Note; the reasoning behind this particular song is that Romana was a perfectionist during her days at the academy, and continued on to be head-strong, haughty, and a bit of a know-it-all. She seemed to have almost this sort of relationship with the Fourth Doctor.

WARNING; The video is somewhat inappropriate. It's not much of a big deal to us in Lithuania, but it's somewhat sexual.
The song is basically about how "deadly' nostalgia can be. How it is something that makes you jump right in, and that it's "murderous" although, time after time, you keep going on. Essentially, this is her view on the Torchwood units. It's something that you cannot simply return to a normal life after, it draws you in. It's a deadly game of chess, there is always a chance you'll have your king captured, and check mate will be reached.
