(In order to submit a character, please go to the Character Sign-up thread in the General section of the forum. I will then move your character to this thread.)
Fandom: Doctor Who
Character name: Melissa
Species: Time Lord, but was made human using the chameleon arch. Therefore, at the start of the roleplay, she is human.
Gender: Female
Age: 27
Appearance: 5 feet 4 inches tall, brown eyes, dark brown hair, slender.
Character background and other important information: - seminary student from the United States
Melissa's father had held a special sort of intelligence position for the Time Lords. Before the Time War was declared a war...or when things were looking a little iffy, Melissa's father was sent to investigate rumors regarding Dalek activity on another planet. He intercepted a message from the Daleks of their war plans. He and Melissa's mother decided that there eleven or twelve year old daughter would be safer on another planet. He met with a human couple that he had gotten to know on a previous mission for Gallifrey. Melissa's parents trusted this human couple, and so they had Melissa become human and be protected. Melissa's parents decided that they would get Melissa once things were safe, and have her become a Gallifreyan again. However, the war did not go well...and of course Gallifrey was destroyed and everything. This meant that Melissa's parents never came back for Melissa. It would probably be best if Melissa remain human for a while before finding anything else out.
Also, let me add in a human bio information:
Since Melissa won't know anything about being a Time Lord, the history that she will "know" is that she and her family moved from Indiana to Ohio when she was 12. Around the time of the move, her mother (the wife of the man who knew her real Time Lord father) had a daughter named Amanda. A couple years later she had a son named Mark. This will mean that Melissa has a younger sister and brother...but this is part of her adopted family. As I said before, she's a seminary student...and there we go. My character knows nothing about the Doctor or Time Lords or aliens or anything.
Melissa's parents used a chameleon arch on her. That's how she became human.
Important Medical information about character: --when Time Lord only -- has two hearts -- so two pulses in wrists and other pulse points, regenerates when injured fatally, has a respiratory by-pass system when in a situation when normally there is not enough oxygen, blood is different composition than humans. Skin is a cooler temperature than humans, and has a 60 degree internal body temperature

Fandom that your character is from: (Doctor Who, etc.): Doctor Who
Character name: The Doctor (10th one)
Species: Time Lord
Age: 900 something
Appearance: David Tennant
Character background and other important information: How do I even begin to describe him? Male alien from Gallifrey -- he believes himself to be the last Time Lord. He flies around the universe in a ship shaped like a blue police box. It's also a time machine -- he can go anywhere in space and time. He was the one to end the Time War. In ending it, Gallifrey most of the Time Lords, and most of the Daleks were destroyed. The Daleks are another species of aliens -- they were the ones that attacked Gallifrey and other planets. The Doctor likes to travel, picking up people along the way. He also likes to help the people that he meets along the way.
Unknown to the Doctor, his father was part of a royal family on Gallifrey.
I also have another thought here....you know how some people have the Doctor's mother be human in their fanfics? Well, here's my idea with that....I don't know if my friend s going to use this idea in her fanfic, but we could use it in the roleplay. Okay, so my friend had the Doctor's mother be human and the Doctor's father be a Time Lord -- but had the Time Lord genes be dominant over the human ones, so that the Doctor is just like any other Time Lord. (You know about dominant and recessive genes...and how if there is a dominant and a recessive gene, the dominant one will be the trait that the person has). In other words, it wouldn't be like it was in the MIB roleplay with Chelsea. In this roleplay there is no such thing as a half Time Lord. If a person's parent is a Time Lord, then that person will be a Time Lord -- and there will be no difference between someone who has two parents as Time Lords or one parent (because of the dominant genes). My friend isn't the only one who wrote fanfics with that happening....a bunch of people did.
His father was part of royal Gallifreyan family, And the Doctor's father went to Earth for a project that he had been sent to do from Gallifrey (his father can be one of the brightest Gallifreyans out there, so they assigned someone of his level of intelligence some important job that they couldn't assign to most people), and while there, he fell in love with a human female and then married her. When the leaders of Gallifrey found out, they punished his father by making him regenerate, and made it so that everyone else from Gallifrey thought that he had been killed. He was given another name and identity that he had to go by -- and they denied him the right to claim that he was descended from the line that he was. He wasn't allowed to tell his son anything about any of this...... so the Doctor doesn't know.
