Infinity was lost in space and forgotten. It was said if you find infinity any desire you want will be yours. It was discovered when a pirate was seeking to find it. The Doctor and Martha (cartoon) had met Infinity. It was set free because the pirate eventually gone crazy. A rift caught the Infinity and fell into Earth in London where it went into Luke Smith's body.
But as now Infinity is weak. So it using Luke Smith to hide and to gain strength. And this makes Luke Smith to lose his memory
