gun. (Like the tardis, bigger on the inside.) The professor screwed a dart in and said "Special solution." The professor aimed at the hoix, and it turned around and roared. When it roared, the professor fired the dart, and the hoix swallowed it. He grinned and said "That'll knock it out. I think it will."

(guess who....?)
A red-head smirked as he watched the situation from a little bit away. He hid behind something, keeping cover as he observed, talking to himself quietly. He was a little younger, his hair a violent orange color and his face clean shaven. He had a good few scars and had been known to be a violent man, some police even suspecting him of a few serious assaults.
He watched the situation and coyly smiled.
"Hmmmm... A Hoix eh? Interesting.... But who are these people? I only know one and it's his dad. I wonder if Tyler ever told his dad on me, he seems like the type. Haha!"
Noticing a lovely sword lying around, his eye went to it like a magpie's to silver. It already had blood on it, how beautiful. He grabbed his shirt hem and played with it. He wanted that sword. It was so pretty, pretty deadly.
Deciding to go and get it, he crept forward toward the people and hoped no-one would notice. Or else things might get a little nasty.