His mother was killed by a few Time Lords when the Doctor was just a baby -- because they found out that she was human. He was only 5 months old when it happened, and she was shot. He was nursing from her at the time that she was killed. His mother's name was Kari.
The Doctor's human mother was named Kari. Like the Doctor said, she was shot and killed when he was 5 months old.
His father's real name is going to be Aragorn (but longer with more letters....that's just the shortened version of it) (yeah, I"m borrowing from LOTR) -- but the Doctor doesn't know that name. The name that it got changed to was Tylerhathan, so that's what he knows his father as
And the Doctor had a twin brother -- who liked to figure out what was going on, solving puzzles and such. Like most of the rest of the Time Lords, he was killed in the Time War.
Important Medical information about character: has two hearts -- so two pulses in wrists and other pulse points, regenerates when injured fatally, has a respiratory by-pass system when in a situation when normally there is not enough oxygen, blood is different composition than humans. Skin is a cooler temperature than humans, and has a 60 degree internal body temperature, is deathly allergic to aspirin

Fandom that your character is from: Doctor Who
Character name: The Hunter but goes by the alias Tyler Smith
Species: Time Lord, but is currently human due to a chameleon arch
Age: 900 something
Appearance: handsome, appears to be in his late twenties, early thirties -- dark hair, brown eyes, fairly thin.
Home planet and time period: Gallifrey originally, but lives in New York 2010
Character background and other important information: During the Time War he got seriously injured...injured to the point that he had to regenerate. The regeneration didn't go so well, and he would have died if an old professor from the Academy hadn't found him and took him out of the middle of the battle. He was presumed to be dead. Correon, the professor who saved him, was afraid that someone was trying to kill him...a fellow Time Lord. Therefore, while the Hunter was unconscious, he put him in a chameleon arch and programmed a TARDIS to take him to Earth.
Upon landing in Earth, he made a life by himself by going to college and then to graduate school. He is studying physics at a school in New York, and is a first year student. He had lived in London and then Iowa when he first came to Earth.
For additional character information -- it will be revealed as the roleplay progresses.
Important Medical information about character: has moderate asthma
When Time Lord additional medical information applies: has two hearts -- so two pulses in wrists and other pulse points, regenerates when injured fatally, has a respiratory by-pass system when in a situation when normally there is not enough oxygen, blood is different composition than humans. Skin is a cooler temperature than humans, and has a 60 degree internal body temperature, has moderate asthma
mildly allergic to chihuahuas, moderately allergic to exotic grasses, crabgrass, and maple and oak trees. gallifreyan red grass

Dr. Gabriel Johnathon Jones (Image Pending...)
Name: Doctor Gabriel Johnathon Jones
Age: 30
Species: Human, part Time Lord
Planet of Origin: Earth
Occupation: Leader of Torchwood X
Physical Description: Gabe is a handsome and very physically fit person. He has green eyes and black hair which he wears 50's style. He commonly dresses in a white suit with a black shirt and common shoes, white bracers and a white bow-tie. He usually conceals a mutitude of weapons somewhere on his person.
Personality: Gabriel is arrogant and cynical, but also very intelligent and tough. His tendency towards apathy is counteracted by his fierce passion to protect the planet and it's inhabitants. He is a very capable leader and and expert in many forms of combat. He tends towards womanizing and does not hesitate to let others take a blow for him. However, he is not a totally unlikeable person. As said previously he feels a large desire to protect others, and when people he likes are in danger he will go to the end of the world to save them. However, as his mother often said, he only has one heart.
History: Gabriel was the son of Susan, the Doctor's granddaughter, and Oliver Jones, a time agent. He was thus part time lord. Oliver was killed by a Dalek attack, but he sent Susan and Gabriel back to the 80's. He trained to be a doctor upon Susan's recommendation. However, as he got older, he soon established himself as the opposite of his great-grandfather. But like the latter, Gabriel felt that urge to protect people, to make them better. When Torchwood 3 collapsed after children of earth, Gabriel decided to create Torchwood X, a worldwide collective lead by himself.

Canon
Name: Sarah Jane Smith
Age: 23
Species: Human
Planet of Origin: Earth
Occupation: Journalist but still saver of the human race.
