A Doctor Who Thanksgiving Poem (aka, just some Doctor Who crack)
The table was set, the meal was out.
It all looked good, no cause for doubt.
The Doctor inspected his holiday meal,
His sonic screwdriver let out a squeal.
Sonic screwdriver's must be put away!
This is a time to thank, not to play.
Said elder Timelords to the young Doctor,
Their faces drawn, no sign of laughter.
Petulantly, he crossed his arms, and
His screwdriver set off the fire alarms.
In all of the chaos and during the panic,
He licked his lips, his grin a bit manic.
His stomach growled and he picked up his fork,
And dug into his meal of roast turkey and pork!
Gallifrayan vs American Thanksgiving, different planets and situations, same concept. For those that celebrate, have a Happy Holiday!
