Canon/Original: The 10th Doctor's Understudy & (Meta-Crisis Doctor)
Name: The Doctor (John Smith)
Age: 900 (1yr.)
Species: Time Lord (Meta Crisis Human/Time Lord hybrid)
Planet of Origin: Gallifrey (The TARDIS)
Occupation: Time Lord, Time Traveler, Saver and Destroyer of Worlds, Hero, Lonely Angel, and Maintenance Man of the Universe. (AU Torchwood and Adventurer.)
Physical Description:
The Tenth Doctor has brown hair that sticks up all over the place, a cheery grin and eyes that can show you his pain just by looking at them. He normally sports both a brown or blue suit and converse trainers. The Meta Crisis is identical in every way.
Personality:
The Tenth Doctor generally displays a light-hearted, easy-going, witty and somewhat cheeky manner, but combines this with a somewhat egocentric sense of unstoppableness when facing his enemies. He is perhaps as ruthless and dangerous as his seventh incarnation ever was, although much less inclined to (or capable of) complex schemes. This emerged early on when he sent the Sycorax leader (who was attacking him from behind) tumbling to his death while commenting that, with him, there were "no second chances." He acknowledges that he is less merciful than he used to be and has stuck to his "one warning" code, punishing his enemies if they persist in their hostilities. His strong personal sense of justice makes him quick to anger when he feels it is violated.
The Tenth Doctor sometimes uses a cheerful, energetic façade to mask inner emotions resulting from survivors guilt. He has a tendency to babble, mixing apparent nonsense with vital information, sometimes acting erratically to put his enemies off guard like some of his earlier incarnations. He can also be rude on occasion, and is not always aware of it. He has a tendency to use technobabble to describe scientific concepts before substituting it with a simpler, analogous explanation. He is also able to rapidly switch between moods, from mania to anger to nonchalance and has used this as a form of reverse psychology on several occasions . The Doctor displayeds a confident, self-assured side, but will not hesitate to taunt.
It has been made clear that the Doctor is, despite constant interaction with others, a lonely person deep down. The Tenth Doctor and his long list of companions have often faced their adventures with a cheerful, almost blasé attitude, even when terror and death happened around them. The Doctor is an almost hopeless romantic.
The personality for the Meta Crisis Doctor is much like that of the tenth incarnation that he resembles. However he has a darker side that mirrors that of the Ninth Doctor, before Rose made him better.
History:
After changing into his 10th incarnation, The Doctor traveled through time and space to London with a rather confused and pessimistic Rose Tyler. Falling into a helpless state of unconsciousness as his body healed from his newly regenerated form he was unable to do much good until, finally he smelled the aroma of a nice cup of tea. It was just what the Doctor needed, a good cup of tea. On Christmas day the Doctor lost his hand in a sword fight with the Sycorax leader who was trying to use blood control to enslave part of the human race. The hand however grew back and in its place he recieved a fightin' hand. After he defeated the Sycorax leader, Harriet Jones had the aliens ship destroyed despite the fact that they were leaving in defeat. So the Doctor told The Prime Minister, one Harriet Jones that he could bring her down with only six words, and then in a low voice that only her assistant could hear said, “Don’t You Think She Looks Tired .” He enjoyed a Christmas with Rose, Jackie and Mickey in London before leaving with Rose for New Earth.
On New Earth the Doctor took Rose to visit the face of Boe during what appeared to be his last moments of life. There he soon discovered that Lady Cassandra, was once again up to no good as she tried to leave her sheet of skin, having a reversion to death, to take up residence within Rose’s body. The Doctor also found out that the Cat Nuns of New Earth were growing humans to use as storage facilities for the diseases of the human race. After freeing the evolved new human race from the New Earth Hospitals, Lady Cassandra’s final moments are marked as she lives out those remaining moments in the body of her servant Chip. The Doctor takes Lady Cassandra to see herself in the past one last time before she dies, unknowingly to her past self, in her own arms.
The Doctor and Rose then traveled to 1879, Scotland where they met Queen Victoria and stopped a werewolf and a fellowship of monks from infecting her. Both Rose and the Doctor were knighted and then banished from the British Empire. This is where the Torchwood Institute was born. They then returned to the 21st century to stop the plots of the Krillitane race. Here he had a reunion with Sarah-Jane Smith and K-9. After the defeat of the alien threat the Doctor let Mickey Smith travel with him and Rose in the TARDIS. They traveled to a 51st century spaceship containing a portal to 18th century France and Jeanne-Antionette Poisson, who was under threat by the Clockwork Droids of the 51st century ship. After the defeat of the droids the Doctor left for only moments through the portal but by the time he had returned Jeanne was dead.
After leaving the 51st century ship with a heavy heart the Doctor and companions found themselves on parallel Earth. There they met Rose’s father, Mickey’s grandmother, and the birth of the Cybermen. Mickey stayed in the parallel world with his grandmother instead of leaving with the Doctor and Rose. The Doctor and Rose then found themselves in the 1950’s. Rose became captive of a creature called the wire during a royal coronation. But of course the Doctor defeated the wire and returned Rose and the wires other victims back to normal. They then traveled to the planet Krop Tor and confronted and defeated the Beast. They then encountered the Hoix, a lone Isolus in possession of a child, and then finally, once again the Cybermen. The Cybermen were defeated but at the cost of Rose being un-wantingly trapped in the parallel world with her mother, her parallel father, and Mickey.
