Owen was the last one who left Torchwood and Ianto watched the man leave. It was easy for Owen to go and release his tension on one night stands, drinking and sleeping. Ianto found himself jealous of the MD because Owen had medical skills. It was amazing to see how Owen work over aliens and learn their biology.
The whole team was remarkable with their talents and here Ianto was a coffee boy, a butler and researcher. His skills could never meet their expectations or his father’s. Toshiko had her computer genius mind, Gwen her Police background and researching criminal. Jack Harkness and his immortality, the man will never die.
The mess of candy wrappers on the floor and on Owen’s desk made Ianto sick in his stomach. It was a job and it paid well. It was addicting to see aliens. These things he could never share with one soul. It was like he was caught in a cage.
They had Sarah Jane who was hanging out with Gwen Cooper. He was jealous of Gwen because she has a friend to talk too about aliens and rifts. Sarah Jane was nice and warm. Sarah seemed to have strong ties with Torchwood. Even Sarah Jane had skills that Ianto could compare. Jack seemed to adore her. Jack seemed to have a open for people.
Jack had allowed some kids in Torchwood. Did Jack ever consider Ianto had to clean after them? It was more work. It was hard for Ianto because there are more members. Everyone seemed to be happy with each other. Ianto would never trust them. Ever since Adam was in Torchwood, Ianto was more protective over Torchwood. Someone had to watch the team’s back.
Picking the wrappers and tossing the wrappers away, Owen seemed to have lost the etiquette to empty his trash. It took Ianto an hour took make the Hub look good.
Ianto saw someone walk in the Hub. He was watching them and gave them a small nod to show he was there them to see.

Once again Jenny found herself walking the streets of Cardiff, but thankfully it was not the result of crashing her ship down to Earth through the Rift or by accident. This time she was here on purpose, though she was unsure of the date and whether she had materialized in the right year or if it was after or before the Dalek invasion she helped stop. But here she was and really feeling as if she had nowhere else to go on this world. “And besides,” she thought, “they are my kind of people.” There were only a handful of Humans that she knew and besides Tess those humans all worked for a place called Torchwood.
The overhead clouds were growing dark as the planets sun slowly slipped from view. Night time fast approached and Jenny couldn’t help but to marvel that she was actually under a real sky. Real clouds, real sunlight refracting through the atmosphere, and surrounded by teeming alien life of all sorts. She had little problems with once again finding the back entrance to the HUB. She also had little problems with getting through the security that had been set up to keep humans out. But she figured that since she wasn’t human and they weren’t trying to keep the knowledge of aliens from her then it would be fine if she got through. After all, what were they going to do, try and keep the knowledge of an alien away from an alien?
She finally made her way to the generously large round door that kept Torchwood and the HUB away from humanities prying eyes and opened it, stepped through, and glanced around as the door slid shut. At first she thought that she was alone. There was no sign of Owen, Tosh, or even that Bryan kid that she had met before. The place she also noted looked a lot cleaner then the last time she had been here. Then she noticed him. A man she had never met before. She grinned at him brightly and made her way towards him. He seemed to have been interrupted in the pursuit of cleaning rubbish that was scattered about and she wondered where he had been before.
She wondered briefly if this was Captain Jack, the man that ran Torchwood. Personally she didn’t think he looked like much of a leader but she decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. “Hello!” She said stopping before the man in the suit and looking at him in curiosity.

The girl was all whitey pearls. She looked no older than seventeen years old. If he was younger he would find her attractive. She was a kid to him. But, he was attracted to Jack only. He never saw any file on her. She was all happy. “Hello,” he said. She wasn’t the pizza girl because she had no pizza. Standing tall, being business like, he nodded to her. “May I help you?” He was trained unarmed combat and he could defend Torchwood with his unarmed skill. He might be able to escort her out of Torchwood. She might not see nothing and say nothing.

