"Yeah..." Bryan said, then started back at eating. "Maybe I'll tell you the truth later..." he added in a mutter before taking a drink of water. "Don't worry about it too much, you're not the first person to ask. And we're not exactly complete strangers now... more like acquaintances."

Eager to change the subject she replied, "Well, acquaintances isn't good enough. I guess that means more questions. Do you like sports, other than swimming of course? Um... well... what is your favourite type of weather?

Bryan smiled, glad for the change of subject. "Well, mostly water sports, but I have gone horseback riding when I was younger. That was fun. And, uh, I guess my favorite weather is just before a rain storm."

"Sounds fun! Oh, you mean like when you can feel the oncoming storm? That tension in the air?" She asked. That was one of her favourite things about storms.

"Yeah," Bryan said with a smile. "Only it kinda has a different effect on me. It's the low pressure, you see. It kinda makes everything seem lighter to me."

"Yeah, I personally like snow the best. Unfortunately it doesn't snow much around here. But where I grew up it was beautiful, hills covered in blankets of snow, frozen icicles on the edges of buildings, how it glistened in the sun." She sighed, "It was beautiful."

Bryan smiled at that. "Where did you grow up? See, I grew up in the tropics, so it was warm all the time and the only way to really cool off would be when there was a storm or when you went swimming." It wasn't a lie, he did grow up in the tropics of his planet.

"I grew up in North Wales. Right near the base of Mount Snowdon. Pretty high up so it was always really cold and it snowed a lot. Growing up there I hated it, all my life I wanted to leave. I wanted to live in a city. Yet, as soon as I left I missed it and I wanted to go back. I haven't been back there in a long time." She said with a sad smile.

Bryan nodded. "It was the opposite for me. I hated leaving, hated my Mom for moving me here away from Dad's home, my home. But it kinda grew on me." At the mention of his dad, he seemed to sadden a little. He really did miss him, and his mum.

"Well, yeah. It's been hard without them. Don't really have anyone else to rely on anymore," Bryan said. "Hence the frozen lasagna dinner and not the real thing." He looked at their plates. He had been talking so much that he had barely gotten a few bites in. He laughed a bit at that. "So much for eating, huh?"

She shrugged, "This was more interesting than eating anyways." She ate a few more bites of her lasagne.

Bryan smiled. "Yeah, it is. Just have to think up more questions. Wonder how long we can keep this up." He took a few quick bites and a couple of gulps of water while he was remembering to eat and drink.

"I'm so not a morning person," Bryan chuckled. "Definitely a night person. As to my favorite superhero... I guess that would be Beast Boy." He had to admit that someone who knew him better would guess Aquaman, but he didn't like him that much.
