The ballroom doors burst open. Men in red and silver uniforms, the uniforms of the Chancellary Guard, began to file in. Following in their wake came a man in the black and silver of the Chancellary Castellan, a thin man with a hawk nose, salt and pepper hair, and a black and grey goatee.
"My Lords," he said, then "My Ladies," with a nod towards the Phantom and the Psychologist. "By order of the Lord President and the High Council of Gallifrey, I must order you all to hold fast and submit to Law. You are charged with dereliction of your Duty to your Houses, your Families, and to the Protocols of History."
He smiled. "I am the Master, Chancellary Castellan. And you will obey me."
The Guard raised their staser rifles at the words

This is impossible, Ramachulainn thought. Gallifrey is dead. The thought did not make the the impossible Chancellary Guardsmen vanish.
There was a blur of motion as the human in attendance sprouted cybernetic tentacles, siezed one of the women, and fled. Several Guardsmen raised their rifles, only to shriek in pain. Ramachulainn smiled. A quiescence field...
He raised his left hand, spoke into a disk affixed to the back. "Dios, amber seven."
The Ark began to fade. As it did, he turned to the One and to Flynn Delta. "My Lord President? My Lord Marshall? I recommend that we make an escape, before we are subdued."

"I am the Master, Chancellery Castellan. And you will obey me." The Guard raised their staser rifles at the word. .
"No." Said The One. Fear, tinted with a deep sadness, filled his face, then became quickly clouded by rage and pompousness.
"Gallifrey is dead. It died a long a long time ago. I watched it burn, by the Doctor's hand. And you are not the Master, nor Chancellery Castellan. You are merely a hoax. I, on the on the other hand, am the last true Lord President of Gallifrey." The One smirked. "I am the One. Know me, and die."
The One's golden eyes blazed, and he pulled a Sontaran blaster from his dress suit. It never hurt to bend the rules, especially when Time Lords were involved. He knew he couldn't take them down, supposed to exist or not. But if he died, he would take a few with- "My Lord President? My Lord Marshall? I recommend that we make an escape, before we are subdued."
Escape. All the arrogance and pride in his body strained against it. But fear and cowardice overwhelm a man's pride any day. The One chose cowardice. He turned, halted to fire a warning shot at the so- called "Chancellery Castellan", then started retreating to his TARDIS.

"You heard him, Lord Marshall, let's- Wait, since when was The One, a general of The Time-War? Because I don't recall...? Wait, neither of you know do you? Ugh! People never know do they? He isn't The Lord President here, I Am."
Flynn grabs them both by the arms and hauls them out of the room and towards his TARDIS.

(( A notation, 11. If that Laser hits anyone, The One will feel whatever pain he just inflicted upon the target, and the target will take no damage. The Peace Field is still in place, the only one not effected by it is The Mentalist. ))

The blast bounced harmlessly into a wall, scorching it slightly. The One pulled open his TARDIS door. As he was about to vanish inside, he stopped, then turned to look at the others.
"Hurry. Get in here. He may be a hoax, but those staser rifles are real."
The One pulled out his sonic. It hummed for a minute, glowed golden, and the ballroom doors were deadlocked shut.
"I think the 'Chancellery Castellan' here will be stuck in here for quite a while." The One smirked.

"No." Said The One. "Gallifrey is dead. It died a long a long time ago. I watched it burn, by the Doctor's hand. And you are not the Master, nor Chancellery Castellan. You are merely a hoax. I, on the on the other hand, am the last true Lord President of Gallifrey."
The Master's beard twitched as he smiled an indulgent smile. "Perhaps that is even true. For the Gallifrey you ruled, Onrifallayraio. But I assure you, I am the Master, and I am Chancellary Castellan, and only your Gallifrey - a Gallifrey that failed - perished."
He didn't flinch as the warning shot discharged, and he didn't appear concerned as the ballroom doors locked.
"I think the 'Chancellery Castellan' here will be stuck in here for quite a while." The One smirked.
"I, on the other hand," Ramachulainn observed as he moved towards the One's TARDIS, "believe he will be stuck in here for about as long as is required for a staser to disintegrate a door." He paused, looked around. "And those doors do not appear sturdy."
Then he looked at Flynn. "My Lord? At the moment, I am unconcerned as to which of you has precedence." He drew his sword. "Allow me to cover both of your retreats, and then we may discuss the matter at our leisure."
"Take them," the Master said, waving his hand in the direction of the One's TARDIS. He turned his attention to the other group of Time Lords.
A small group of Guards slung their weapons and advanced, bare handed.

As the Master spoke, The One's face grew darker and darker.
After a moments pause the One responded.
"You wouldn't say that. You're from another universe, right? Our Gallifrey-and the the Time Lords that ruled it-was the greatest civilization in all the universes. You wouldn't know. You wouldn't know what it was like there, in the Time War. You wouldn't know the terror of Nightmare Child, you wouldn't know the horror, the horror of dying, and regenerating, and regenerating again, only to die one more time. The Citadel, burning, the Time Lords dying. And the Daleks. You wouldn't know the Daleks...Koschei.
The One slammed his TARDIS door shut.

Flynn watched horribly as the The One sealed Flynn off from his TARDIS. "You Fool! You Bloody Fool!" Flynn screamed as he bashed on The One's TARDIS door. "Ramachulainn! Can you get me to my TARDIS!? I have a plan on how to end this debacle before it gets out of hand!"

