Nicholas's foot twitched nervously as he scanned the area for his lamp.
Where is it? he thought to himself.
I don't know, you lost it! Himself reminded him sharply.
The Djinn's home had taken the form of a backpack, and he had lost it yet again. He dreaded losing it, but thinking about that only made him lose it more, it seemed...
His least favorite thing about about being a Djinn wasn't actually eternal servitude, but how he had to watch as people misused it. He flinched every time he met his new master, picturing what they could do with power over wishes.
It could be anywhere, and he wouldn't know until it was found, or, (and he tried not to think about this) was destroyed.
"I really hate Cardiff." he said.

Raya ran through the busy street, grinning as the cars honked at her to move out of their way. She responded by sticking her tongue out at them and continuing onwards.
After all she didn't want to be anywhere near the public mall. At least not after what she rigged up throughout every floor, corner, and store. Soon everyone inside would get covered in superglue and then showered with feathers.
"Big birdies with no brains. Ha!" Raya laughed as she pictured the hundreds of people running around looking like badly plucked poultry.
As she ran around a street corner, something caught her catlike eyes. "Hello. What is this?"
Raya walked over to said item, only to realize it was a backpack. She picked it up, and examined it vaguely as a Cheshire grin formed upon her face. Looking up to the sky as if praising some sort of deity, she held the object close to her. Her mind was spinning with all the things she could carry, all the explosives, all the materials, all the... Sushi!
Her ears perked when she thought she heard the explosion. She bolted as she put the backpack on, not wanting to be there when the coppers showed up. Or worse UNIT, bloody 'ell those guys were annoying.
It didn't take her long to her little hideout, right outside Cardiff, in a underground bomb shelter, that was abandoned long ago. Raya placed the backpack on her table and sat down on the lawn chair she found only a week back. She smiled as she thought about what she was going to do next.

Nicholas shut his eyes tightly, not really wanting to be summoned. It hurt so much...
The next thing he knew he was standing upright in a bomb shelter, both hands straight at his sides. He took a bow to his new master in that stance, in a genie sort of way. "I am a Djinn, and you are my master." he said, the nervousness he felt not at all evident in his voice. Maybe, just maybe, it was visible in those strange orange eyes of his... Either way, he looked straight forward to the face of the woman he would serve until death.
"I will grant any wish you may have, until you or I die. Or you wish me away in displeasure..." his voice trailed off.
"You can call me anything you wish," he unintentionally punned, "What am I to call you?" He asked. Nicholas's form flickered, changing first to a zebra, then a dog, then finally back to his regular form. "I can transform into anything you want me to be."
Sunder restrained from looking around. Who lived in a bomb shelter? Evidently, his master was a government conspiracist, a run away, or was just fond of bomb shelters. He visibly flinched at the thoughts of this woman wishing anything she wanted to happen. If only he could run.

She couldn't believe her eyes. A man appeared out of nowhere, inside her inner sanctum that was the bomb shelter. That wasn't suppose to happen, was it? No, no, it wasn't.
Raya rubbed her eyes, almost like a small child does when they just wake up from a nap. Then proceeded to blink several times, just to be sure she wasn't imagining this. Okay so she wasn't crazy, there actually was a strange man in her home, and he was bowing to her.
"I am a Djinn, and you are my master." The magic man told her as he looked straight at her.
The back part of Raya's mind was practically begging her to comment on the 'you are my master.' bit. Luckily that little voice was immediately shut down for the time being as this Djinn person continued talking.
"I will grant you any wish you may have, until you or I die. Or you wish me away in displeasure..." His voiced seemed to trailed off.
Raya had no idea what was going on, even though it was clearly spelled out for her. She was actually beginning to think this was some sort of joke. What was a Djinn anyway?
"You can call me anything you wish,"
She started to get a humored grin on her face when he said that, but decided to let him continue.
"What am I to call you?" He asked, and she was ready to answer him, until. That is, he changed forms.
First form she saw was a small horse with strips, she knew that was some animal from another country. A Zebra, maybe... or it could have been Prancer. Raya made a mental note to look that up.
Then he just had to transform into it. He just had to turn into a bloody canine. Those things were so dang relentless, and loud. Very Very loud.
She jumped back behind her chair, resisting the urge to hiss. Raya didn't really care for those creatures that howled, and barked, and whined, and begged, and chase her up trees.
Finally he changed back into his original form; which Raya was extremely grateful for. "I can transform into anything you want me to be."
"I prefer cats, but this form ain't to bad." Raya said with a wink, then continued. "Not that I'm not enjoying this, but am I being punked? Did that Kutcher guy come over to Britain or something? ... Is this actually for real, I'm not... like.. going clinically insane am I?"
Realizing she didn't answer his question about her name, she quickly added. "Oh, call me Raya. What do you call yourself?"

