kidnapping the King (Jack, River)

Izzy turned to River, "This is gonna be fun." he said smiling a wicked grin.

the plan was simple. sneak aboard the plane to Germany that Clark Gable was flying in. hijack it, then after they land in Nazi Germany turn him over to Hitler and collect the reward.

He had met Clark before back in the early thirties when he was working in Hollywood and dating James whale. and then again on the set of gone with the wind. he knew how Hollywood worked and was able to talk his way onto the base.

he stepped up to the main gate with River.

"Hello My name is Izzy Smith I'm Mr. Gable's military Liaison. this is my associate Mrs. Winterborn."

"Military liason?"

"Yes, Mr. Gable may be in the service but he is still under contract to MGM. can you please direct us to the generals office?"

[River Song]

River could hardly believe she was going to find herself face to face with Hitler... Again. Maybe this time she really would kill him - but, not until after they had been paid the reward money, of course.

She looked back at the eager, young Izzy and grinned in return. She shook her head, though, and asked, "Why did I let you talk me into this, again?"

Well, perhaps it was because she thought they might draw the attention of The Doctor... Or, maybe it was simply the allure of adventure (it DID get awfully boring in her cell in Stormcage...)

Not to mention that she would have an opportunity to not only pinch the bum of Clark Gable, but River would also get a second chance at killing Hitler - a classic double-cross!

Besides... Hitler had shot her first, triggering her last regeneration. She owed him one...

Izzy talked their way onto the base - River hadn't even had to use her feminine wiles, though she did give the guard a sexy wink when she was introduced as Mrs. Winterborn.

"oh what are you complaining about. You know you want to pinch his tush just as much as I do. and from what i hear its a pretty nice tush..." said Izzy teasingly.

Izzy made his way inside the generals office flashing the psychic paper once again. "You see General were were assigned by the studio and the united states government to accompany Mr. gable on his mission to Germany"

"Well, if you insist let me call him." said the gneral.

moments later Clark gable himself came in threw the door. Izzy tried his best to to scream like a giddy school girl when he saw him and all his handsomeness.

"captian Clark Gable reporting sir."

"Mr. Gable this is agent Smith and agent Song. there with the untied states government."

"Mr. Gable its nice to see you again."

"Have we met?"

"No but were going to... Agent Izzy Smith."

[River Song]

Wow, was Clark Gable a hottie - even better in person than in his photographs, or on film. It was enough to take a girl's breath away.

At least, for a moment.

Now that they were face to face with their target, Izzy saw it fit to reveal who they were without keeping up the aliases that had been fed to the guard just a few moments earlier. River was relieved about this, though - a charade was hard to keep up for too long.

"And I'm Agent River Song - you won't have heard of us, I'm afraid," she sassily asserted with a playful wink. "My associate and I are here to escort you to Germany safe and sound - you have MGM and Hollywood to thank for that."

River had gotten so very good at lying...

"I should have known the studio would send some babysitters to look after me. well come on them were taking off in an hour to drop some bombs on Berlin." said Clark not very happy that River and Izzy were here.

Izzy fallowed close behind and turned to River and whispered. "Bet you half my share i can get him to kiss me first." said Izzy jokingly

Clark led them to the barriks where the rest of the men for the mission were. as they made there way past all the men in uniform Izzy was unaware of who he would run into...

[River Song]

River smirked and whispered back in reply, "You tart!" Though, she meant it in a friendly way and not as an insult - Izzy would see that in her eyes (not to mention the smirk). "You're on," River added softly, offering her younger male counterpart a saucy wink.

Then, River jogged to catch up with the delectable Mr. Gable, meeting up with him when he entered the barracks.

She was surrounded by men in uniform. SURROUNDED.

It was quite lovely, actually. It was just too bad that The Doctor weren't here...

Then again, he'd never willingly participate in such a dark scheme, and he wouldn't approve of River's actions - unless of course they turned around and rescued Clark Gable from Hitler with a bold double-cross...

Of course, The Doctor wouldn't approve of shooting Hitler, either. Oh, well... C'est la vie.

