She paused and thought for a few precious seconds before saying in a rather quick clipped pace. “Well, I think the first time was or will be sometime in the far future. That’s where I first met Bryan and Owen… and the daleks, but that has nothing to do with the actual meeting you. The crashing of my ship through the rift and be dragged back here by Bryan was. Owen was here then. Um, then I met Tosh. But that was in a different time. Honestly I’m not sure if I’ve met her yet, from her perspective. But I would guess not. After all, it seems that she would have mentioned something to you about chasing down aliens in Cardiff with me. I’ve never met the two of you before though,” she grinned.

The moment the girl started to ramble Jack began to smile. She remembered him of someone. Also misterious and very fast paced. It seemed there was a pause in her speech, or maybe she was done.
Either way Jack saw it as an oppertunity to speak. "Well then, welcome to Torchwood...I have a question"
There was just this..strange similliarity between this girl and his old friend. "Do you know the Doctor?"

Jenny looked him straight in the eye with a look of fierce pride on her face, as well as an overly large amount of happiness at the mere thought of the man she called father… even though technically he was also her mother; but being that he was a he, that made for complicated explaining.
“Oh, yes,” she said. “I know the Doctor,” Her smile brightened considerably. “and Donna, and Martha,” she paused as she realized that Martha and Donna still thought her dead. He smile faded at the thought that she would have to wait until the future so as not to cause a paradox. For all she knew, they hadn’t discovered her or went to her home planet yet.
She shook herself out of her mental reflection and said, “Yeah, he’s my dad.”

Jenny was talking a mile a minute. What she said Ianto wished he did not hear. Jenny was like a ball of happiness. She was a time traveler too. Was this going to lead to Captain John Hart and Jack’s time agency and his past adventures?
Well then, welcome to Torchwood...I have a question The eye candy looked over and up Jack. Do you know the Doctor? Jack asked. Ianto felt sick in the stomach and he was getting nervous. The Doctor left Jack and did not help Jack and he was still lingering about the Doctor. Who is Jack Harkness? Ianto was wondering about him and was now wondering if Jack was going to run off with Jenny to find the Doctor.
“Oh, yes,”she said.“I know the Doctor,”Her smile brightened considerably.“and Donna, and Martha, Interesting, the girl seem to know a Martha. Ianto wondered if that was the same Martha. And she was the Doctor’s daughter. Delightful.

"he's my dad" The very second those words left her mouth Jack's brows went up. Disbelief on his face before he leaned in to look her in the eyes. So that's where the similiarity came from. "He's a dad?"
The Doctor and settling down? The Doctor and a kid? Jack new living forever had it's after affects and strange ideas. But the Doctor just didn't seem to like settling. "Who managed to tie him down?"

"Lunch!" Rebbeca called out carrying a couple of pizza boxes into the Hub. She was about to hand one to Jack when she saw a blond girl standing there, "Oh...hello." After she set the boxes on a table, she looked at Jack and then the blond girl, "New recruit?" As she waited for an answer, Rebbeca felt something strangely familiar about the girl. Something about the way she carried herself, it reminded her of someone.

“Yes, he is…. technically, biologically, but,” the originals of her creation over the last year and a half had become something of a sore spot with Jenny. She couldn’t help but to regret that she wasn’t a true child of the Doctor and born into the world like normal sentient beings. With a mother and a father. But she was glad that she had her father, even if she barely ever saw him. “Well. It’s complicated. He didn’t tie anyone down, I don’t have a mother in the normal sense,” though she would have gladly given that title to Donna, “I am a biological artificially generated creation. My birth was a bit of an accident, I guess you could say.”
Jenny glanced as another individual that she didn’t recognize entered the HUB and gave them a smile, “Now there’s an idea, what do you say Captain Jack Harkness?” Jenny said turning her attention back to Jack, “Have room for a new recruit?” Jenny asked.

Walking in the hub, Owen saw Rebecca had food. “I miss food, I do…” he stopped, looking at the blonde. Looking at Jack, Owen was bothered with recruits. “New Recruits?” he was looking at Jenny up and down.
"Are you torturing me?" he said. It was bad he was a walking dead man. "Recruit ugly people so I don't suffer, okay?" he held his hands up. "You are gorgeous too..." he turned away and stormed up to his station glaring at Jack. He moved his lips, 'I hate you'

Room for new recruits? Jack would almost say yes without thinking. But eventhough this woman was someone who knew about the job. Who would be the perfect new recruit if it came down to knowledge. He couldn't say yes just yet.
The immortal flashed Owen a teasing grin, nearly yelling 'no you don't' after him. resisting the urge by looking back at Jenny. "Room for a new recruit? We can see how you do for a few weeks"
Of course, any friend of the Doctor was a friend of Jack. And she was welcome to stay. But he wasn't sure she would be actually willing to sign up for Torchwood.

"That...wasn't a question," Rebbeca muttered looking confused at the girl. She then snapped. She acted just like the doctor, [/b]"Are you related to the doctor?"[/b] As she waited for an answer, she took a piece of pizza from one of the boxes and took a bite. [/color]

“Great!” Jenny said knowing full well that her dad would probably think that it was anything but great. It would mean guns, and violence, and all those things that her father warned her about. But it was the kind of job that she could easily understand, and although she wasn’t sure if she could take a life, she felt that working for Torchwood could be something that she could do well… and what else was there for her to do on this planet?
“He’s my dad,” Jenny answered again, this time in reply to the strange woman. She had a feeling that it was going to get old saying those words, over and over with each new person she met, that knew the man. And with over 900 years on his shoulders, that could very well be a lot of people.

Observing, Ianto stood there being quiet. He was wondering how the girl have no mother. She was related to the Doctor and this gave Ianto a reason to distrust the girl. He was still trying to trust Rebecca.

"D-Does that mean you know where he is?" Rebbeca asked sounding hopeful. She truly wanted to see him again, it had been YEARS since she had seen the Doctor.

The girl sounded hopeful when she asked Jenny if she knew the location of her father. Unfortunately however, Jenny was pretty sure that no one in the universe could truly tack him down. She only bumped into him on occasion by accident. “No, sorry. I never know where his is… or looks like for that matter,” she said, a frown creeping onto her face.
How many times had the man changed his appearance she didn’t know, at least in her conscious minds. She had buried the memories that he had forcibly given her into the deep recesses of her subconscious. He had lived a frantic life full of death and sorrow and it was a life that she didn’t want to live herself, she wanted her own life. It wasn’t just the fact that he seemed to change his appearance either. It was as if he became an entirely new person. One that didn’t always know who she was either.
