Seren rested on the bed, in one of the many rooms of the TARDIS. Her TARDIS, she had a TARDIS. She wasn't a human, she was a Time Lord, a female Time Lord, with amazing powers. She had been shocked to know that she had been lying to herself for nearly seven years, that her parents had been lying to her for that time period as well. They weren't her parents, they were her old companions. She had been shocked to learn everything.
Shocked when she realized that she and The Specialist were their own people. Seren was a personality, and so was Libby. Libby was marked by the bright blue hazel eyes, were as Seren was marked by her amber brown eyes. A stark difference in how they acted around certain people. Seren and Libby had returned to their TARDIS, and reactivated it finally. She had been happy to be back inside it.
Now it was time for an adventure, unfortunately that made her feel utterly horrible. I promised I would travel the stars with him. She whispered mentally to herself as the tears jumped to her eyes. She was still wearing the green dress, it was her green dress. The one that The Doctor would recognize her in, no matter his regeneration. She would find him again, perhaps in a more amiable form. The other two she had met, had seemed too hesitant to even hold on to her. As if they were nervous.
Getting from the bed, she left the room and went to her control panel. It was time to go to another place and time perhaps. Unfortunately her TARDIS always had it's own ideas in mind. As it started up, Libby found herself in shock as she landed rather quickly. She had hoped to be traveling awhile. She frowned a little as she peeked open the door, to a little cottage. Her TARDIS looked like a rather ornate cabinet, almost like a water cabinet. For now at least, she wondered if she made it look like a blue box - would people think she was The Doctor.
"Well, what is this?"

The first thing Rory when he woke up was the floor. Musta rolled out, that's weird, how did I not notice that? Unless I never got into bed.
He couldn't figure out the details of what had happened the night before, he put his fingers through his hair, noticing the bump on his forehead.
He felt like one of those people in movies, but at least he had clothes on.
Amy.
Rory pushed himself up, and was relieved when he saw his wife's radiant orange hair sticking out from under the candy cane striped sheets.
Then he heard the noise. A door opening.
Rory ventured out of his room.

Amy didn't wake when Rory stirred in bed, but she did when the bedroom door clicked shut. She rolled over, stretched a bit, and then she opened her hazel-green eyes and saw that Rory was gone. Her features looked puzzled - she had expected him to be lying there beside her, but he was gone, and his spot in the bed was still warm.
"Huh..." Amy mused as she turned and set her feet slowly down on the ground and stood up, putting on a pair of fuzzy blue slippers.
Something caught her eye from out her bedroom window, though she couldn't be sure of what it was - so Amy went to check things out.
'Lo and behold, there was a water closet in her yard, and a familiar noise that grew louder as the seconds ticked by.
Amy took in a gasp of surprise and wondered if The Doctor had come back already - and if he'd given his TARDIS a bit of a makeover.
"Rory...?!?!" Amy called out, trying to keep herself calm. "Rory, we got ta git outside - someone's just arrived via water closet..." she hastily explained as she ran down the stairs and out the door. Amy assumed Rory would follow after her - he always did. Rory was nothing if not reliable.

Libby found herself opening the door of her TARDIS. Her's made the same sound that Thete's did. Type 40 model. It was her TARDIS, her connection with him. She had taken it from the museum her parents had it in, she had a key for many of them. Well she did a long time ago, before the planet was destroyed. She had learned that, from someone while she was traveling. It made her sad, to know her home was gone.
That made her remember the date she had with Thete, when they met the TARDIS woman. She remembered the look on her parents faces. That's what they had known, that the children had not. She loved her parents, and knew she would miss them. Her breath rushed from her as she stared at the little cottage. Then she saw the red haired woman rushing out. Libby tucked some hair behind her ear.
" 'ello! Pleasure to meet you. I was just traveling through, apparently she likes this place." She said as she patted the side of the TARDIS. She had a different feel to her, then The Doctor. But she really did seem a bit odd. At least that's how Libby felt about herself. It was libby right now, meaning the eyes were hazel blue, as her eyes had been so long ago. "Pleasure to meet ya, I'm... The Archivist."

