History: Raised in America, he was attacked by a wolf on a school trip. The boy was mangled, but made a full recovery by his next birthday. He spent the next full moon struggling with becoming a wolf before he realized what had really happened. In an effort to cure himself, he researched lycanthropy, and determined that killing the wolf that bit him would return him to normal. On his 18th birthday, he travelled to the location where he had been bitten and attempted to hunt the creature down. Killing it didn't actually work, and he realized he would be like that for the remainder of his life. He settled back into life, keeping himself isolated when he went wolf, until he met The Doctor.
Additional Medical Information: Suffers from an allergy to mistletoe, which disrupts his ability to control his form.