He seemed all business like and this thought was confirmed when he spoke. But Jenny paid it little mind. Most people around her seemed to be entirely too serious for their own good. This included when it wasn’t really warranted. “Oh, not really, just in the neighborhood, thought I would drop in and say hello. Maybe see what was happening, Owen or Tosh around? You’re not the infamous Jack I’ve heard about are you?” She said, thought she really, really didn’t think he looked like a Jack.

“No, I am not Jack Harkness. I am Ianto Jones,” he replied and he would not want to be him either. He loved and respected the man. “Owen and Toshiko are off,” he replied. He was not telling the whole truth. He was not sure who the girl was. She seemed to know all lot about them. He knew she did not know who he was. She only knew his name.
“So, I need to ask you to leave.” It was not the best thing to do to a visitor at the HUB. But it was the only option Ianto had. Quicker he can get her out, less he had to worry. “Who should I say dropped by?”

Jack hadn't been running around the hub like usual, he had been working in the far away corners of the complex. Figuring out where to put his new set of files because of the lack of space in his office.
He needed to get rid of old files. And this far away corner was not the place. So instead of dropping the stack of files there he let out a sigh and returned to his office.
Looking down through the glass wall and spotting one of his favorite human beings. A quiet smile on his face as he laid down the papers and watched Ianto clean the hub. The man looking pretty grumpy as he cleaned up Owen's spot.
Just when he was about to go down and cheer him up a little the door opened and some pretty blond marched in. Something oddly familiar about her.
Instead of intterupting he simply observed the pair.

The name he gave sound slightly familiar and then it dawned on her. Tosh had mentioned him in passing. But when she had first arrived on Earth, when she had discovered Torchwood and Owen they had all been dead for some time, including Owen. Though, he was a well animated walking dead man. She was in the past; probably a long way in the past, which meant that with the exception of Tosh she would be a stranger here. Even Tosh hadn’t known the truth about her. It explained why the place looked so much cleaner than her other visits. It was times like these that she wondered how her dad did it without losing his mind. She hoped that it would get easier in time, telling which time period she was in without making so many mistakes.
Jenny felt a slight pang of pity for the man., but he was alive now and that is what mattered. But she wasn’t about to spoil the future with her knowledge. She had a feeling that her father would have a big time fit over that if she did. A spark of mischief played out through her mind suddenly. The man probably didn’t trust her, and whey should he. After all she was a complete and utter stranger and she had just by passed their security and walked on in. She had no intention of leaving however. “Nice to meet Ianto Jones, I’m Jenny! You need me to leave, huh? Getting ready to track down an almost unstoppable alien invasion? Monsters? Rift activity? Or is that where everyone is off to?” She asked in an almost impossibly fast voice that seemed completely full of inquisitive curiosity.

The little blonde knew what Torchwood was and Jack. It added trouble to Ianto. Looking calm, he held his professionalism. I can’t have her leave. She knows all lot. Who is she really?
Hi Jenny, Ianto replied. The Welshman hated to be left alone with the unknown lady. He needed to do something about her. He wasn't sure. I do need you too--- the Coffee boy looked up and he was praising MyFanwy for the her good time. Smiling, he looked down at Jenny. He was hoping that she would faint or scream or freak out. Myfanwy was flying around the hub, but, she was hungry and Ianto had to feed her.

Ianto looked up and out of reflex Jenny looked up as well. It was the giant flying reptile and it didn’t look completely happy either. ”Must be feeding time,” Jenny said gazing up at it and marveling at just how fantastic it was to see a living creature that was THAT big.
“That thing is just so bloody brilliant,” Jenny said calmly. Keeping her eyes fixed on it just in case it decided that she would make a tasty, readily available snack. “You were saying Mr. Jones… you need me to…?” She kind of liked the name. It reminded her of Martha, though she hadn’t spent much time with her, moments only really. But that had been an exciting day.
The flying creature took a small swooping dive over their heads and Jenny continued to keep her eyes upon it.