Physical Description: Strong, fierce features, Sarah Jane always appeared brilliant. She has muscular cheekbones and a strong nose and usually always brunette with a slim figure. Her eyes are always full of emotion.
Personality: Sarah generally tries to befriend aliens. As a companion, Sarah is confident, inquisitive and possessed a sharp mind as well as a sharp tongue. She was also something of a feminist; she was infuriated when the Doctor asked her to make coffee and she often verbally sparred with fellow companion Harry Sullivan over his chauvinistic and unintentionally patronising attitude towards her. Her feminism was more practical than fanatical.
History: Prior to meeting the Doctor, Sarah Jane was a journalist who would use her aunt, Lavinia Smith, a famous virologist. Her parents died in her infancy, but more specific history is not revealed as she is still early in her travels with the Doctor.

Original
Name: Cosmos
Age: 899
Species: Time Lord
Planet of Origin: Galifrey
Occupation: Traveller/ pest sometimes (He's always in trouble... and he's the one whose probably caused it)
Physical Description: Tall, a bit similar to the doctor’s height but shorter, about 4 inches shorter than the tenth Doctor, Scruffy ginger hair which can be explained as a mop. He wears a leather dark blue jacket with an orange tinged white shirt underneath, with a white and black jumper sometimes (Don't ask where). Black loose jeans with a very dark red pair of boots and dark blue socks. (Yes he loves wearing dark colours of everything)
Personality: Looney. He is very energetic exactly like the eleventh Doctor in a way and loves everything always for a go, careless. Hums when he's doing something that either is thinking of a plan or just waiting for his brother to spot the obvious, Kind and outgoing doesn't have much of a mean streak, unless he is teased and put into it. Travels a lot and is mostly stranded somewhere without a TARDIS. He's never able to fly his TARDIS so occasionally looses it. Loves to wander astray and is hopeless in directing.
History: Has always seen the world in a different light, he is different to the Doctor in a way as he remembers things he shouldn't and the history he knows is different to his brothers. Cosmos see's the world in a different light and must keep his emotions to himself for the times to come and the adventures yet to come that cosmos has had already. He loves his brother to pieces and not even a grudge can change it, he would rather die than see him killed. During the Time war he managed to escape just slightly damaging his TARDIS (Appearance of it red phone box) which he get’s described as a nutter for talking to a lot to it, upon escaping he had been stuck in the time vortex for repairing his ship. The rest of his history is forgotten. He firstly escaped in his third regeneration and came back to the time war.
Additional information supplied by me: (Eleven, if you don't like this, let me know, and we can edit it.) He is a half brother to the Doctor and the Hunter, and the Hunter's death was reported to Cosmos as well. He has a different mother than the Doctor and Hunter, since their mother was killed when the twins (the Doctor and the Hunter) were five months old. Their father met and married a Time Lady who became Cosmos' mother. Tylerhathan, the Doctor's father's, identity was never revealed to Cosmos either. Like his half brothers, he is unaware that the twins' mother was human.
For RP's that take place after the time war, unless the RP is using a setting in which the Doctor already knows that Cosmos is alive, the Doctor should be unaware that Cosmos survived the Time War. (Remember, Nine, Ten, and Eleven think that they are the last Time Lord).

She's a canon.
Her name is Susan Foreman.
She's around four hundred and sixty years old.*
She's a Time Lady from the planet Gallifrey.
Her occupation is a wanderer. She'd like to find her grandfather.
Appearance; Susan's new body was similar to the one she had when she began her travels with Ian and Barbara and her grandfather. Unlike her grandfather's penchant for appearing older and wise (at least he had when she knew him) she preferred a younger form.** She kept her hair short and black as it had originally been. Instead of the sixties of fashion, however, she kept it straightened to give it more of a modern look. Her eyes had changed from dark brown to a bright shade of blue, much like her grandfather's. Susan had opted to be taller than her previous form - for both practical reasons (she couldn't reach the tops of her cupboards) and personal reasons (she found that there wasn't nice pants for short people). Her skin retained the paleness from her original form.
Personality; Susan could remember a time when she had been reluctant to join her grandfather on his journeys. All she had wanted was to just to settle down and start a family. During her travels with her grandfather she witnessed pain and death, rarely beauty of any sort. Eventually she found love in David Campbell. The Doctor had forced her out of the TARDIS and locked her out, leaving her in post-invaded Earth. He knew that because she was intensely loyal to him she wouldn't have left of her own free will.