The One slammed his TARDIS door shut. The Master lifted an eyebrow, then turned his attentions back to Lord xandavier.
"You Fool! You Bloody Fool!" Flynn screamed as he bashed on The One's TARDIS door. "Ramachulainn! Can you get me to my TARDIS!? I have a plan on how to end this debacle before it gets out of hand!"
"I have no idea where it is," Ramachulainn answered, watching the Guardsmen approach and fully aware that Master had just taken out the quiessence field. "But, if you can advise me where it is, I shall do my best."
He drew the broad-bladed sword that hung at his hip, and gave the oncoming Guardsmen a hard look. "I have no desire to harm you," he said warningly, "but I have a Duty to my Lady the Specialist and I will not permit you to hinder me."

"It's just outside those doors! The ones that The Stupid One just sealed! They can't be aloud to get there hands on it!" Flynn shouted as he pulled out a staser assault rifle and aimed it at the guard. "If we can get out of here soon that would be great." He says nervously.

Less than a minute after it slammed shut, the One's TARDIS door swung open. The doorway was empty. Suddenly, the One's voice spoke.
"TARDIS, activate aggressive defense protocol 750." The One's TARDIS, a golden orb, began to rumble. A large portion of the left side seemed to just...disappear. The was a whirring sound. And out rolled a monster.
"I found it, years ago, on the Junk world of Saflay 5, Broken. Destroyed." The monsters' silvery armor shined in the artificial light of the ballroom as it rotated.
"It's energy was severely depleted, and i couldn't restore it. But yet, it still had enough energy to defend me in a time of need. I could reprogram it. Rewrite it's DNA. And also.."
The One stepped out of the TARDIS door.
"I felt a strange pull to it. It's the last of it's kind. just like us. Not the last of it's species, but the last of it's kind."
The last of the Skaro Daleks, sole survivor of the Sect of Skaro, rolled to a stop.
"Time Lords, Time Ladies, I give you a Black Dalek. One of sole survivors of the Daleks that originated on Skaro, and the last member of the Sect of Skaro, called by some The order of Skaro, and the very, very last of the Dalek War-Generals of the Time War."
The One smiled savagely.

In his time, he killed hundreds. Thousands fell by his hand, from the Slitheen of Raxicoricofallapatoria, to the Cybermen of the doomed world, Mondas. He killed, and slew. And his name became known by many.
Fax. Black Dalek Fax.
Then came the Time War. Fax was appointed War-General. And he killed. As The Time War raged, as hundreds fell, Dalek and Time Lord alike, Fax killed. As Meanwhiles and Neverwheres fought with the time Lords, and the creator Davros flew into the jaws of the Nightmare child, Fax killed. And when the Doctor sealed the War in the time Lock, he burned. Fax burned.
The burnt, sealed, and hibernating Dalek passed from hand to hand for decades, centuries. But none could open the sealed Travel Machine. And the Dalek slept.
But then. Then came...One. One gave him new life. Now Fax served One. And for One, Fax would kill again.
Yes, he would kill indeed.

The Master's fight with Lord Xandavier paused. "What is that?" he asked, more curious than anything else.
Ramachulainn gaped in horror. "Dalek," he whispered.
"Time Lords, Time Ladies, I give you a Black Dalek. One of sole survivors of the Daleks that originated on Skaro, and the last member of the Sect of Skaro, called by some The order of Skaro, and the very, very last of the Dalek War-Generals of the Time War."
The Chancellary Guard unslung their stazer rifles.
Ramachulainn hurled himself towards the doors Flynn indicated, drawing his pistol. It whined six times, each shot blasting a hinge away. The doors collapsed to the ground with a crash.
"Where through here?" he shouted, abandoning dignity to sprint through the doorway.

Flynn stoodstill, both of his hearts stopped. Fax Black Dalek Fax Flynn started laughing, slowly his laughter started to get louder and louder. He took of like a rock down the hall towards his TARDIS. He flies inside, he was in there for about a minute, before he came back out.
He was holding some kind of hand cannon. He rushes back to the ball room. "Hello Fax! It's been a while since I left you for dead on that rock, hasn't it?! I should have killed you there! I'll fix that mistake now!!" He aims the cannon at Fax and fires, it launches a a fairly largey piece of metal. The metal embedds itself into Fax's casing, the metal releases a gas into the casing which will cause the mutant in side to explode.

The One watched calmly as Flynn emerged with his cannon.
"Ah-ah. I don't think you want to do that, friend. The Peace field is still in place, so the damage to Fax would redirect itself onto you. And his travel machine is quite different from the one you left of Saflay 5. Reinforced Gallifreum, one of the the strongest metals in all the universe, blended with dalekanium*, a rare mineral forged on Skaro, made with the capability to disrupt nearby wells of Time Vortex energy."
"Or, in this case, the power to destroy a TARDIS. And I don't think anyone here fancies seeing all things, everywhere, anywhere, anytime, anyplace, be obliterated into nothingness. Hmm? you could quite do that by cracking the Travel armor, eh, Ioki, old friend."
The One cackled madly.
"And now, for these New time Lords of Gallifrey." He strode up to The master, walking past the Chancellery Guard, well aware that thier weapons would not hurt him in the slightest.
"Now, my friend, there is one thing I want to know, before this silly game of charades is over."
"Where. Is. Your. Gallifrey?"
*(See thread 'Deadly Games' for the first reference to Dalekanium)