Jenny was calm and she did not flinch. The Welsh man was not sure what to think. She was calm. Was she from this world? Where did she come from? She was someone, but who was she?
Ianto wanted to protect Torchwood. She was making his task hard. If Ianto was failing Myfanwy was the back up. The Welsh man was calm as he casted his blue eyes on her.
“You were saying Mr. Jones… you need me to…?”
I was saying Myfanwy need to be fed, he said. Moving to her as the dinosaur took another nose dive. This way quick, he tried to usher her to his coffee station where Myfanwy was unable to get into. She could shove her beak, but, she never gone to that measure.
Stay here, he ordered her. He quickly opened ice box where he stashed meat for these moments. He grabbed the barbeque sauce for the smell to attract Myfanwy. He squeezed all lot on it. He took the meat and tied to a piece of rope. He moved out to the open area. Lassoing the meat around his head, a trick he picked up as the team was away. He discovered this secret to feed Myfanwy. He let the meat soar up and the Dinosaur dived and caught it. She flew away satisfied of her catch.
She took it to her nest, he said, calmly as he looked at her.

It was never boring to watch his team use new tricks both in battle and speach. And seeing the tensed shoulders of his colleague was simply brilliant. Ianto had to be think he was the only one present in the Hub. Which was rather amusing.
But Jack wouldn't leave him alone for long.
A amused grin on his face as he opened the door to his office. The large reptile soaring past as she took her food to her nest. "You're a man of many talents Jones" Jack flashed him a smile as he casually walked down the stairs. His blue eyes on Ianto before glanced at the stranger.
"Who's your friend?" He gave the woman a smile as well. He didn't know how she found her way in. But she hadn't started shooting yet so he wouldn't either.

You're a man of many talents Jones The immortal man was in the hub all this time and Ianto thought he was alone. The Welsh man wondered how long was Jack watching. Oh, well, least Jack was aware of the situation now.
Its all due to mystery, he was flirting and toying with Jack.
Who's your friend? Ianto set his attention on Jenny. Ianto nodded to Jenny to signal her to introduce herself. As Jenny was chatting to Jack, Ianto was listening as he was wrapping the rope in a neat coil. He placed the rope back the spot where he stored it. He moved back to his location.

Despite the fact that Jenny didn’t want to leave the reptilian creature she let herself be ushered away. She let out a slight sigh when he told her to stay put. She wasn’t one for standing still. But she watched with interest as he got the meat from a large box and covered it in some sort of liquid. Jenny thought the feeding method for this creature was odd to say the least.
At the sounds of yet another voice in the HUB jenny turned. Once again it was an unfamiliar face and an unfamiliar voice. She looked at the newcomer in interest. If she had to make a guess then she would have to say that this man looked more like a Jack. Her eyes locked onto his and she could almost see the age of those eyes. Yes, she thought. This was him. Jenny smiled brightly at the man, “Hello! I’m Jenny.” She said. “You must be Captain Jack.” She could of course of found out the answer for sure, but diving into her dad’s memories was not something she wanted to do. It was as if he had downloaded a giant spoiler right into her head and she really didn’t like it. It was far better to keep all that locked behind mental barriers.

There were times and places for the thoughts that crossed his mind as Ianto spoke. That flirty smile on the man his face almost had him crossing several social lines. This was not the time.
Jack simply flashed Ianto a smile before looking back at the blond woman. "Captain Jack Harkness" he repeated his name, a coy smirk on his face as he walked up to her.
Unlike usually not in his navy blue coat "Nice to meet you Jenny, I have to ask though...from which moment in time do we begin to know you?" This could have been the first time he had met her, but that didn't mean it was the first time she had met him.
Why did he think she was a time traveler? Simply because she knew how to get into Torchwood without getting shot.

Going to be quiet as a mouse, Ianto has no other actions but observe. So pass the Welshman.
