"Tyler is the boy that my assistant tried to blame for the mess. I was just talking with his father," Dahlia said as she quickly followed Kyra.
"I don-th know hi-th name. Please!" Kyra said frantically, tears running down her face. She didn't want to give up and let fate take away a friend before she even had him.

Rhea shrugged. “I’m sorry they’re that way,” she said, sincerely sympathizing with the boy. “It must be harder to walk and run. But I bet those braces help a lot?” It honestly didn’t matter to her that those things were technically wrong with him or would be sources of criticism or targets of ridicule for others. Instead, she just was sorry that he might have problems with his legs.
She smiled when he said that it didn’t bother her about her family. That was good. Then Rhea didn’t have to worry about it so much. Her parents might not like that she was playing with this boy, but she didn’t really care quite yet. They didn’t know about them being friends, and she would probably let it stay that way. She really liked Nathan so far. “So are we still going to visit your house? You could show me around or we could play a game or something else if you like.” She reached out a hand to help him stand back up for when he was finished putting his braces back on.

(someone want to temp play Koschei until we find someone to play him....or does someone want to take him over permanently?)
Tyler lay there crying. The pain was almost too much for him to bear. He couldn't even send a telepathic message to his father or brother or anyone else. Physically, he was spent. He'd never tried talking to his father telepathically. He tried to reach Nathan, but couldn't make it work. The physical pain tore threw his body, throwing off his concentration.
As he was crying, he worried about both his father and Nathan. What if Emmehujidat did worse to them? He wanted to get up and warn his brother, but when he tried to move, he found he couldn't. The pain ceased him.
Correon followed Kyra and Dahlia. The moment that he saw Tyler, he spoke to Dahlia, "I'm sure you've seen lots of children before. We better get him either to the hospital or to someone's TARDIS."
He hadn't even reached the boy, but he could tell that he was seriously injured. ___________ Nathan accepted Rhea's hand. "Thanks.....and yeah, we can still go to my house. Just had to show you first....in case....in case you didn't want to be my friend because of that. But since you're okay with it....."
He nodded at Rhea. "Yeah, can barely walk without the braces....they help a lot....I can walk and run with them....not run like most people, but I can run a little."

Kyra ran up to Tyler. "I go-th help. You're going th-o be okay."
Dahlia ran off to find her TARDIS. "I'll help get him to the hospital."

Correon nodded to Dahlia. "Okay."
He reached for the boy, but didn't know whether or not he should attempt to move him. Someone would have to move him. ________ Tyler continued to cry. However, he was able to say to Kyra, "Th...anks.....I hope so....what about my brother....and dad....are they okay?"
He continued to cry, his words breaking up as he moaned and cried.

"I think so, but I can try to contact them if you want," Kyra told him, scared. She really didn't want to lose a friend like this. She blamed herself for what happened. Maybe he wouldn't have broken Tyler's arm if she hadn't tried to attack his legs. Maybe if she just ran for help instead they would have caught him. Maybe... So many maybe's when through her head.

Correon waited for Dahlia to return with her TARDIS. While he was waiting, he told Kyra and Tyler, "I don't want either of you using telepathy. We will contact his father once we get him to the hospital."
Tyler continued to cry and he started to cough. He looked at Kyra and noticed how she looked. "He's mean....you couldn't have done anything." From the look on her face, he was wondering if Kyra was blaming herself for what happened.
Correon nodded in agreement. "Yes, child...you did well...you got us, which is what you needed to do."

Kyra let her head hang and tears roll down her cheeks as she kept her mouth shut and just took in the taste of her own blood in her mouth.
Silently a TARDIS appeared beside them. Dahlia quickly came out. "Alright, let's gently get him in. I've already called the hospital, they're getting a room for him as we speak."

Correon nodded to Dahlia. "Okay, let's take him into your TARDIS."
He reached for the boy, careful to pick him up gently in case he had other injuries.
"Lead the way," he said to Dahlia.
"Perhaps we should take him to your infirmary and look him over a bit...or did you want the hospital to do it?" Correon asked Dahlia.
He looked to Dahlia. "Scan him and do everything you need to. I need to get back to the High Council for a meeting. If you need anything, let me know about it telepathically."
"However, where did you want me to put him?" He nodded in the direction of Tyler.

Dahlia nodded and led the way to her TARDIS, unlocking it and going inside when they got there.
Kyra followed. She had just made a new friend, she wasn't going to leave him.
Dahlia said to Correon, once they were in the infirmary of her TARDIS, "Just put him on this bed."
Kyra was by Tyler's side. "I-th gonna be alright. This nice lady is gonna make things be'er."

Correon set Tyler down on the designated bed in the infirmary. After making sure that Tyler was in bed, he turned to Dahlia, "Now, I must be going. Let me know if you need anything...and you might want to contact his parents...."
With that, Correon turned and left, going off to the High Council to see about helping with last minute arrangements for the camp.
Tyler, having cried about as much as he could nodded. "Yeah...I just ...hurt."
He smiled at Kyra. "Thanks for being there for me and for getting help."
Tyler looked worriedly around him. He'd heard Dahlia say that she would take him to the hospital. He'd also heard Correon's words regarding Dahlia contacting his 'parents.' Tyler felt it was important to speak up, "I only have a father...my mother died when I was a baby....."
(it can deviate from the fanfiction net version...just thought you might want to know where we were at so you could do the injuries the same or different)

Dahlia nodded at Correon as he headed out, then started to scan Tyler and tried to reach out to Tylerhathan to inform him of the situation.
Kyra smiled weakly at the boy. "I-th was the leas-th I could do... you think tha'... we can be frien's now?" She bit at her bottom lip a little. She certainly hoped they could be friends.

Tyler allowed himself to be scanned for injuries, afraid to move because it might hurt.
Tyler responded to Kyra, "Yes....yes....of course we can be friends. Why wouldn't we be?" He frowned as a sudden thought came to him. "Oh....maybe we won't be able to see each other much.....I probably won't get into the academy.....if I miss camp. I guess I'm going to the hospital and they will have a bed for me....and.....and I won't get to come."
He frowned some more. If he missed camp, he wouldn't be qualified for the Academy. That thought scared him more than anything else.
Due to all the crying he'd done and still was doing, he was coughing a lot and having trouble breathing. He couldn't reach his inhaler because his right arm was broken, and he didn't want to move.

Koschei was bored, already. He'd seen Nathan's legs and, disturbing and scary and neat as that had been, it was time for something else. Maybe Nathan felt he had to tell people. but really. And why didn't his family just have them fixed? Surely a few minutes under the Looms would take care of them?
He shrugged, waiting for Nathan to finish showing his legs to Rhea. As his pants legs dropped back into place, he stepped in.
"Great! That's settled, then. I'm Koscheipophisiva, by the way. Let's get going. We've got to be back at 7, after all."
Obviously, somebody was going to have to take charge here. Otherwise, they'd never get everything done.

Kyra smiled when he said they could be friends... but it started to fade when he mentioned that he might not be going to the camp. "But... you're registered, right? I know they have doctors at the camp that could help take care of you. It just wouldn't be fair if they kept you out because someone attacked you."
Dahlia could the breathing on the scans and he looked to Tyler. "Tyler, you have asthma right? Do you have your inhaler?"