After both her son and her husband died, as humans do, Susan felt the need to change. She voluntarily regenerated. Much of her personality remained the same - her fear of rats and her loyal nature being a few - however she did change. She thrived for adventure, unlike the previous Susan who had merely wanted to be domestic. Her new-found sense of adventure went unfulfilled due to being stuck in one time period without a TARDIS or even a vortex manipulator.
The woman was considerably more introverted and cynical than her previous incarnation. She was not aloof by any means, but she wasn't a social butterfly. Susan had a tendency to over-analyze what people say and dwell on them. She's gotten in the habit of using her telepathic skills to read the surface thoughts of what others think; she finds it helpful when trying to judge whether somebody means a comment jokingly or hostile.
History; History; Susan left Gallifrey with her grandfather. Before staying on Earth for five months they traveled to various planets and time periods. After settling on the destination the girl changed her name to 'Susan Foreman', most likely do to the 'Foreman' owning the land on which she and her grandfather resided. While during her five-month stay on Earth she attended a local school and impressed her teachers Ian and Barbara with her advanced history and science knowledge. They puzzled over her lack of knowledge of basic things -- how many shillings in a pound, for example.
Her adventures began when they followed her home. Soon all three had been kidnapped by the Doctor and were waist-deep in adventures and excitement. Susan often expressed her desires to just settle down and start a family - something she longed for, perhaps, because of her grandfather's restlessness and her desire to break away from what was expected as a relative of the infamous Time Lord. Although she wished to settle down, she felt that her time with her grandfather had been cut off too quickly.
When she fell in love the man had effectively kicked her out. Although she understood his intentions she couldn't help but resent him after Alex and David passed away. She was stuck on Earth without a way back to Gallifrey, and to make matters worse she was stuck in the future without a TARDIS or time traveling device. Although her previous incarnation had met up with the Doctor a few times after later regenerations on his part, she still had not seen him for at least twenty years - although, what did time matter when one was a Time Lord? For her grandfather perhaps only days passed.
Her human husband had passed on due to being shot while working as a freedom fighter. He was recognized as a national hero for defending London and the world against the Dalek invasion. Her son soon joined a rebel resistance, hurt after his father's death. After the Doctor went back in her life briefly to intervene and make sure that Alex didn't get himself killed when aliens attacked, the teenage Time Lord grew restless. He went out to go fight against an alien threat that was rumoured to be taking hold in a club. However, Alex was murdered and death took hold too quickly, not allowing him enough time to regenerate.
She was approximately four hundred and fifty when she decided that she needed a change. It was her first regeneration, and she found another reason to be bitter with her grandfather. He hadn't told her how much it would hurt. When she looked back on it she can't see how she had expected it to be painless. Her entire anatomy had changed - her limbs had grown, her eyes changed, her skin burnt, and her chest had to make room for another heart. Perhaps the Time Lords' greatest advantage was meant to be such a disadvantage.

Original
Name: Nieve White
Age:216 (but she looks about sixteen)
Species:Dark Viriel(my own invention, dark doesn't refer to their personality but instead their physical traits like dark hair) Not much is known about the original creation or generations of Viriels. There are only a few still alive, mostly scattered through history on Earth. They look just like humans which makes it very easy for them to blend in, the few differences between Viriels and humans are: -Viriels can pull wings (color, texture(feathers, leather, etc) size depend on each one personally) from their back when needed, can be stored in their back in a similar fashion to bigger on the inside with a dash of time vortex power -they can usually control one of the elements, eg water, wind, earth, etc -age very slowly the usual life span of a Viriel is over 1000 years. -there are two variations of Viriels, Light and Dark. Light Viriels usually have blond or white hair and pale, pastel colored eyes, where as Dark Viriels have dark or brightly colored eyes and black or brown hair. Viriels very rarely have red hair. -Viriels tend to be very graceful and have extremely high physical and mental endurance -some Viriels have empathic abilities, seer sight, or magic of a sort( isn't real magic it is simply a manipulation of the time vortex energy they have as part of them naturally. Some people believe that Viriels where created from the Time Vortex it's self by the Wolf Goddess of Time. -Heal extremely quickly and without scaring, similar to Jack but wounded enough and they will die.
