Ada eyed the gun for just a moment, then grabbed it. Quite a bit more quickly than she meant to, actually. The metal was cold in her palms, and oh so shiny... She could see reflections of the entire TARDIS, she felt. Oh, but that was silly. Yet she had to wonder what else he had in those pockets, if Alec could produce this without batting an eyelid. Yet, he was a timelord. A weird race, from the little she'd gathered. Ada had meant to ask more, but hadn't gotten around to it. Alec was... just a little difficult to talk to, since they were still on strange terms. Should she try to make peace, get on his good side? It seemed like a lot of trouble... but yeah. She'd have to.
"Shapeshifter? Where do you learn this stuff?" Ada glanced at the thing that was apparently a Nostrovite. "It can't all be from time traveling." Ada turned the gun over in her hands. It was so perfectly smooth. This visitor Alec had brought was talking, which was a bit weird to hear out of a snake. Ada wasn't used to the strange races timelords had come across, and quite frankly, this was one of the first aliens she'd met. The girl kept the gun in her hands, but let her arm fall down at her side and watched Chadirra. She wasn't sure what to think of the shapeshifter yet, really.
