Please, take a look at Iris' Profile - she's "canon", but she's only ever appeared in audio and print form.
Iris has encountered several incarnations of The Doctor, and several of his Companions. I would LOVE to write with any of The Doctors and his Companions!!!
I am also very interested in affiliating Iris with Jack's Torchwood (not the old Torchwood - I don't think Iris would have liked them very much). I foresee her parking her TARDIS/bus at the Cardiff Rift to refuel, and there, she can encounter the gang at the HUB, somehow...
Please - PM me if you'd like to sort something out! In the meantime, I'll be looking for threads to pop Iris into.

The Iris and the Rose: Iris sets her TARDIS on random, and it chooses to hop into a parallel universe's Earth, where she meets Rose Tyler right after the episode, Doomsday, which is before Meta came to be in existence.
Pitstop at Cardiff Rift: After that jaunt into Rose's parallel universe, Iris returns to her normal universe's Earth and stops off at Cardiff, to refuel her TARDIS with Rift energy. She encounters Ianto Jones and Cecilė from Lithuania's Torchwood branch at a local bar.