Planet of Origin: Unknown, the history of the Viriels has been lost
Occupation: Living life in 21st century knowing she is different, Torchwood ONE(three is too cool for that) captures her and experiments on her for over 150 years, escapes/ is rescued by doctor somehow(I don't know how or anything but it was an idea of how i could be incorporated into the story)
Physical Description: Short about 5'2", very petite but not boyish in any way. Dark brown nearly black hair that falls to her waist in loose ringlets. Very pale creamy skin. Soft facial features not a single sharp line or corner. Her eyes are hard to explain( their modeled of one of my friends eyes who i love) There are three rings of color, a dark green nearly black on the outer edge then a silvery one in the middle followed by another green one right around her pupil. They are quite unnerving to look straight into. Her eyes are quite large and framed by long dark lashes. She has a small petite nose and soft pink lips. her cheeks are slightly rosy but not overly so. (as you can clearly see i have spent way to much time thinking about this girl.
Personality: Very quite, constantly wanting to please people, unable to accept that people could ever like her let alone love her (because of what Torchwood did). Very skittish, is lonely even when in a large crowd, doesn't relate easily to people. Tries to find something good in everyone even if they are hurting her. Doesn't particularly like being near extremely outgoing people but will never complain because it would mean that she was left on her own. As you can see she has been clearly mentally if not physically scarred by what Torchwood did to her.
History: i sort of explained it at the top but i will explain more of what happened before she was caught by Torchwood. She was found in an old barn when she was just 8 months old. in and out of foster care until she was sixteen because everyone was afraid of her because weird things happened around her. when she was sixteen she was kicked out of the orphanage and had to survive living on the streets before Torchwood found her.

Canon.
The Sixth Doctor.
Around 700 years old.
He's a Time Lord. They come from Gallifrey.
What doesn't the Doctor do? His occupation is a bit of everything.
The Sixth Doctor was a walking fashion faux-pas. His blond curls were unruly; creating almost a type of afro look, akin to the 4th Doctor. His eyes were blue and often widened, often hinting at the manic curiosity that was present in the man. He had rather large ears that he hid in his hair. His nose was broad. His jawline was strong and almost like a square. His lips were often quirked in an amused smile; or when they weren't, they were set in an angry frown. His face could be described as, in short, 'regal'. He is tall, perhaps one of the tallest incarnations of the Time Lord. He has a loud voice.
His outfit was perhaps one of the most peculiar things visible about him. Full of clashing colors, one can't help but to look twice at the flamboyant outfit. Red, yellow, blue, orange, pastel, all wrapped into one amazing technicolor dreamcoat. He often wore a blue picnic tie worn loosely around his neck. His collar had two question marks, something else that clued people in to his curious nature. He often carried around a multicolored umbrella. His waistcoat bore a neon-green watchchain, and he was often seen in yellow-and-black striped trousers.
On his left lapel he bore a cat pin that he rotated often. There were about eight cat pins that he wore - varying in species and colors. He has a white tabby with grey stripes; a black cat on all fours with its back arched; a white cat; an orange tabby; a black cat; a Scottish Fold; a Siamese; and finally a white cat with an oversized head and upright tail. He prefers the white tabby pin, although he does wear them all.
Describing the Sixth Doctor's personality is akin to explaining the color blue to a blind man. His love for cats is reflected in his personality. A cat is often moody, aloof, and their curiosity is trumped only by their tendency to survive whatever comes their way. Unlike a cat, however, he stood his ground. He did not like to have his authority questioned, but, since it's the Doctor that happened to him a lot. He had a short temper, and was quick to resort to violence more than any other of his incarnations, even taking up guns on occasion.
He was unpredictable. Arrogant. Tenacious. Childish. Narcissistic. Did we mention tenacious? He was a Doctor that believed he was infallible. He never doubted his own ability, and he believed himself to be greatly superior to everyone he encountered; especially his companions. He had major mood swings. He could deep and ponderous one moment and then on top of the world and full of energy the next. He had an affinity for poetry and quotes; often reciting them when events reminded him of them. He was also very brilliant, even managing to fix his TARDIS' chameleon circuit for a brief time, allowing it to change shapes.
