Seren poked her head out of the TARDIS. She yanked it back in and grinned from ear to ear. She ran over to a door and yanked it open, pulling out a rack with clothing on it. "Alrighty, we need to look like we fit in here." She said cheerfully as she started digging through the clothing. "We are in the year 1969, and if I guess it right..."
She stopped talking as she pulled out a rather nice looking, yet battered shirt. Throwing it at Rory, and then throwing a few things towards Amy. "We, are going to get to watch the last live performance of the Beatles!" She said this as she disappeared around a corner, and came skidding back out shortly wearing appropriate clothing.
"Too bad we can't take out that woman Yoko. Save them all that heartache,r ight?"

When Seren told them that they ought to change clothes to better fit in to 1969 because they were about to see the Beatles' final live performance, Amy's eyes grew wide and her smile grew to match Seren's wide grin. "No way! The Beatles?!?!" She could hardly believe it. And if she recalled correctly, this was no ordinary concert - not just because the Beatles were 'bigger than Jesus', but because it took place on a rooftop in London. Amy turned her excitement towards her husband and nearly bounced. "Rory! We're gonna see tha Beatles!" She began to sort through the late 1960s-era clothing that Seren had sent her way and picked out something that she thought was rather lovely: a pink mini dress with white go go boots, a long white mod-style coat, and a long white and pink striped scarf. Amy quickly changed her clothes, not caring if anyone was watching - it was only her husband and another girl that might see, anyway (Time Lady, yes - but another girl all the same). Seren had popped off to change and quickly returned, regrettably saying how it was too bad they couldn't do something about Yoko Ono - the woman who has been accused of breaking up the Beatles. Amy smiled smugly and nodded her head. "Yeah, wot a shame... But then again, if we did, we wouldn't be seein' their last live performance, then," she said with a wink. "We all ready, then? I'm just itchin' ta git out there..." For all Amy knew, they had landed on the street, or in an alleyway... or perhaps even on an adjacent roof, for a superior view...

Seren stepped out on to the roof, and it was indeed Seren. They once icy hazel eyes were a warm amber tone. She threw up her hands and gave an exclamatory shout of joy. Her eyes dancing with mirth as she stepped from her TARDIS and did a few happy dances. Her body moving around, and then she stopped staring ahead of her. Her hands pressing to her lips as she looked at the scene.
The last thought Amy had, was the right one. They were on an adjacent roof, staring right at the scene. "Oh sweet mother goddess!" She exclaimed as she whirled around to face the other girl. "Amy, look at it! Isn't just beautiful!" She said in a gushing tone. Stopping she found herself blushing and dropped her hands. "Sorry, probably should act more like a Proper Female Time Lord... not like a teenager..."S he said as she pressed her fingers to her temple.
She rubbed her temples and shook her head, once again those icy hazel eyes had returned. "Well then, shall we settle down and get ready for the performance?" She said as she walked towards the edge of the building and stood on the lip of the building. A bright grin was on her features. "You know, I wish he was here with us. I wish he was." She said softly as she pressed her fingers over her eyes.
"It's been a long time for him, only weeks for me. Still though, I miss him."

Amy followed Seren outside and found to her delight that they were, in fact, on an adjacent rooftop, and she nearly squealed with delight. Seren was quite excited, too - though, she tried to rein herself in, reminding herself that she was a Time Lord, err... Lady, and ought to behave as such.
"Oh, I dunno... It's the BEATLES! There is definitely cause for excitement!" Amy assured her.
Then, Seren started to talk about how she wished The Doctor were here... And in response, Amy pulled her cell phone out and said, "Well... He updated my mobile, so that I can call him," she paused a moment, thinking about how well a seemingly frivolous call inviting him to a rock and roll concert on a rooftop in London might be received. "But, there's no guarantee he'll answer."
Then again, this was the BEATLES, and they were in what was perhaps The Doctor's favorite Earth city: London... There was no telling if he'd show or not, or if he'd even answer the call.
"Ye want me ta give give him a call?"

