An Unearthly Enemy (First, Third, Seren, Sarah)

[Sarah Jane]

"Hello Doctor." She said, much amused as she let go of her own Doctor and went to go see what the Archivist was observing. The nasty bit of slime trail it seemed.

"Hello." She whispered, eyes twinkling impishly as the Doctor and the Doctor did a bit of high octane banter. Usually she would stand up for him . . ..but against who? They'd just have to work it out.

Secretly she was logically certain that her Doctor would be the most handy of the pair, and she was oddly proud of that.

[The First Doctor]

"I'm afraid, you're mistaken I am here on mission from The Time-Lords, the C-I-A, to be exact we have tracked a renegade here and Miss Sarah Jane Smith is helping me."

"Hello Doctor," said the dark-haired woman. He nodded to her, absently, while considering his older self's words, then watched as she walked over to help the Archivist with the examination.

"The Celestial Intervention Agency?" He was surprised, and - to tell the truth - a little impressed by the statement. He stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Now that you've said it, that does sound like an excellent career choice." He smiled, shrewdly. "I guess I'll have to look into it, once we get home."

"L-The Archivist, of course had to stay and attend the Archives of course."

"Of course," the Doctor agreed absently, watching the two women. There was something about the way he had said that, something that nagged at his mind...


"Now then Inspector Jones, right? Tell me the details of what happened, will you please?"

Inspector Jones looked from the young man in the antique suit to the older man in the flash outfit, blinking in surprise. "I'm... that is..." He forced himself to stop, and looked back at the younger Doctor. "What do you mean he's the Doctor I was expecting to meet?"

Both Doctors opened thier mouths to speak, nearly simultaneously, but the Inspector cut them off. "And... Time Lords? And you-" he jabbed an accusing finger at the older Doctor, "-The CIA's got no business getting involved in this! This is the United Kingdom!"