The Doctor then encountered Donna Noble in a wedding dress on his TARDIS. This was due to the involvement of a Racnoss queen who was plotting to free her children on Earth. The Doctor defeated the Racnoss and offered Donna the opportunity to travel with him. She turned him down. He then met Martha Jones, a medical student. They defeated a Plasmavore and the Doctor offered her to travel with him in his TARDIS. She accepted and they set off to see Shakespeare.

They defeated a Plasmavore and the Doctor offered her to travel with him in his TARDIS. She accepted and they set off to see Shakespeare. After the defeat of some rather un-agreeable Carrionites they landed on New Earth once again. This time the Face of Boe gave the Doctor some parting words before his death, “You are not alone”. The Doctor then defeated the cult of Skaro, a crazed professor Lazarus, and ended up defeating the Family of Blood.
The Doctor and Martha then got transported to the past without his TARDIS due to the Weeping Angels. They were rescued by a photographer named Sally Sparrow, who with the help of Nightingale sent the time machine back o the Doctor trapped in 1969. After refueling the TARDIS in Cardiff the Doctor was once again reunited with Captain Jack Harkness. They traveled into the future where almost everything was dead. There they met Yana, a professor who ended up being The Master, the Doctors arch enemy and childhood friend. The Master stole the Doctors TARDIS and turned it into a Paradox Machine. The Doctor used Captain Jack’s time traveling device to get them to the same time period and place as the Master. Who had become Prime Minister in their absence. The Master was defeated and killed by Lucy, the Master’s human wife. Martha decided not to continue traveling with the Doctor and stayed behind.
Setting off alone the Doctor’s TARDIS and one of it’s previous selves merged; uniting the Tenth Doctor with the Fifth Doctor. After the TARDIS’s separated and went their own ways the Titanic, a futuristic space craft that resembled and was named after the famous sea liner crashed through the TARDIS’s downed defenses. There the Doctor met Astrid Peth, who ended up being turned to star dust. After the Doctor left the Titanic after he stopped a plot to crash it into Earth. He also was introduced for a moment to Donna Nobles grandfather.
Shortly after the incident with the Titanic, the Doctor was reunited with Donna and they set off on their adventures. The defeat of the Adipose Industries, the destruction of the Pyroviles, the destruction of Pompeii, a brief reunion with Martha Jones, the Sontarans and ATMOS, the creation of Jenny- the Doctors biological daughter, murders and Agatha Christie, the Library, the introduction of River Song, the Data Ghosts, the planet Midnight, and finally the reunion of the Doctor and Rose as well as the creation of the Meta Crisis that caused Donna to have to be parted from her memories to save her life. In the end Rose was sent back to her new parallel world with the Meta Crisis Doctor where he was to live a single human life.
(I'm stopping at the end of season four because that is what the original Tenth has done. ^_^)

A hand reached out and adjusted a lever, Then with out hesitation spun what looked like
a giant marble embedded within a giant metal base. The man was staring at a screen
with intense interest. “Where to next?” he muttered to himself. The man… who everyone
called just The Doctor, was traveling through time and space. If he would have been
wearing his colorful red and blue glasses, that which most people would have called 3-D
glasses, but for which he had another use. He would have seen the glowing partials that
surrounded him and everything within his home. The Tardis, the only real place he had, that
he could call home. And quite frankly the only thing he had, except his screwdriver.
Of course being The Doctor, it was no ordinary screwdriver, and frankly it didn’t really look
like a screwdriver. More like a laser light with many buttons and a weird sonic sound it
emitted when in use. Sonic was a good name for the sound, being that it was called a Sonic
Screwdriver. A light flashed red above his head and a sound echoed through out the room.
He paused and glanced at another screen, a screen with a glowing red dot. A dot that
appeared to be moving at a high velocity of speed. Some dots were good, and some dots
were bad, and sometimes dots… were just dots. The Doctor, who thought dots were
fascinating, continued watching its progress a crossed the screen. ‘Oh a bad dot,’ The
Doctor thought as the dot headed for another dot. Being a bright blue dot, The Doctor
frowned slightly. And the reason he frowned slightly was because the blue dot was The
Tardis, and if the blue dot was The Tardis and the red dot was headed for it. Then that
meant that the red dot was probably going to crash into his precious blue dot and that
would be very inconvenient.
Quickly The Doctor, turned a knob and flipped a switch, maybe they did something and
maybe they didn‘t. But knobs and switches are funny that way and it was extremely and
more then probable that he just liked turning and flipping things. He then proceeded to
run to the other side of the control panel and hit something with what looked like a mallet.
Mallets are interesting items, that can also be painful when accidentally dropped on ones
foot. Which unfortunately he proceeded to do, instead of accomplishing what he set
out to do. Unfortunately it is not known what that may have been, since he failed
to accomplish it. Maybe because he was just a little to clumsy, or maybe it was his
sweaty hands. Being that sweaty hands make things slippery, and it could very
well be that, the mallet couldn’t handle being in his sweaty hands. But in any case the
red dot was speeding right for him, and his blue dot.