Seren shook her head, as she took a deep breath. "This may sound odd, but I'd like to spend time with people that know him first. See if getting back in his life would be a benefit, or something that would eat him alive." She said as she took a seat on the edge of the balcony. Her eyes getting lost a little as she traced back in her mind, her breath misting from her as she went back in time to live those moments vividly.
"We met fully, after another girl was teasing me about not having a boyfriend. He showed up, and we ended up being late for classes, so distracted by being around each other." She said this as her fingers laced in her lap, a smile playing on her face. "He was part of a group already, I was just the nerdy girl with books. But we started seeing each other. Over the course of a year, we got closer. Then he decided to make it official and formally ask me on a date."
She spoke of this simple story, then laughed and shook her head. Her eyes misting over with tears for a moment. "Then something bad happened, and I lost him. I think he hates me, to be honest. At least I think the later selves of him, will hate me. They just don't really know or understand the truth..."

The Beatles. Rory had always loved the Beatles, and he smiled at Amy's excited-ness, he was secretly excited inside too. Come on, it was the Beatles. He knew he had been born too late.

From deep within the TARDIS welled a sound, the slow, insistent ringing of a large bell.
Gong.
Gong.
The Cloister Bell, tolling a warning of imminent destruction or existential danger.
Gong.
Gong.
And then, as suddenly as it began, it faded away.

Amy took a seat on the balcony beside Seren and watched the Time Lady as she spoke about The Doctor and how she met him. Seren looked absolutely smitten - Amy would recognize that look anywhere...
"Wait... Wot d'ye mean, ye LOST him?" Amy asked, not really understanding what had happened that The Doctor might 'hate' her. He really only hated the Daleks, as far as she knew... and buttered bread, and beans, and bacon....
"Wot happened?" Amy asked, concern evident in her eyes and tone as The Beatles started tuning their guitars.

Seren smiled softly as her head turned to stare at Amy Pond. "I broke his heart. It was just before the Time War. Not because I wanted to, but because I had to." She whispered as she stared across the area. Her eyes closing as she laughed softly and began to sing softly. "I get by..." She murmured softly, continuing the song low and soft as she shook her head. "I had to break it with him, the Council of Gallifrey said they would order the destruction of my family. One of the Deca, was never meant to be with the Academ..."
She stopped and went still as she heard the bell tolling. She got up, going stock still as her hand rested on Amy's head. She looked around, and then at Rory. "We need to be careful." She stated in a shaking voice. Her eyes wide as she shivered from head to foot. That wasn't a good sign, not at all. And here she was hoping she could just hang out with these two, hear out about her Doctor.

Amy heard the cloister bell, too - but, she didn't really know what it was. With Seren's hand on her head, Amy asked, "Wot's that, then?"
Seren had said that they needed to be careful, and she looked frightfully worried - she sounded worried, too, and she looked a bit paranoid.
"Wot d'we have ta be careful about?" Amy asked, not quite sure what the danger was. She looked at Rory with concern in her eyes and gave a shrug.

"Something was opened, something that shouldn'tve been." The Archivist said as she started walking back and forth across the roof. "OF course from what I've gathered, I shouldn't be either. The Doctor believes he is the Last Time Lord, obviously this is not the case." THe woman said as she walked back and forth, pacing now as she began to babble.
Perhaps this was a common trait with all Time Lords, or maybe just the way Thete and Libby were. "Anyways, we have a performance to watch! Do we not!" She exclaimed as she turned to the red head. "We should prepare ourselves for such an event! Perhaps even get autographs? Lock them away in a safe box, till you can return for them in the future, eh?"

Amy grinned and looked at Rory when Libby suggested they go for autographs to tuck away for later - what a brilliant idea!
"I like it - let's do it," Amy said gleefully, very much up for Libby's suggestion.
The ominous cloister bell was quickly forgotten as Amy turned her attention back to the nearby rooftop that served as The Beatles' current stage. She was brimming with a fangirl-esque excitement, nearly bouncing as she settled in for the show.