"Were taking off in one hour over German Territory men!" said Gable giving a speech. "Were gonna drop some bombs on these Jerrys and then fly home. however accompanying us will be Agent Smith and Agent Song."

"Yes boy's don't mind us were just going along to make sure Clark Doesn't Mess up that pretty face of his.So please Just go about your normal routine like were not even here." Said Izzy.

He then made his way over to Clark and said, "You know you and I met once briefly, it was on the set of gone with the wind. I heard about Carol Lombard. I remember because someone I cared about died in a plane crash around the same time." Said Izzy. he knew that was why Clark Joined the Army. Because he had lost his wife in a plane crash.

"Yea, who..." said Clark sounding Rather annoyed.

"The duke of Kent...." said Izzy

"The duke of Kent!" said Clark Sounding suprised.

"Yea, I was serving Under Price George in the RAF before i got this mission. we were really close, kinda like you and Carol. SO I know what its like to lose someone you care about in a plane crash. it hurts and you wonder why someone you've love has been taken from you."

"Yea, it dose hurt." said Clark trying not to to show how much he really was hurt. But that was Clark he was one of the old fashion types who thought talking about his feelings was girly.

[Jack Harkness]

Captain Jack Harkness, he would never stop liking the sound of that.
A smug grin was plastered on his face as he sat along side the men of the army. The navy blue coat snug around his shoulders as he laid down another perfect set of cards.
It seemed the fun was over quite fast though.

One of the officials coming in followed by someone very very familliar.

Jack stayed fairly out of sight behind the line of men, his blue eyes amused as he watched his time traveling friend lie his way into the mission.
Not that he cared, Jack wasn't the most honest man in the room either.

His eyes soon fell on the beautiful looking woman, who was she?
And why were she and Izzy working together?
"Good to have two agents on the mission isn't it sir?" Jack raised his voice before stepping into view.
His eyes glowing with the knowledge of who this agent 'Smith' was.

He slipped his hands into his pockets and casually stood at their presence. Clearly giving off a high ranked energy.
Captain Jack Harkness wasn't there for fun, he was there for a reason.

Izzy's eyes winded to see Jack. he tried not to let it register on an emotional scale. he played it cool standing to attention shaking Jack's hand. For this Izzy he hadent done any of the things Jack had by this time. "Hello Captian Harkness," Said Izzy rather cold. "Its nice to see you again."

Last time Izzy Had seen Jack was in the 70's with that silly mustache. he always seemed to know where he was. fallowing him across time and space. like some sort of stalker.

for Jack the last time he saw Izzy was fighting "the wire" during shooting of Casablanca. Not this Izzy, this Izzy was a stranger the last time He had seen Izzy, Izzy told him to come here. but that he musn't give up on him. becuase hes was going to be quite difficult. and that he was going threw a phase where he was a bit of a brat. and that I'm sorry in advance.

"you Two know each other?" asked Gable.

"Weve, met." said Izzy taking Jack aside, "What the bloody hell are you doing here?"

The hub was empty, once again, Gwen working a long shift. It was simply business as usual, or so she thought. The only sound on this lonely, quiet night was the occasional drip of a water droplet, or a mouse scurrying across a metal floor. Suddenly, an alarm went off. The hub was flooded in red light. It felt like a massive seismic event, and the hub was reacting accordingly. All of the doors went on lock down, trapping her in the large room. The water from the water tower was tossing around, causing sparking from the electronics. The rift manipulator was furiously pumping up and down.

Gwen reached for her phone. Holding down one for speed dial, she attempted to ring Jack. A dial tone. She tried again, with number two for Sarah Jane. Dial tone. Again, with three, for Rhys. Dial tone. Before she could try four, a growling, bellowing laugh poured out of her phone. Then, in an instant, she was falling. Falling through fire, and ice, and wind and nothing, and then she landed.

