Canon/Original: Original
Name: Ada Clemency
Age: 21
Species: Human
Planet of Origin: Earth
Occupation: Ex-student, no current occupation
Physical Description: Ada is a “ginger” in the worst way. She usually colors her hair to be a bit more brown, which she thinks fits her grey-green eyes a lot more. Her skin is pale, her five foot, five inch frame thin; This frailty is due to a lack of stable income rather than choice, however. She normally looks just a little too disheveled, her hair rapidly brushed, bags under her eyes, giving Ada the overall appearance of a run-ragged unemployed twenty-something.
Personality: Strong willed, strong minded Ada. She grew up trying to fend for herself, each challenge becoming just another obstacle for her to knock down. However, ever since she was a child, Ada has felt there was something not quite right with her. She believes her mind might be breaking down, but puts on a false front. And a good one too, as her foster-parents never would have expected that iron-willed little Ada was hallucinating.
History: Following the death of Ada’s parents, she was placed into the system. For the little girl of three, this seemed a terrifying time, but far from the terrifying experiences that entered her dreams at night. The baddies, as she had then called them, would scream and bite, but never at her, no. They bit and destroyed the other monsters. Large metal saltshakers with cold voices, robot men with people inside them, bugs who talked and walked… each of these dreams she told to her foster-parents, but they would only laugh. Ada learned not to talk to anyone about these dreams, not even her closest friends.
Following a few years of floundering as a history student in junior college, Ada dropped out of school. But she didn’t just do that. For all intents and purposes, she disappeared. The green-eyed, quiet girl had started to see her childhood dreams once more, but they no longer were little fantasies she could wake up from. They whispered words in her waking ears, and now and again, she saw things—things she couldn’t understand. Her studies waned, and the girl became a hermit. She would search for answers on the internet, in libraries, but to no avail. Eventually, Ada chose to run. She’s been running ever since. And she plans to find out what’s going on.
Additional Medical Information: Ada thinks herself insane, and she is rather sickly, but she had no medical issues beyond that.
