Ieshanavaretta found it vaguely irritating the way that the girl spoke to her. She knew exactly what it meant to have expectations, and yet it was annoying that there was a set way of thinking. "I assure you that if you want someone worthy of friendship..." She began, then thought of insulting the other little girl.

Tylerhathan became noticeably uncomfortable with the direction the conversation seemed to be going in when the Specialist mentioned that she knew several people in high positions who were born naturally. This discomfort level only increased as the Specialist went on to explain more about herself.
After the woman had explained her identity, which Tylerhathan knew she was connecting to the royal family, he stood there a moment, not knowing exactly what to say. His name hadn't originally started with a "T," as that wasn't his natural name. He hadn't even thought about the fact that most of the people in his family had names that started with a "T." His name at birth had started with an "A," instead.
This lady, this Tracenista, was a relative of his -- his first cousin. They shared the same grandfather. He was several hundred years younger than she was, so he didn't know her very well. However, he had heard of her.
He didn't like the ease at which she talked about her family connections when so much had happened. Gallifrey had done so much to try to discourage people to talk about it. It was then that he realized just how much his actions of marrying a human had cost other people. He hadn't thought how it might affect his extended family.
Had she really winked at him? It almost seemed like she had figured it out...but how did she know? The regeneration and everything that went with it had been kept a secret, or so he thought it had. Maybe he was just reading into things. Maybe she didn't know who he was.
Taking a deep breath, he introduced himself to her. "I'm Tylerhathan, and....I...I wouldn't know the actions of those in the High Council."
If she had figured it out, she could be making a report. Had he said something to her that had given his identity away? He had been trying to convince her that nothing would be done in Tyler's case. He hadn't actually been intending to give anything away.
He glanced at her, watching helplessly as she did something with her communication device. "Please...." he said.

Apoguportila glanced up at Hermione as she approached. Looking the girl up and down she nodded to her. "Hello....you...what is your social class, and what do your parents do?"
Apoguportila thought to herself, "This girl doesn't look very important to me....she doesn't act like she's anything special. It would be funny if her parents were plumbers."
The blond little girl next turned her attention back to Ieshanavaretta. 'What was it you were saying? Oh yes...if I wanted someone worthy of friendship, which you most certainly are....all we need to do is stick together. We can make sure that we make it into the academy...we might be able to ensure that some of those...unsuitable for the academy don't make it in." At that sentence, she glanced at the girl who had just joined them. "I have some ideas." She grinned as she said this.

"I"m simply reporting the attack on a child." She stated finally as she looked up at him. Her eyes seemed unfathomable at first - but there was something completely different to this woman. A depth of understanding that most people couldn't get till their later regenerations. She was only on her fifth, but she lived her life out till it ended naturally - or she was killed. Which had happened a few times - twice in the past. She rolled her shoulder back and stared at him.
The rumors about her - was that she was magical, but she wasn't. Magic was a silly notion. But what she did know was people. Each one had an innate sensation associated with the perception of Time. It wasn't a psychic ability - it was an understanding that went above and beyond what a normal Time Lord could understand. Out of anyone and everyone - other then the people that brought the children straight to the Schism - The Specialist had been exposed to it constantly since her first regeneration - since HER Initiation.
"You have my sworn word, that none will know of what you speak. My sworn word - on the title I bear." She said as she looked towards the door. "I'm making a full report, not as a member of his family - but as The Specialist, because I AM obligated to do so. He is going for his Initiation - and I could be fired, and forced to regenerate - if I look past this. As much as they want to erase that the family exists - or that there are natural births, they do exist. And we - we are stronger then some of the others." She said softly. So softly that it couldn't be heard.
This whole time she had been fiddling with a device that gave off a slight hum. A device she used to offer her patients or their parents complete privacy while she worked.

Tylerhathan now knew for certain that his cousin had identified him -- if she hadn't, she wouldn't have referred to his son as her family. Tylerhathan let out a sigh, a long sigh. He'd never been able to talk to anyone about this except for his best friend, the Librarian. How much could his cousin know?
Tylerhathan finally spoke again. "Well, since you seem to have figured it out, I suppose there is no point in hiding it. I don't know how much you know of what happened, and I'm sorry for how it might have affected you....although no one seems to be holding my actions against you. My wife....their mother...was human. Those that were on the High Council eight years ago know this, and they never will accept my children fully as being Gallifreyan, although biologically they are. Time Lord DNA is dominant over human DNA....that is the reason that I'm not sure they will help Tylerelrug. They consider him to be scum, something far less than a Gallifreyan. The children don't know that their mother was human.... Report it, but many Time Lords in high position will dismiss this case..."

"Neither of those questions are of importance to you." Hermione sighed. She figured that she wouldn't fit in. She had never fitted in with anyone. She turned her head away and let a tear roll down her cheek. She wiped at it fiercely and backed away from the others and went and stood by herself. "I should have known nobody would have been nice to me here." she muttered.

Ieshanavaretta stared at the little blond girl that was speaking so directly towards her. Despite the fact she knew what would have brought great honour to her and her family, she couldn't stand the attitude of the other little girl. "No. If you want someone worthy of your friendship, go look for the Slitheen!" She snapped, eyes narrowed dangerously. She would love being able to experiment on the other girl if given the chance, maybe figure out what made her such a nasty child. "And to pick on those born into lower families is not only rude, but useless. Do not forget that before Lord Rassilon, we were all the same. We were not just Time Lords and Time Ladies or Time-Tots, we were Gallifreyan." She stated, head held highly. "So, either you remember that, or you'll never know what I'll do. I very much so enjoy experiments. Oh, and if there is anyone not going to the academy... I'll do everything in my power to make certain it's you, Apoguportila." She said with a smirk, her own little warning.