Well, that explained it - her name was 'The Archivist', and she traveled in a box that hopefully was bigger on the inside, like The Doctor's TARDIS. This box of hers was likely a TARDIS, too, and Amy was dying for a peek inside...
At least, that's what Amy assumed as she smiled at the newcomer, totally enchanted to meet another Traveler like The Doctor.
The redhead did not react as a 'normal' person may have, upon seeing a Traveler such as The Archivist. In fact, Amy was quite excited to meet this girl - this very, very odd girl who reminded Amy of her Doctor, but not quite.
"Pleased ta meet ye as well," Amy said. "I'm Amy Pond, an' that's my Rory," she went on enthusiastically, returning The Archivist's introduction.
"I think my yard is some kind 'a hot spot fer strange activity..." she muttered, remembering the crack that had been in her bedroom wall for so long before her Doctor had mended it and all of the others, as well - among many other things... First and foremost The Doctor having crash landed there upon his most recent regeneration and meeting seven-year-old Amelia Pond. Not to mention fish fingers and custard...
"Ye see, I'm a friend of The Doctor's - d'ye know him? The Doctor?" Amy asked hopefully. "An', is yuirs bigger on tha inside, too?" she asked, pointing at The Archivist's box.

Libby watched them, hazel eyes were shifting only a little. She took a long breath and closed her eyes. When they opened again, they were amber colored, a stark dark amber. She watched the woman, and felt a sense of sisterhood spreading through her. "You can also call meh Seren, Seren Ash." She said softly. Of course that name would sound familiar to anyone that was around children often enough. She wrote a rather popular childrens series. She wrote a very long, very detailed series. That when looked at properly, might be very similar to a lot of the Doctor's adventures. But they were all from the prospective of a female.
She stopped and listened as the woman spoke to her, a smile spreading across her features. Her eyes lit up, and shifted back to that bright blue hazel color. "A pleasure to meet you Ameli-Amy, sorry... dunno why I wanted to say Amelia. Pleasure to meet you as well Rory." She said as she snapped her fingers and grinned from ear to ear. Walking towards the two of them, and stopping as she looked back at her box. A grin spreading across her face. She was a little nervous for a moment, as she pulled out a small pen, clickign it a few times as it morphed into her Sonic device. Fitting for an Archivist. "Well I'm The Archivist, you are Amy and Rory, and yes... yes... this has strange activity."
She stopped and looked at her TARDIS. Then she was drawn back to stare at the girl, her eyes wide. "The Doctor! Know 'em? He was my highschool sweety. Oh I could tell you so many things about him..." She said with a teasing smile.

"Seren Ash, the author?" Amy asked. She had come across her work in the bookstore one day, and decided to buy some of them in hopes of giving them to her daughter, Melody, someday... When The Doctor found her and rescued her and brought her back home to her mum and dad.
"Well, wot a small world it t'is," she commented with a smile, certain that the stories she'd purchased (and read - and loved!) may not truly be works of fiction, after all...
Heck, perhaps Amy herself ought to write up some of her own adventures with The Doctor under the guise of young adult novels...? They might even become bigger sellers than Twilight, or Harry Potter!
"I love your work - I hope to give my daughter copies of your books, someday..." Amy went on, not revealing that her baby daughter was somewhere across time and space, having been taken from her by The Silence.
She was so giddy from meeting Seren - The Archivist - that she didn't really pay any mind to the fact that she nearly addressed her as Amelia, rather than Amy.
When Seren whipped out a pen that transformed into a sonic device, not unlike The Doctor's, Amy got even more excited. Seren scanned Amy's yard with her sonic pen and confirmed that this place was indeed a hot spot for weird happenings.
And THEN, Seren revealed that she was once The Doctor's high school sweetheart.
That must mean that Seren was super-old, too - a Time Lord, like The Doctor.
"No way! Yuir kiddin'!" Amy said, absolutely dazzled by what she was learning. "That's amazin'! I'd love ta hear yuir stories - that'd be absolutely brilliant!"
Amy was soooooo close to asking about taking a peek inside of her TARDIS and maybe inviting herself - and Rory - along on an adventure with their new friend. But... She didn't want to be rude, so she held off and hoped that Seren would extend such an invitation soon.