The woman jumped behind her chair when he changed into a dog, so he quickly reverted to his human form, looking at his feet and rubbing his arm slightly dejected-looking.
"I prefer cats, but this form ain't to bad." she winked.
Nicholas wasn't sure what "aint" meant, but he figured he would find out if he was to stay with her.
"Not that I'm not enjoying this, but am I being punked? Did that Kutcher guy come over to Britain or something? ... Is this actually for real, I'm not... like.. going clinically insane am I?"
Punked? Kutcher? What did her strange words mean? "You are not insane." he said, looking up to shake his head.
"Oh, call me Raya. What do you call yourself?"
"Yes, Mistress Raya," he replied subserviantely.
The Djinn tilted his head. Usually they just called him the first thing that came to mind and went on with their wishing. "I-I don't usually talk to myself, or call myself anything." he said completely, serious.
He was eager to change the subject, so he figured he would just spill out as much as be could. "I am a Djinn, a wish-granter. Like a genie, though I will stay with you until the death of either of us," he timidly remembered master who had brought the death of Nicholas into the picture. "We don't have m-many rules, just a few." he promised.
"You can't wish for eternal life. Nor can you wish anyone out of existence. Lastly, you can't wish for the location if another Djinn." he liked getting this out of the way early on.
He placed both hands behind his back, and bit his lip.

"Alright then, I can live with that." Raya agreed after hearing the rules. "I don't need to live forever, that'd be boring, don't have anyone I hate enough to wish them out of exsistence, and besides it'd be much more fun to send them to mars or somewhere.. And for the last rule, I have you so I really don't need another Djinn then."
She grinned at him, quite pleased with herself for reasons unknown. "So what's your name?"

"Yes, you have me." And me. His other side mentally rang out.
She beamed at Nicholas, apparently quite pleased with herself for reasons unknown to him. "So what's your name?"
"Whatever you wish to call me." he looked at his feet. He hoped it wouldn't be embarrassing.

"Alright... ummm...." She sat back down in her chair as she began thinking up a good name to call him. Raya was almost tempted to call him Jafar, from that one kid's movie. However, that was not a very good name.
"I'm not very good at naming things, or people." Raya admitted. "How about Buddy, or maybe Jafar... Or possibly Nicky?"
She watched his face to see what reactions occured. Raya was prepared to come up with several other names if those three didn't work out.

Sometimes he didn’t really have a clear grasp on just who he was. Sometimes, he would feel the tell-tale signs of the other personality leaking through. Sometimes he wasn’t sure if it was himself he was fighting – another personality, that is – because sometimes it felt like a different entity inside him. One that he could fight against, futile as the fight was. Usually it took a little longer for the transition to happen. Usually they had a little bit more time to fight against the other personality, giving their master time to recognize what was happening.
But the moment she said ‘Nicky’, Sunder snapped forward viciously. Burning orange eyes glared down at her, his form rising in height steadily as he walked towards her. Any hint of nervousness left from Nick had vanished, replaced by a seething anger. “Do not ever refer to us as Nicky,” he snarled, towering over her. His body trembled with anger, and his fingers were leaking dark energy. He felt sorely tempted to kill her on the spot.
He took a deep, calming breath. He slowly shrunk back to his normal height, straightening his clothes irritably. Bright orange eyes flicked back up to Raya, anger swirling in their depths. “You can call him Nicholas. I’m Mr Sunder.” He paused, a wicked grin spreading his face. He took the girl’s chin between two of her fingers and tilted her head upwards to him. “But,” he said, mouth close to her ear as if he were speaking of a conspiracy, “I do rather like the name Jafar. He killed many of his owners, did you know? Single-handedly began the war between the Djinn and the Genies.”
He let go of her chin and flitted away from her. “Now, Mistress Raya, might I grant you a wish?”
