The man turned to her.
"Well it was a smart move seeing me, since I have no idea who you are." He told her.
"Yes, I'm Doctor John Smith of Torchwood Institute," The Doctor said holding up the psychic paper. "This is my...uh...co-worker Melissa." He nodded in Melissa's direction. Then he quickly slipped the psychic paper into his pocket.
"Nice to meet you Dr. Smith and Melissa." He bowed his head at them. The Doctor smiled, at least he was trying to accept them.
"One of these lovely boys," He said pointing in the direction of the boys and smiling. "Gave a little hint that something bad was going on in the village." He said looking quite serious as he said so.
"Oh." The man said looking over at the boys who looked a little worried now. "I don't know you yet and I don't think I'm ready to share this information with you." The man said continuing to look at the boys.

Melissa smiled at the man, "It's nice to meet you."
Since he had bowed his head, Melissa did the same. She hoped that she was understanding the culture and customs of the place correctly.
"Well, we'll be staying here for a little while," she looked to the Doctor. "So it would be good to know if there is something we should know about...."

"She's right, besides you can trust us. We haven't done anything to harm you." The Doctor said. "We can help you." He added in a trustworthy voice as soon as he saw he was about to win him over.
"Fine then." The man gave up. "We keep getting attacked by a terrible monster. We don't know what it is but it's big...huge in fact." His hand movements suggested it was incredibly huge.
"Many have been killed as a result of the attack. People say that the monster has lived underneath our ground for thousands...even millions of years. That's simply a rumour." He continued. "If you could help us then we would repay you dearly." He finished.
They then sat there in an long silence. It was only broken by The Doctor who sat up and asked, "Are there any places we could visit to see what damage it has done?"
"Y-yes. There are." The man looked up abruptly, he didn't expect him to say anything. "I could show you the places if you would like." He offered. The Doctor nodded, he seemed to be in deep thought.
"Yeah, if you could that would help a great deal." The Doctor said.
"Oh! I haven't even introduced myself." The man said. "I am Hanso, Hanso Karl." Hanso said. The Doctor stood up and smiled.
"Nice to meet you Hanso." He grinned. Then Hanso promptly took them to the damaged scene.

She whispered to him, "What do you think might be causing it?"

"I don't know. The description wasn't very specific." The Doctor answered.
They arrived at the wrecked scene. Two whole houses were completely ruined, the houses contents scattered all over the place. It was quite a horrible site especially for Melissa who hadn't seen anything like it.
The took out his sonic screwdriver and started scanning the ground.
(Sorry for not being on for a while. I've been work on something big and it's taking a lot of time. But after tomorrow it should be all back to normal.)

(hey that's okay.....in my opinion, roleplay is just fun stuff that people do in their free time. School work, church, work, job, family, relationships....and other stuff in the real world should come before roleplaying. Do what you need to do. What kind of project is it (if you don't mind my asking)).
Melissa looked around at the scene, horrified at what she saw.
"What could have done this," she thought to herself.
Melissa looked at him, watching him scan.
"What are you doing?" she asked.

(This MUN (Model United Nations) conference. I've never done anything like it before. You had to be a country and write a position for the conference and it was a bit difficult. Still it was fun and the guy who was Haiti was rather attractive lol.)
"I'm trying to find signs of what this monster could be." He answered. Suddenly he took a toothpick out of his pocket and scooped up a gooey substance. It was a lime green colour and didn't look particularly appealing.
He put a little bit on his finger and tasted it, to Melissa's surprise. He then grimaced.
"Ergh, that's...that's blood." He said with a disgusted look on his face. Then he took out a little plastic bag and and put the toothpick with the substance on in the bag.

"Nah not all blood is the safe. It depends on species to species." He smiled.
"I haven't seen this blood before. Then again I haven't seen every aliens blood." He answered.
"Uh, I hope you don't mind but I have to get to my time/space machine to test the blood to find out what species it belongs." The Doctor said to Hanso. Hanso wore a very confused look but let him go and do whatever. Racing off to the Tardis with Melissa following, he wanted to test the blood to find out what species it belonged to.

"He is so cute," she thought to herself.
"So...since you're an alien, what color is your blood?" Melissa asked.
She paused as she watched him work. "Any luck so far determining its species?"

He looked over at her and laughed a little.
"I have red blood. I look a lot like a human. In quite a few departments." He told her. He had no idea how that had sounded and was quite oblivious to it.
"Hmmm..." He was looking determined at the screen.
"OH!" He burst out because he got a result. "Oh." He said a less excited as if it was a bad thing. "Well, I've got good news and bad news." He informed her.
"Good news is I know what creature the blood belongs to. Bad news IS the creature it belongs to." He said.
"I have to tell Hanso and the rest at once. No time to spare." He rushed off followed closely by Melissa.

She heard the Doctor's comment and blushed slightly.
"I don't think he meant it like that -- he's not that kind of guy....I think he just didn't realize what he was saying," she thought to herself, trying to reassure herself.
While running after the Doctor, she called, "So what kind of creature is it? And why is it so bad?"

He ran right up to Hanso.
"Hanso, this creature it's vital you stop it quickly. It's a Syclo, I've heard stories of it devouring whole worlds." He informed Hanso.
The look of dismay that passed on his face spread impressively fast to everyone that was there.
"You can stop this, can't you?" Hanso asked looking extremely worried.
"Yes, I can. I just need the right equipment which I have." He answered. He looked at the boys who were on the verge of tears. The Doctor knelt down.
"I'll do whatever it takes to protect you. I promise I won't let that terrible monster hurt you at all." He told them.

The boys smiled at him, he had one of those trustworthy faces. They all hugged him, unfortunately The Doctor fell over with the boys collapsing with him. They all laughed.
As soon as he got up he addressed Melissa. "They're strangely powered by electricity which comes from their core. We have to get to the core to disconnect the energy source. But the consequence is we'll get electrocuted if we touch the creature. So what insulates electricity? Well quite a few materials...but rubber would work." He told her.
"Rubber suits are needed. I have rubber but no rubber clothing. It sounds ridiculous but you'll use to it." He said reading her expression.