"Well put it simply, I was Seren Ash. Grew up as her for nearly eight years. See I ran away from the Time War, made myself human to hide." She said as she clicked her pen again and yawned. She calmly put the pen back on the inside of her jacket. The green dress was swishing around her legs as she stepped up towards the other woman. A laugh left her as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Alright, well how about I give you one that no one else will ever have." She said as she reached into her backpack - always present - and pulled out a small slim notebook.
"I wrote all of these stories, before I remembered what I really was. This is one novel, that will never be released. It's a little more adult, more for older teens. It was... well easy enough to say I've named it 'I like Smoke and Lightning'. It's The Doctor's First Date with me." She said with a smile, her head tilting back as she laughed rather loud. A giggle turned into a full laugh as she reached out with her free hand to grab Amy's arm. "Impossible young woman, that's what you are. But I like that." She said as her eyes glittered with something akin to pain.
"So you've seen the more recent him, I take it? What's... he like." She whispered. This was a woman that still loved The Doctor with all of her heart, every single fiber of her being. She wanted to be there for him, forever. But she was also lonely, so very very lonely. "Would you two, would you like to travel with me? I can take you places, just as easily as he can. I also remember everything big and small in the history of the cultures and books I have read..." She whispered softly.

Seren had mentioned the Time War, which was something Amy knew, really, nothing about. She'd heard of it in passing, sure... But, the specifics hadn't been revealed to her - at least, not yet. The Doctor always seemed to not wish to speak of it, like it caused him a terribly intense pain, and Amy didn't want to force him to dredge up any painful memories. Friends didn't do that to each other, at least, not on purpose.
But, Seren could tell her all about it... Possibly.
The Archivist pulled out a thin notebook and passed it to Amy, telling her that it contained unpublished, private stories with her Doctor - such as, namely, their first date.
Amy gasped with delight and lovingly held the notebook to herself, almost as if she were hugging it.
"Oh, wow... How fascinatin'! Are ye sure ye want ta share this with me?" Amy asked cautiously, though she could hardly contain herself and her desire to read the tale.
Seren had laughed and called her an 'impossible young woman', and then she went on to say that she liked that about Amy and asked about the more recent version of The Doctor.
Amy grinned and replied, "He's amazin'... A bit mad, but absolutely brilliant. His fashion sense is a more than a little lacking... But, no one else I've ever met looks as dashing as he does in those silly suspenders an' bow tie - not ta mention tha fez..."
"Stupid things, really - Fezzes. Though, despite the odd hat choice, I trust him ta tha end 'a tha universe, an' beyond," Amy vowed, her voice full of certainity and conviction - although, she had expected him to come back for her (and maybe Rory, too) quite some time ago.
And then... Seren invited Amy and Rory to travel with her. Amy's jaw dropped slightly in awe, and her heartbeat quickened with a renewed hope.
"Oh, yes! Please!" Her eyes glittered with the promise of an adventure, and she looked to Rory for a moment to see if he approved.
If he didn't, Amy would just have to go on without him, which would be a pity - but, she could be back home before he ever began to miss her, thanks to the beauty of time travel.
Hopefully, he'd want to come with.

Rory looked between the quiet house and the water closet which stood in front of him, and considered his situation.
So it's between staying here, and going with a person I don't know on adventures I can't even imagine. In a water closet. I suppose it's not so much different.
The thought took a moment to process. Rory smiled back at his wife, and said, in the voice of a high-class British Officer, "Onwards!"

