Canon/Original: Canon
Name: Madame Vasta
Age: 33
Species: Silurian
Planet of Origin: Earth
Occupation: Vigilante
Physical Description: Vasta is humanoid with scaly skin, crests on her head, a very long tongue filled with venom, and no external ears. She wears an almost komono-like outfit with a v-neck, belt, and skirt, but the fabrics and patterns are typical of Victorian London. Due to her nightly activities, Vasta also wears double-swords and remains in good shape.
Personality: Mostly logical, cool, and collected, Vasta also has the capacity for fearful vengeance. She manages to keep it in check, but she has been known to eat humans. She is loyal, always fulfilling her promises and debts. Jenny, her human romantic partner, manages to bring out another side of Vasta that usually remains unseen. Despite Jenny's influence, Vasta can be very critical of 'Mammals'. Vasta is a leader and a strategist.
History: tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Vastra has a LOT of information on her. I don't know if it's actually legit, but it makes sense. I'm going to accept it as canon. It says that Madame Vasta woke up from hibernation, due to some construction, to find that all of the other Silurians hibernating with her were dead. Enraged, she took out her revenge on the construction workers until The Doctor (the website doesn't say which one) shows up and convinces her to not give into her anger and grief. After acting in theater, she becomes a bank robber. While living in Cheapside, Vasta sees Jenny being attacked by a street mob. Vasta rescues her and ends up having a relationship with her. When we see her in “A Good Man Goes To War”, it is obvious she's a vigilante because she ends up killing and eating Jack the Ripper, and Jenny makes it seem like this is normal. It also seems like she's known the Doctor for a long time, since she knows about Time Lords and calls him 'old friend' at one point.
Additional Medical Information: Due to her awesome sword skills, nothing to report (other than being a reptile creature, of course).