Like all Doctors, he has his own quirks. He often walks in the opposite direction of where he needs to, an action that was mirrored by later incarnations. When somebody says something that he founds uncouth or strange, the Doctor will act shocked and repeat the phrase several times, his melodramatic shock crescending until the Doctor makes no sense. He didn't like carrot juice, although he drinks it due to his diet.
The Sixth Doctor's history all began with the death of the Fifth Doctor. The Fifth Doctor had sacrificed himself to a slow death from a poisnous drink, giving the only antidote to his copanion at the time. After the regeneration, something went wrong and the Sixth Doctor was born into a fit of rage and paranoia, going so far as to accuse of Peri of being an evil alien spy and attempting to choke her to death.
As for medical information he doesn't have any, unless you count that he's a strict vegan.
The RP boards he would frequent kind of depends. He did a crossover with another Doctor once. Since there probably isn't going to be a lot of classic companions (at least not from the sixth Doctor's era) I'm going to say.. all of them if it isn't too much trouble. :]
Played by: Susan whose other profile is the Sixth Doctor

Canon: The Fifth Doctor
Name: The Doctor
Other Names: The Supremo
Age: 800-ish
Species: Time Lord
Planet of Origin: Gallifrey
Occupation: Everything
Physical Description: The Fifth Doctor is a young, fair haired man with a pleasant, open face. He wears the dress of an Edwardian Cricketer, striped trousers, fawn coat with red piping, a white cricketing sweater and an open necked shirt. The whole wardrobe is topped of with a sprig of celery in the lapel.
Personality: He is probably the most human and vulnerable of all the Doctors, less pretentious and selfish, often reacting to situations rather than initiating them and openly expressing his hopes and fears to his companions.
Despite his youthful body and love of cricket, he is one of the least physical Doctors, preferring to use communication and diplomacy to solve a problem.
He often willingly participates in situations under the leadership of someone else who had the strong command presence that he lacks.
Of all the Doctors, the Fifth is the one who showed the greatest abhorrence for violence and needless bloodshed as well as the pain and suffering of others.
History: The Fourth Doctor regenerated after he entered into battle against the Master, who had reconstituted himself. During the battle he picked up two companions, Tegan Jovanka and Nyssa of Traken. While struggling with his enemy, the Doctor fell off the Pharos Project radio telescope down to the ground hundreds of feet below. The mysterious entity known as the Watcher, which had been tracking him through time and space, then merged with him and he regenerated into the Fifth Doctor
What RP boards: Obviously, the fifth Doctor, maybe some crossover boards, I'll come if you call for me.

Personality: Sarcastic; always making jokes, especially at the wrong times. Very loyal, but not always trusting. Has sort of a 'why not?' attitude. CanonThe Second DoctorName: The Doctor Age: Supposedly around 450, but does he really know his age? Species: Time Lord Planet of Origin: Gallifrey Occupation: Cosmic hobo Physical Description: Compared to his predecessor, he looks positively scruffy. His dark hair is on the long side and never seems properly combed. As to clothes, they are superficially similar to those worn by his previous incarnation, but it is as though they’ve been put into a clownifying machine. The trousers are now plaid and overly large, and instead of the more elegant cravat of earlier years, he usually opts for a bow-tie. He has also been spotted wearing a top hat, fur coat, and even a stocking cap. Personality: Beneath his avuncular, generally cheery, and sometimes downright buffoonish exterior lies a strong will and keen intellect. However, he is often more than willing to let adversaries think he hasn’t cottoned on to their plans. Despite his kindly affect, there is a streak of ruthlessness about this Doctor, and he can be coldly manipulative when the situation warrants it, though he is highly moral and always acts towards the greater good. Under pressure, he is prone to panicking, and his moods are mercurial, shifting from jovial to glowering at the drop of one of his many hats. At the same time childlike, reckless, and keen to have exciting adventures, he seems to actually relish the company of his traveling companions, as well as the pleasures of music-making via his recorder. History: The Doctor regenerated for the first time after a debilitating encounter with the Cybermen. He seemed disoriented by the change, because he kept referring to his previous self in the third person. However, his intelligence and resourcefulness were untouched, and right away he showed signs of sly cunning, assuming the identity of the murdered Earth Examiner in order to gain access to the human colony on Vulcan. Additional medical information: With his first “renewal,” he grew a second heart. What RP board(s): All of the above except Time War, School Days, and Doctor's Parents.