Libby waved her hand dismissively at the other woman, when she started questioning about the stories. "Gives you a little more insight about the Doctor, I suppose." She said, her lips quirking into a smile. She put her hands on her hips and waited patiently, watching the two of them. Her eyes were sparking with mischief, and her head turned as she looked back at her TARDIS. "You wanna learn how to fly her a little? Could always use some help." She commented.
Then both of them answered. "Well then ONWARD!" She exclaimed as she walked over to her TARDIS and pulled open the door, stepping into it and then into the larger then the outside control room. There was wooden doors leading to hallways, and surprisingly there was a map hung up near the console panel. "If you need to find something, this will show you how to find it. There is also copies that break away and turn to three dimensional Holographics. That way you don't get lost."
She walked over to her console, and started inputting a few things. "Alright, my darling Girl, where do you think I need to go. Where should I go with this interesting people, that know my beloved Doctor?" She whispered to her TARDIS. Her voice, when she spoke about the Doctor, held the utmost affection and love. It was absolutely obvious, or would be if the new people were astute, that how she felt about the man.

Amy beamed at her husband and hurried along to enter Seren's TARDIS. Just like The Doctor's TARDIS, it was bigger on the inside, but this machine was decidedly different entity. Seren showed them some sort of holographic map - for future reference, no doubt - and continued on her way.
Amy followed closely behind, certain that Rory was right there too, marveling at the inside of this new TARDIS. She had been wondering if this model TARDIS was also considered a female, like The Doctor's, but before she could ask The Archivist, Amy overheard her at the controls affectionately whispering to her TARDIS - and sure enough, it was another female. Amy grinned, thinking that it was quite fabulous that the TARDISes were ladies.
It seemed that the people who knew him either loved The Doctor, or hated him, and Amy had heard in Seren's tone something that gave away how intensely she loved The Doctor, which even more strongly endeared her to Amy.
Amy just hoped that if and/or when Seren were to ever meet her daughter, River Song, that she wouldn't feel any animosity, since Amy knew that River and The Doctor had something special, too.
"So... Has she decided where ta take us?" Amy eagerly asked The Archivist as she approached her at the console.

Libby looked over at Amy as she was watching the TARDIS. A grin played on the woman's face as she slammed forward her TARDIS. "If you need a room for yourselves, pick whichever one you want." She commented as she started walking around the console. "You see that blue knob? Turn it ninety degrees, and then pull it back." She called out to Amy as she was working on one side of her console. Then she looked at Rory and arched a brow. "You, see that screen, watch it and tell me if their is anything dangerous looking." She commented.
With that she whirled around and started to close her eyes, her arms spread out as she focused her mind on her knowledge. "I believe, she'll take us somewhere fun. This is our first meeting, I think she wishes to bring us happiness, and joy. A good start, nothing bad. But who knows..." She said as she felt the TARDIS come to a lurching stop. She looked at the two of them, and grinned from ear to ear. "Also, we will take a peek outside. If it requires costumes, we will be getting them."
(( So where would you all like to go? ))

Amy was delighted to have been able to help fly Seren's TARDIS - even if it had just been one knob - and Rory looked happy to be a part of everything, too. It felt almost like they were back with The Doctor again, only... not quite.
As Seren spun herself around and seemingly prayed to her TARDIS, Amy thought, 'Wot tha hell?' and decided to join in, dancing and spinning in a similar fashion.
Maybe it would help?
The TARDIS lurched to a halt, and Seren directed that they would take a peek outside and determine if they would require costumes to blend in with the time period, or not. Amy was nearly bouncing with excitement, and she bounded towards the TARDIS doors, intent on peeking outside along with their host.
"Ohhh, I hope we need costumes! I just LOVE dressin' up," Amy said, tossing a saucy wink at Rory.