There were planes and hangars all around her, and above the airbase was a blue sky. It was rather hot though. Suddenly, she heard shouting behind her. "Hey! You! Stop!" Gwen whipped around to see two armed guards running towards her. "Always with the armed guards..." Gwen took off running, and seeing a plane that was warming up, figured it was better than nothing and made it her goal.

The guards gave Gwen good chase but they managed to catch her in the end. they took her to the office in handcuffs. Izzy could hear her shouting from where he and Jack stood in the Barriks. He would know that angry welsh voice anywhere.

He listened to what Jack was saying and the said. "Whatever, will finish talking later." He then Ran after the Guards who had gotten a hold of Gewn.

"Excuse me." Izzy said running up to them flashing his psychic paper. "Agent Smith, This women is my social secretary. Gwen Cooper. see agent smith plus one! shes my pulse one."

He waited until they relased gwen to talk to her alone. "Hello Grrr..." he almost said Gran, he had to be more carful "Gwen, I don't know if we have met Yet but you see Jack is here. he hasen't met you yet. I thought you would like to know that before you ask me anything else."

Gwen was livid. She had been flung back in time, was completely confused, and the only two people that could be helpful in the past were Jack, who apparently didn't know her yet, and Sarah Jane, who, if Gwen knew her history right, wouldn't be even conceived at this point in time. So, as Gwen had no other outlet, she naturally took her anger out on the closest person to her.

"Izzy Smith!" Gwen whispered so the only sound the guards near them would hear would be a series of flurried S's. "I want to know exactly what is going on, and I want to know now! Because I will not have all of this time travelling business today! I have been working three shifts, I am planning a wedding, and if I'm not mistaken, I'm supposed to have dinner with my fiance in 65 years and two hours!" Gwen finished her tirade and huffed. "So you find out how I get home right now, because I will not have it!"

Izzy heard what she said remaining stoic and unaffected. he had grown up listening to her short fused temper and knew how to handle himself.

"Thank you Sargent I'll escort her from here." Said Izzy leading Gwen away so he could speak to her more Private.

"Gwen I have no idea why your here but I will personally take you home with my vortex manipulator later. I have a mission to go on first with Jack and Agent Song. we have to escort someone across German lines."

Izzy knew that she would most likely want to know who was so important that she had to be put second Izzy just smiled wickedly and said. "You ever see gone with the wind?"

With that Said he took her threw the doors to the barriks where Jack stood Next the non-Other than Clark Gable himself. the King of Hollywood....

[Gwen Elizabeth Cooper]

Gwen looked forward as the door barracks were opened, and for a moment looked impressed. She quickly shook it off. Through gritted teeth, she quietly raged at Izzy again. "So basically you're telling me that before I get home I'm going to have to cross enemy lines into Germany at the height of World War II with three time travelers and Clark Gable?" She sighed and began walking forward into the barracks.

Standing in front of Jack and Clark Gable and the rest of the people, Gwen put on her best fake English accent, creating a clever disguise. "Hello I'm Yvonne Pallister, Wing Commander of the Royal Air Force. Now where is our plane?"

"Who's the skirt Agent Smith, Don't tell me a dog gone girl's gonna co-pilot this plane?" said Gable. figures that he would be one of those sort's who thought a women's place was in the home. "I' don like this mission Harkness. all we have with us is two skirts and a sissy."

"Oh my god, your such an american." said Izzy rolling his eye's at Clark. Izzy didn't know what it was about the handsome star he didn't know weather he wanted to hit him or kiss him.

Izzy then wen't over to River where no one could hear them. "That women is my grandmother. I need you to make sure she doesn't die so i don't fade out of Resistance." Izzy said being Serious. "Something funny is going on. two people out of my past have showed up. I think someone is on to us. So just play it cool for now. If we can get Gable on the plane will take care of Jack and Yvonne later."



The plane was a B-17 flying fortress. quite large in size but big enough to carry all five of them. Two at the cock pit and three in the back. Izzy thought that he could push Jack out of the back. he would survive the fall but he would still have to catch up with the plane while fighting his way past the third rich. River could merely pull a gun on Gwen and make her sit in the cockpit.
