Because I am clearly not right in the head, allow me to present... The Keys of Time: A Doctor Who/Kingdom Hearts CrossoverJust for fun. Open to anyone who wants to have been on the Meddler's TARDIS. Or to have followed him through, responding to his distress signal. Or who wants to play an anime version of their regular character. Or, you know, anyone who wants to play a cartoon character or a SquareSoft RPG character. It'll be filled with epic quests. Action. Adventure. Derring-do. Crazed cartoon ducks and demented cartoon dogs. Oh, and Winnie the Pooh.

I advice indulging in this for information on how that world works: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universe_of_Kingdom_HeartsHow are we going to solve the magic thing btw? That world is heavily magic based in a way that cannot be explained away by technology. Would be funny though, seeing Time Lords completely helpless at seeing 'real' magic xD

My working theory is that Kingdom Hearts is an entirely separate universe. Doctor Who characters get to play by that universe's rules. Magic is one of those rules, and the Time Lords get to deal.
Of course, I also plan to have the Meddler discover at some point that he can cast spells in Kingdom Hearts. Haste, Slow, Demi, that sort of thing. And he's going to be irritable about it.

I'm going to be bringing Axel in and RPing him. Because he would bring for some very interesting 'companion', his morals are very.. questionable P:. That and because he and Sisi look like they could be twins. He'll be knowing Sisi and waiting them up by the beach cave.

Hmm, is the spell thing a Timelord quirk?

Nope everyone who has Materia (condensed raw magic which is crystallized and made into a marble like shape) can cast spells which comes from the Materia's element. So if you've got Fire materia you can cast Fire, if you have Thunder Materia you can cast thunder, ect. kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Magic see here for more information on which materia's there are.

Wohoo! Sounds great. Mind if my new character, Christan comes along. Who is he? For words. Teenager. With. Vortex Manipulator. I'd love to see the fun in KH. And a Heartless Dalek sounds...evil, yet fun.

Would a telekinetic meteria be feasible?

They aren't in the game, but I see no reason to let trivia like that stop us.
Alec should look into the FFVII "Enemy Skill" materia as well.

If you get hit by a special attack of some sort, and survive it, then you can use that attack yourself.

Everyone starts out with 3 materia slots in their weapon I believe. You just need to get it from somewhere.
I say after we went to the keyhole, lock it with a sonic screwdriver we go to the market and get some basic materia and materia slots build into our weapons.
