Here are some questions that newcomers might have in regard to the site. If your question isn't listed, please feel free to reply with your own question. This thread is guest friendly.

Q 1.) This site looks interesting, but I know nothing about Doctor Who. Can I still join?

A 1.): Absolutely. Anyone is welcome to join this site. If you haven't seen Doctor Who, then you shouldn't choose a canon character. However, you are more than welcome to create an original character.

Q 2.) This looks like a beginner's site. Are advanced roleplayers welcome here? Can I make longer posts than one paragraph?


A 2.) Definitely. Anyone is welcome to join this site -- it is meant to be for people at any level. The one paragraph statement is simply a minimum. There is no maximum.



Q 3.) There is a canon character that I'd like to play, but that character is already taken. What do I do?

A 3.) You may post in the canon character thread, stating your interest of wanting to play that character. There are several people who have gone inactive. I will let you know if that character is available or not.



Q 4.) Where do I go to make a character submission?

Q 5.) I've signed up for a character. Now what?

A 5.) That's great -- now you just have to wait to be approved. Feel free to hang out on the site in the C-box or on any of the OCC threads. Once you are accepted, you may create your own thread or talk to the people in one of the roleplays that you are in about getting your character involved.

New question: How do I put a picture in my signature?

Answer:
1. click link at the top of the screen that says "profile." (It's located just above the ad at the top of the screen and underneath the "Hey....X...you have x messages.")

2. click on modify profile (it'll be the middle link that you see when your profile comes up)

3. then scroll down until you find "signature" and put this in the box that is marked "signature"

You can also center it, if that's what you want.

4. Make sure to save it.

I always liked this code, it makes it so it takes you to 'Modify Profile' when you click 'Profile' up the top.

New Question:
I'm chatting in the c-box, but no one is responding. I see that at least the Tenth Doctor is on. Why is the Tenth Doctor not responding?

Answer: Because the person playing the Tenth Doctor cannot see the chatbox normally while at her internship site. (Usually is blocked, but occassionally I can see that someone has typed in there...like just now. I didn't respond in there because I'm not sure that I could have. Plus it's blocked at the moment.) Therefore, if you have any questions, please post them in the newcomers thread or in one of the other threads.

to answer your questions, yes, you can make an original companion to travel with the Doctor.