Apoguportila stared at both of the other girls. "How dare you speak to me like that...both of you. And you," she said to Ieshanavaretta, "I would have thought that you would know better. You are a disgrace to your rank. Are you threatening me? It sounds to me like you are. Go away, then...both of you. I'll look for someone who is better suited to be my friend...someone who knows and recognizes high Time Lord blood.....and if you ever do anything to me....even try experimenting on me...you will be expelled."
With that, she abruptly turned away from the other little girls and stomped off.

"The Schsim let's me know some things. An innate sense of the temporal shifts around me. There is a reason why I'm feared by even my own family. Where as my mother was a simple medical specialist, and my sisters the same - and my father a guard for the royal family. I am different. I can sense the temporal patterns of every being that has been to the Schism, especially if they are younger then me. I can tell their regeneration patterns - and can tell how old they are." She said as she smiled at him blithely her fingers moving across the pad now. Her eyes narrowed as she whistled a soft little tune.
"And because of my position, families and their Looms - owe me the minds of several of their children. Hence how I have favors speckled amongst powerful people. " She stated as she flipped her fingers on the channel. "If someone hurts a child, I get retribution - it doesn't matter the childs genetics. The Children of Gallifrey are my children, since I cannot loom nor carry my own." She stated softly. So couldn't loom her own children because the royal bloodline was continued genetically - they were the only ones exempt from the curse that made natural birth difficult. But she was not compatible with any male on Gallifrey it seemed.

"Thanks." Hermione said to Ieshanaveretta, but she didn't speak any further because she didn't want to get into a fight with her.

Tylerhathan nodded as the Specialist spoke, trying to remember what the Specialist's father looked like. He was a guard to his family, and he did remember the man a little. A confused look crossed his face.
"Wait, what do you mean by saying that families and their Looms owe you the minds of several of your children? Or that you have favors speckled amongst powerful people? And what sort of retribution do you mean that you receive when someone hurts a child?"
He paused a moment before continuing. "Thank you.....thanks for reporting it. I suppose if you do your duty, the outcome will be up to other people. I would like it if Emmehujidat got into trouble....though I probably shouldn't be pleased to delight in someone getting caught. Tyler will heal....right?"

"When children go to the Schism, sometimes they don't understand what they see. The families have their children be tutored and watched over by me - for a small period of time, because I know what the Schism means." She said as her eyes closed. She remembered that first time she had seen it - perhaps the cost of never having children, was her price for the knowledge she had. "I can help the child - come to understand, and I can keep them from going fully insane. There have been a few times - I've managed to save a child's mind. So Families with looms or otherwise - owe me favors for saving said children." She sated lightly.
She allowed her focus to shift as she felt the temporal patters around her. They were still the same mostly - a few quivers here and there. The way it always was - usually. "THe point is this, a lot of people owe me. For their children - and their families, and I can collect those debts at any time." She stated as she patted the ground. "That thrum, that beat. The shift of time - it's an easy thing to understand, when you are me. The ability to help children that don't understand, that's what I do. I'm not just a Medical Specialist."

(oh -- one thing I was going to tell you earlier -- there is no sterile curse thing in this rp site -- I know that it talks about that in some of the Doctor Who books, but my plot with Tylerhathan doesn't make much sense if there is a curse. Anytime anyone talked about being naturally or free born, then people would know that he was part of the royal family. That's why it won't work. I don't want them to know. That's why were were saying that Time Lords looked down on those who didn't use Looms -- and that it was animalistic and just beneath them)
Tylerhathan glanced at her for a moment and nodded. "I see...I...I didn't know that that was what you did...what you were responsible for...but go on, then, and make your report."
Tylerhathan then asked, "What do you mean, collect your wages." That phrase sounded suspicious to him, so he wanted to ask about it -- to get the details. He did know that some children still went insane, and others had mental problems. Did she have control over which ones experienced adverse effects? Or did some simply slip through, despite her efforts.
_______________ Tyler still lay there with Kyra close at his side, waiting for her to help him with the inhaler, or at least talk to him.
_____________________ Nathan moved forward, ready to attack the imaginary Vampire Queen. He continued to pretend to fight her off. "Get them now," he told Koschei. "Before they escape and bring back more soldiers to fight for them!" His cry was urgent, pretending to be in the midst of a crises.
To Rhea, he nodded, "Let me know if you sense a surprise attack any time soon."

To Rhea, he nodded, "Let me know if you sense a surprise attack any time soon."
Koschei dropped to one knee, and made chuff chuff sounds as he swung his imaginary bowgun through an arc. "That's four of them down!" he yelled, "but there's more coming! Fast"
More chuff chuff sounds, then Koschei threw himself on his back and acted like he was grappling with something. "One of them's got me! I don't know if I can hold him off!"

Tylerhathan waited for the Specialist to address him again, anxious to get back to his son.
____________ Tyler groaned in pain, wishing that Kyra would talk to him. ________________ As Koshei pretended that his character was in trouble, Nathan quickly made a mad dash for Koschei. He was supposed to be protecting him in this came -- they were to protect one another.
"Oh no! Don't worry, Rassilon, I have you covered. I can fight the Vampire off for you..."
Nathan pretended to punch the imaginary vampire holding his friend down. "We should have brought more Gallifreyans with us," Nathan lamented. "Now we could really be in trouble...but...I think I can fight this one off...we can fight it off together."
Nathan pretended that one of his arms was pinned down. "Think I got him off of you...but now he has my arm..."
