Canon/Original: Original
Name: Kassiendra du'Morrigu
Age: 4538
Species: Tuatha'De'Dannan/Unseeleigh
Planet of Origin: The Summerlands
Occupation: Warrior of the Crow, Bringer of the Frost
Physical Description:
Underneath her Glamor, she is a woman that tends to make people stop. Not because she is beautiful, maybe she is, but because she is not what you would typically expect. She is tall, taller then most men. Standing at nearly 6'6'', she is taller then even more male Fae. She is not as tall as Lugh, or any of the other fullblooded Tuatha De'Dannan, fullblooded meaning the 'gods' of the Tuatha De'Dannan. Her height is what gives her such an advantage in combat, a lot of the time.
She is not bulky, instead she is built like a feline. All compact muscles and deadly grace. Her arms are scarred and marred from combat, which is not something a typical fae would allow. But Kassiendra did, because of her mother. There is a reason she is called Du'Morrigu. She is of The Morrigan. The 'Goddess' of Death and Battle. The crow of war. The keeper of the souls of the damned Warriors. That duty is also one of Kassiendra's own.
She is not typical to most fae, in a fully human appearance. Oh yes, she is pretty. Probably could be prettier if she didn't always have such a blank look on her face. Features cut like another other high born fae. Her eyes are like obsidian, with flares of red throughout. Her hair is white, pure white, and curly. Which is not something typical to the Fae either. This curly hair falls down to her waist, when she lets it. Usually she keeps it tied back in a tight braid, wrapped in leather.
There is one facet that changes her from other Fae. Like her mother, she bears a mantle of Crow feathers. Kassiendra tends to keep this not as a cloak, but as wings themselves. Something about a tall woman, with wings dark as night, just scares people so much. She enjoys that fear, really she does.
Her clothing varies on the time she is in. But she usually wears leather, and carries a knife. That's without her Glamor. Now with her glamor, she's a foot shorter, wears plain clothing, and appears to have a gun holster.
Personality:
This woman is a bit high and mighty, not that it isn't deserved. Given her place in her mothers fold, and her fathers designs, she is a rather powerful individual. Her mother being The Morrigan, the Celtic and Tuatha'De'Dannan 'Goddess' of Death and Battle. Her father being the great Killing Frost. A fae of much heralds in the Fae courts. She has a bit of a place that many would not even wish to be in. That is why she acts like she's better then you. Not because of her blood, but because she fought tooth and nail for the esteem of both of her parents.
She is hot and cold, passionate and extremely void of all sensitivities. This is a dual nature she has lived with for a long time. The Courts call on her to kill, her mother calls on her to collect, while her father calls on her to help spread the touch of winter. She is in every sense of the word a tool, and the most precious gift her parents have ever had. She is the only child of the Killing Frost, and one of the few daughters of Morrigan. Because of this, people are afraid.
That fear, she feeds off of. Some have called her a Sociopath, some have called her a Psychopath. In reality, ages of pain and aches have turned her cold towards many things. Once she loved, but the Fae Prince turned her away. She cast herself to other endeavors, and allowed him to wallow in his own self created miseries. She grew and changed, and yet still she seeks to find happiness. TO find something that makes her feel the flow of creativity again. So very few fae can actually create. Though the Tuatha'De'Dannan purebloods can create just about anything. Kassiendra is very limited in the span of what she can and can't do.
She is a lover, and she is a fighter. Her dual nature will confuse many at first, but the side most see is the dangerous angel. The bringer of doom, the touch of winter itself. Perhaps someone out there can melt her, who knows. Likely thing is, that isn't going to happen. She needs another purpose, something full of life and vitality. Before the touch of Frost, and the Order of the Crow, devour her soul completely.
History:
A long time ago, Morrigan took a lover from the Queen of the Dark Court. This in turn caused many issues, but Morrigan was more powerful in comparison to the Queen. This lover was a Fae known as the Frost, the Killing Frost, to be exact. A Fae that had been stuck to the side of his queen, for longer then he could remember. Morrigan and Frost spent two hundred years together. Through courting, and fighting, and then the birth of their daughter.
Kassiendra du'Morrigu, the daughter of death and winter. It was a child made for the Dark Courts. A child that was raised to be a warrior, and a tool. Much of her history is fogged even to herself. She has forgotten much of it, in favor for the techniques she must learn to continue to survive. These techniques are all aligned with her mother and father. Their abilities, the ones that were passed on to her. She definitely feels the need to prove herself to just about anyone.
Also, she doesn't get along too terribly well with the Goblin King. Something bitter is in her past with him, and she won't whisper a word of it to anyone. She is very particular about this, and will go out of her way to spoil his plans. She sees it as her personal duty, to be a pest to him.
Revealed through roleplay:
When Kassiendra was a young fae, she was intended to marry another. She wanted to marry for love, and refused the union. She hasn't revealed who it was she was intended to marry, just someone powerful. She pursued her affections for the King - the King of the goblins and city she had come to love. He rearranged his Labyrinth for her. The tests were grueling, and really tested her, but she continued to push forward, using all of her abilities to try and complete the Labyrinth.
Near the end, something horrible happened. The firegang came upon her, they though it was all a game that she came apart like they did. Someone had given them Cold Iron, and they gutted her. Her mother retrieved her as she nearly died, as Cold Iron is one of the few things that Fae can be killed by. She got Iron Rot from it, and nearly died. It took her quite a long time to heal from it. Her bitterness is because she felt that he was responsible, and he never wanted her to finish the Labyrinth.
Additional Medical Information:
Her full capabilities are really unknown even to her. The touch of Cold Iron is not as deadly to her(and immunity built from surviving Iron Rot.), but the power of the light courts makes her rather ill. She has the ability to produce frost and snow wherever she is. Whether she produces it by using the own moisture of her body, or the inherent moisture in the air. She also has the ability to drain the energy of a person, or being, and transfer it to another. She can hold souls, and lead them on their way. Likely when she shows up, someone is going to die. Or, if you are the Goblin King, prepare for another session of pestering.
